Belief in the immortality of the soul.... Truth....

The death of the body is not the end of the soul. People fail to realise and believe this and therefore do not evaluate earthly life in accordance with My Will. They more or less only care for the needs of their body but not for their soul.... they behave irresponsibly towards their soul because they are not certain of its existence and of its immortality. For that reason they have to be taught about the immortality of soul first if your efforts to modify their way of life should be successful. But a belief in this also requires their own reflection which requires their own will and which cannot be compelled. The immortality of soul makes the meaning and purpose of earthly life understandable, and only then is it possible for the human being to change himself, to regard the life of the soul more important than the life of the body.

Humanity is confronted by two major dangers.... disbelief in the soul and its immortality, and misguided teachings. The latter are a hindrance to spiritual ascent even to those who believe in the immortality of soul, because they portray a wrong image of the eternal Deity and because people usually neglect to implement one thing.... to establish a sincere relationship with Me either mentally or by means of the right kind of prayer.... Only this will guarantee their spiritual ascent because then I will be able to become effective Myself. Thus My servants’ most important work on earth relates to the eradication of misguided teachings and the awakening of faith in a continuation of life after death.... And people will have to listen to My servants if they want to be successful during the brief time on earth which remains to them before the end. They will only be able to obtain completely truthful explanations where such are sent down from heaven; they can only be taught about the soul’s life after death and the teaching of Christ by Myself either directly or indirectly, but then their faith can become a convinced one that will stand firm against all contentions, which ensures spiritual ascent and brings the soul everlasting life in blissful happiness. Otherwise the fate of the soul is unhappiness, because it will never cease to exist and yet it is in a state in eternity which it has voluntarily created for itself due to its disbelief and an earthly life in opposition to My Will.

Anyone who firmly believes in the immortality of the soul will start the work of improving his soul much sooner, but the person who believes that his life will end with the death of his body remains indifferent and lethargic or totally incapable and unwilling. You, My servants, cannot describe to them the soul’s continuation of life seriously enough, even though you cannot prove it to them. Yet with serious thought the human being can come to the inner conviction that you spoke the truth because I Myself will help them to recognise the truth providing they genuinely want it and do not refuse to listen to you. Earthly life takes on an entirely different meaning for the believer; he no longer perceives it as an end in itself but only as a means to an end and reproaches his own way of life which he subsequently tries to improve, depending on his strength of will. And as soon as he is presented with the pure truth his faith will be strengthened while misguided teachings will only destroy him and let him relapse into darkness.... Thus the truth must be spread to bring life to the souls, because misconceptions and lies are the soul’s death in the spiritual kingdom but not it’s passing away, it merely means complete weakness and is therefore a state of severe distress which I would like to avert from the soul by sending My messengers to bring help before it is too late....

Fe en la inmortalidad del alma

La muerte del cuerpo no significa el fin del alma...

Como a los hombres les falta la fe en esto, no aprovechan de la vida terrenal de la manera como corresponde a mi Voluntad. Se crean un sistema de orden, pero eso más bien sólo para su cuerpo y no para su alma. De modo que ante su alma actúan con irresponsabilidad, porque no son convencidos de su existencia y de su inmortalidad. Por eso, para que vuestros esfuerzos de animarlos a otro plan de vida puedan tener éxito, ante todo, hay que llamarles la atención sobre la inmortalidad del alma. Pero la fe en ello requiere cierta reflexión cuyo resultado afecta la libre voluntad de los hombres - de modo que no se puede conseguir tal fe a base de la fuerza.

Con la inmortalidad del alma el hombre también comprenderá el sentido y el objetivo de la vida terrenal... Y sólo entonces se da la posibilidad que cambie... que considere la vida del alma por más importante que la del cuerpo físico. Sólo que ahí se presentan dos peligros a los que la humanidad está expuesta: por un lado la incredulidad en el alma y en su inmortalidad, y por otro las doctrinas erróneas que también para aquel que cree en la inmortalidad del alma son un obstáculo para su progreso espiritual... pues le dan una imagen errónea de la eterna Divinidad.

Entonces los hombres en general omiten establecer una unión Conmigo, sea en su fuero interno o mediante una verdadera oración - pero precisamente estos son los que garantizan su ascenso espiritual porque únicamente entonces Yo mismo puedo actuar. Por eso la tarea más importante de mis siervos en la Tierra es la extinción de doctrinas erróneas y de despertar la fe en la continuación de la vida después de la muerte física.

Y los hombres tendrán que escuchar a mis siervos si quieren tener éxito en la corta vida en la Tierra que todavía les queda hasta el final. Sólo podrán conseguir enseñanzas absolutamente verdaderas donde estas les estén ofrecidas desde lo Alto. Sobre la vida del alma después de la muerte tanto como sobre la Doctrina de Cristo sólo pueden recibir Enseñanza de Mí, directa o indirectamente; pero entonces, como resultado, la fe será inquebrantable y resistirá a toda clase de objeciones - una fe que garantiza el ascenso espiritual y que trae al alma una vida eterna bienaventurada.

En el caso contrario la suerte del alma será desgraciada porque nunca dejará de existir; pues en el Más Allá se encontrará en un estado que ella misma se ha preparado mediante su voluntad a causa de su incredulidad y su comportamiento contrario a mi Voluntad.

Aquel que tiene una profunda fe en la inmortalidad del alma también empezará más pronto con el trabajo de darle una buena formación; pero el hombre que cree que su vida se acaba con la del cuerpo quedará mohíno o adopta una actitud de rechazo. Por eso, vosotros que sois mis siervos, no debéis cansaros en llamarles la atención sobre la inmortalidad del alma, aunque no se lo podáis probar.

Pero mediante profunda reflexión el hombre puede también en su interior llegar a la convicción que vuestras palabras son pura Verdad, porque Yo mismo les ayudo a reconocer lo verdadero - si tan sólo son verdaderamente interesados y no os rechazan sin escucharos.

Para el hombre de fe, la vida terrenal obtiene una importancia totalmente distinta, porque ya no la considera como una finalidad en sí sino como un medio para conseguir un fin... Él mismo se reprocha su conducta y, según su voluntad, procura a mejorarla. Y nada más presentarle la pura Verdad, también se fortalece su fe, mientras que enseñanzas erróneas sólo le destruyen y hacen que vuelva a caer en oscuridad.

Por eso hay que divulgar la Verdad, para traer a las almas la Vida; porque en el Reino espiritual el error y la mentira son la muerte del alma - lo que no quiere decir que el alma se muera, sino que entrará en una impotencia total que le resulta en un estado de extremo tormento... un estado que Yo quisiera evitar a cada alma, por lo que cada vez de nuevo les mando mensajeros para que les ayuden antes de que sea demasiado tarde.
