Realisation of the worthlessness of the earthly.... afterlife....

What can earthly life still offer you if you have realised that life in the spiritual kingdom is far more valuable, that it is, after all, the actual life which is only preceded by a period of preparation.... the life of the soul in embodiment as a human being.... And when this time of preparation draws to a close, every thought must then be directed towards the afterlife, this afterlife must be eagerly awaited because it replaces the life in the last shell and the soul as a free spirit enters spheres which touch it in an extremely pleasant way if only the soul has reached a certain degree of maturity. Everything earthly must lose its appeal in view of this realisation and every day must only be regarded as an intermediate station. And thus the human being cannot be shocked by the knowledge of the near end, for if he has this knowledge he knows the cause and purpose of it, and the knowledge of it only contributes to a faster detachment from everything that belongs to earth. The human being has to become calm within himself, he only has to concentrate on spiritual knowledge, he has to strive to avoid every temptation and hand himself completely over to God so that he will be seized by His love, and then he will only live in God and his earthly life will not have been in vain. However, the knowledge of eternal truth is a gift of grace which the human being can and must acquire for himself through unselfish neighbourly love; but this always means overcoming selfish love and thus renouncing earthly joys and pleasures of his own accord.... Consequently, the human being must first give something before he can receive, he must not regard the earth with its appeals as desirable, but he must learn to despise it, only then does he relinquish what is still valuable to his fellow human beings. He gives it to the needy neighbour and receives something purely spiritual in return.... The spheres of light open up to him and radiate into his heart, which now detaches itself more and more from earthly things and exchanges spiritual knowledge for it, which now makes him consciously strive for spiritual life. The end will not come as a surprise to such people, for through knowledge they stand in deep faith and through faith again in the knowledge of God's eternal plan of salvation, of the meaning and purpose of earthly life and of the worthlessness of earthly matter. They live consciously and with God and will gladly exchange life for eternal bliss....

Percebendo a inutilidade da.... terrestre Afterlife....

O que pode a vida terrena ainda oferecer-lhe se tiver reconhecido que a vida no reino espiritual é muito mais valiosa, que é, afinal, a vida real que só é precedida por um período de preparação.... a vida da alma em encarnação como ser humano.... E à medida que este tempo de preparação se aproxima do fim, cada pensamento deve então ser dirigido para a vida após a morte, esta vida após a morte deve ser ansiosamente aguardada porque substitui a vida na última concha e a alma entra nas esferas como um espírito livre que a toca de uma forma extremamente benéfica se apenas a alma tiver atingido um certo grau de maturidade. Tudo o que é terreno deve perder o seu atractivo face a esta realização e todos os dias deve ser considerado apenas como uma estação intermédia. E assim o ser humano não pode ficar chocado com o conhecimento do fim próximo, pois se ele tem esse conhecimento conhece a causa e o objectivo do mesmo, e o conhecimento dele apenas contribui para um desprendimento mais rápido de tudo o que pertence à terra. O ser humano tem de se tornar calmo dentro de si, só tem de se concentrar no conhecimento espiritual, tem de se esforçar para evitar todas as tentações e entregar-se completamente a Deus para que seja tomado pelo Seu amor, e então só viverá em Deus e a sua vida terrena não terá sido em vão. Contudo, o conhecimento da verdade eterna é um dom de graça que o ser humano pode e deve adquirir para si próprio através do amor altruísta ao próximo; mas isto significa sempre vencer o amor egoísta e assim renunciar às alegrias e prazeres terrenos por sua própria vontade..... Consequentemente, o ser humano deve primeiro dar algo antes de poder receber, não deve considerar a terra com os seus encantos como desejável, mas deve aprender a desprezá-la, só então é que se despoja do que ainda é valioso para os seus semelhantes. Ele dá ao vizinho necessitado e recebe algo puramente espiritual em troca.... As esferas de luz abrem-se-lhe e irradiam para o seu coração, que agora se separa cada vez mais das coisas terrenas e troca conhecimentos espirituais por elas, o que agora lhe permite lutar conscientemente pela vida espiritual. O fim não será uma surpresa para essas pessoas, pois através do conhecimento elas permanecem na fé profunda e através da fé novamente no conhecimento do plano eterno de salvação de Deus, do significado e propósito da vida terrena e da inutilidade da matéria terrena. Vivem conscientemente e com Deus e trocarão de bom grado a vida pela felicidade eterna...._>Ámen
