Capacity for spiritual announcements.... change of heart....

What stand the human being takes on the spiritual transmissions determines also his capacity for these announcements. And thus two people can receive the same knowledge and yet be touched by it differently. Although the announcements themselves are easy to understand for every spiritually striving person, they are a completely new field for a purely earthly-minded individual. They originate from the spiritual kingdom and also have the spiritual kingdom as their content, thus they also appear improbable to the worldly-minded person, just as everything spiritual seems unreal and therefore implausible to him. A closer explanation will also not be successful for him. He cannot grasp it because he also does not want to delve into an area which touches him (26.9.1947) terribly. For his soul rejects everything that goes beyond its cognitive faculties. It rejects it as completely contradictory to its state, it does not want to submit itself to demands which are contrary to its will. But a worldly-directed soul's will is always turned towards matter, and spiritual striving is not appealing to it but obstructive to its worldly interests. Its aim is earthly goods and therefore it neither desires nor utilises spiritual goods if they are offered to it without desire. And therefore, understanding can rarely be expected from a worldly-minded person unless the world disappoints him to such an extent that the soul then seeks a substitute, namely instinctively where imperishable goods are handed out. Such a change of heart can occur after earthly failures, after tribulation and great earthly hardship, which would then have fulfilled a high purpose for which the soul, after realising it, is extremely grateful to its creator. Yet it must in free will seek contact with the spiritual kingdom through reflection or continued activity of love, then it will also have understanding for the announcements from on high, and its powers of judgment will also correspond to its desire for truth, it will mature in realisation, it will receive a treasure of spiritual knowledge, it will never ever want to miss it and endeavour to fulfil God's will and thus live in divine order.... But then it has also already become an aspirant of the spiritual kingdom from where knowledge is imparted to it. It has become a bearer of truth, a receiver of light, and it can now distribute truth, it can let the light shine.... i.e., the human being can make use of his knowledge and instruct others who are ignorant, he can work for the kingdom of God.... But only that human being can be addressed as a worker for the kingdom of God who is in contact with the spiritual kingdom, i.e. who has received the knowledge from on high, or to whom it was conveyed by fellow human beings, and the beings of light must have had such an effect on him that it has fully become his intellectual property. He must not only have listened to it with his ears but his heart and intellect must have become active after receiving spiritual knowledge, only then will it have brought him realisation, and only then will spiritual gifts.... announcements of spiritual content.... be utilised correctly and ensure the human being's spiritual ascent.... an increased degree of maturity of his soul....

영적 계시를 이해할 능력. 생각의 변화.

사람이 영적인 계시에 어떤 자세를 갖는 것처럼, 그의 계시를 이해하는 능력도 그렇게 된다. 그러므로 두 사람이 같은 지식을 받을 수 있지만, 그러나 이 지식이 두 사람에게 서로 다른 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 모든 영적인 추구를 하는 사람들은 계시 자체를 쉽게 이해할 수 있지만, 그러나 순전히 세상적인 자세를 가진 사람에게는 계시 자체가 전혀 모르는 영역이다. 계시는 영의 영역에서 왔고, 그의 내용 또한 영의 나라이다. 즉 세상 사람에게는 황당무계 하게 보이고, 그에게는 마찬가지로 모든 영적인 내용이 비현실적으로 보이고 따라서 믿기지 않는다. 그에게 더 자세한 설명을 해주는 일은 성공하지 못할 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 이해할 수 없고, 그가 자신을 놀라게 하는 영역을 깊이 탐구하기를 원하지 않기 때문이다. (1947년 9월 26일). 왜냐면 그의 혼이 자신의 깨달을 수 있는 능력을 넘어서는 모든 것을 거부하기 때문이다. 혼은 스스로 자신의 상태에 전적으로 합당하지 않은 것으로 계시를 거부하고, 자신의 의지와 반대가 되는 요구들을 따르기를 원하지 않는다.

세상 지향적인 혼의 의지는 항상 물질로 향하고, 영적인 추구를 하는 일이 혼에게 매력적이지 않고, 오히려 혼의 세상적인 관심을 방해한다. 혼의 목표는 세상 재물이고, 그러므로 혼은 영적인 재물을 갈망하지 않고, 혼이 갈망하지 않는 영적인 내용을 혼에게 제공하면, 혼은 이를 활용하지 않는다. 그러므로 세상이 세상 사람을 아주 실망시켜, 그가 이제 본능적으로 불멸하는 재물을 전해주는 곳에서 대체물을 찾지 않는다면, 단지 희귀하게 그가 이해하는 일을 기대할 수 있다. 이런 생각의 변화는 높은 목적을 성취시켜줄 이 땅의 실패와 환난과 이 땅의 큰 고난 후에 일어날 수 있다. 혼이 깨달음을 얻은 후에 혼은 자신의 깨달음에 따라 창조주에게 이 땅의 실패와 환난과 이 땅의 큰 고난에 대해 아주 감사하게 된다.

그러나 혼은 생각하는 일이나 계속하여 사랑을 행하는 일을 통해 자유의지로 영의 나라과의 연결을 추구해야 한다. 그러면 혼은 또한 높은 곳에서 발표된 내용을 이해하게 될 것이고, 그녀의 판단력은 진리를 향한 갈망에 따라 결정될 것이다. 혼의 깨달음은 성숙해질 것이고, 영적 지식의 보물을 얻게 될 것이고, 절대로 이런 보물을 잃기를 원하지 않게 될 것이고, 하나님의 뜻을 성취하기 위해 노력할 것이다. 즉 하나님의 질서대로 살기 위해 노력할 것이다. 그러면 혼은 이미 영의 나라의 후보자이고, 지식이 영의 나라에서 혼에게 전해진다. 혼은 진리를 가진 혼이 되었고, 빛을 받는 혼이 되었고, 혼은 이제 진리를 전할 수 있고 빛을 비출 수 있다. 즉 사람은 자신의 지식을 활용할 수 있고, 다른 무지한 사람들을 가르칠 수 있고, 하나님의 나라를 위해 일할 수 있다.

그러나 단지 영의 나라와 연결이 되어 있는 사람을, 즉 높은 곳에서 지식을 받은 사람을, 또는 이웃 사람에 의해 지식을 받은 사람을 단지 하나님의 나라의 일꾼이라고 할 수 있다. 영적인 지식이 전적으로 모두 사람의 소유가 되려면, 빛의 존재가 사람에게 역사해야만 한다. 그가 단지 귀로 들을 뿐만 아니라, 영적인 내용을 받은 후에 심장과 이성이 역사해야만 한다. 그러면 지식이 비로소 그에게 깨달음을 주고, 그가 비로소 영적인 선물이, 영적인 내용을 가진 계시를 올바르게 활용하고, 영적인 성장을 하고, 그의 혼의 성숙한 정도가 증가된다.
