Spiritual turn....

A spiritual turning point can only be spoken of when a time of low level is replaced by a time when people are spiritually on a high level and closely united with God, when they develop progressively, in contrast to the time before, when there was only stagnation or decline. However, such a spiritual turning point cannot occur until the low has been reached, for this must result in the final separation of spiritually elevated and completely immature souls, for no paradisiacal state on earth is possible until this separation has taken place. But this will always be the beginning of a phase of development, otherwise God Himself could not dwell among His own. Consequently, there can be no doubt that the last end will soon come if the human being keeps an eye out and pays attention to his fellow human beings; the great earthly adversity must also be proof that the whole of humanity remains in a spiritually low state; and only a dissolution of everything that harbours spiritual substances can put an end to this state. And therefore the human being need not doubt that he will soon witness a work of destruction such as has never been experienced before.... For all signs point to it; the gaps in human knowledge will now be filled by God Himself, and according to human judgement the last day is not far off.... And yet the day and hour of the end remains hidden from man. But that a spiritual turning point is to be expected soon is evident from the fact that humanity has already reached the low point which necessitates a change into the opposite. If people were willing to change in order to remedy the spiritual low by virtue of their will, one could indeed speak of a spiritual ascent but never of a spiritual turning point. For the state which bears the character of a spiritual turning point must be completely opposite to the state before, and such a state can no longer be expected on this earth.... the state of a peaceful in-God life, which is a change in brightest light, i.e. clearest realization and deepest knowledge, a state in strength and bliss. And this must replace the opposite, darkness of spirit, ignorance and powerlessness and therefore also unhappiness. And these are the signs of a near end, that people live without God, without faith and without love they also walk in dark night, in error, and their weakness of will is unable to bring about a change. And therefore God puts an end to this state.... He dissolves the old earth and ends the life of all creatures on it.... He creates a new earth, new creations and embodies all spiritual beings according to their degree of development, and this means that the spiritual beings embodied on the old earth as human beings are transferred back into the hardest form, into matter, because they failed in their last test of earthly life, because they no longer recognize and acknowledge God and are therefore without light. On the new earth, however, a high degree of maturity will be found among people, for they will live in the most intimate union with God and bliss and peace....

영적인 변화.

영적으로 저조한 때가 사람들이 영적으로 높은 단계에 있고, 하나님과 긴밀하게 연결되어 있고, 이전의 사람들이 단지 정지되어 있거나 퇴보하는 때와는 달리 사람들이 성장해나가는 때로 대체가 되면, 비로소 영적인 전환이라고 말할 수 있다. 그러나 이런 영적 전환이 저조한 상태에 도달하기 전에는 일어날 수 없다. 왜냐면 저조한 상태가 영적으로 높은 단계에 있는 혼들과 완전히 성숙하지 못한 혼들을 최종적으로 분리시키는 일이 일어나게 해야만 하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 이런 분리가 완료되기 전에는 이 땅이 낙원의 상태가 되는 일이 불가능하기 때문이다. 그러나 구원 단계의 초기에는 항상 낙원의 상태는 될 것이다. 그렇지 않으면 하나님 자신이 사람들 가운데 거할 수 없게 된다.

그러므로 사람이 주위를 둘러보고 이웃 사람들에게 주의를 기울일 때, 마지막 종말이 곧 임할 것을 의심할 수 없게 된다. 이 땅의 큰 위험도 또한 인류 전체가 영적으로 낮은 상태에 있다는 증거가 되야만 한다. 영적인 존재를 담고 있는 모든 것을 분해시키는 일이 단지 이런 상태를 끝낼 수 있다. 그러므로 인간이 전에 경험한 적이 없는 파괴되는 역사의 증인이 될 것임을 의심할 필요가 없다.

왜냐면 모든 징조가 파괴의 역사를 암시하기 때문이다. 하나님 자신이 이제 인간의 지식의 빈틈을 채워주고, 인간의 판단에 따라 마지막 날이 멀리에 있지 않다. 그러나 마지막 날과 시간은 사람들에게 숨겨져 있다. 그러나 곧 영적 전환이 예상되는 일은 인류가 이미 저조한 지점에 이르렀고, 그의 반대가 되는 변화가 필요하다는 사실에서 비롯된 일이다. 사람들이 자신의 의지로 영적으로 저조한 상태를 바꾸기 위해 자원하여 변한다면, 실제 영적인 성장이라고 말할 수 있다. 그러나 절대로 영적 전환이라고 말할 수 없다.

왜냐면 영적인 전환이라고 할 수 있는 상태는, 이전의 상태와 완전히 반대가 되야만 하고, 평화가 충만하게 하나님 안에 살고, 가장 밝은 빛 가운데, 즉 가장 선명한 깨달음과 가장 깊은 지식을 가진, 힘을 가진 축복된 상태는 이 땅에서 더 이상 기대할 수 없기 때문이다. 이런 상태가 일은 정반대의 상태인 영의 어둡고, 무지와 무기력하고, 따라서 축복도지 못한 상태와 대체돼야만 한다. 사람들은 하나님 없이, 믿음 없이 사랑 없이 또한 어두운 밤 속에서, 오류 가운데 사는 상태들이 다가오는 종말의 징조이고, 그들의 연약한 의지로는 변화를 일으킬 수 없다.

그러므로 하나님이 이런 상태를 끝낸다. 그는 옛 땅을 분해시키고, 옛 땅 위에 있는 모든 피조물의 생명을 끝내고, 새로운 땅과 새로운 창조물을 창조하고, 모든 영적인 존재들이 자신의 성장 정도에 맞게 육신을 입게 한다. 이런 일은 옛 땅에서 인간으로 육신을 입은 영적인 존재가 굳은 형체 안으로, 물질 안으로 다시 돌아가는 일이다. 왜냐면 영적인 존재가 자신의 마지막 이 땅의 시험에서 실패했고, 더 이상 하나님을 깨닫지 못하고, 인정하지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 새 땅은 높은 수준으로 성장한 사람들이 살게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그들이 하나님과 가장 긴밀하고 연합이 된 가운데 축복과 평화 가운데 살기 때문이다.
