Light.... God’s word....

From the realms of light the light flows inexorably into the darkness of the earth, and whoever moves in the rays of light is no longer frightened by the darkness. Nevertheless, dark figures seek to darken the path of light in order to mislead people who are making their way upwards. But the light is so bright that they cannot bear it and flee from its power. And the path to the height again lies bright and clear before the person who wants to reach the aim. Where light is, darkness is no longer to be feared, and all efforts of the dark spiritual forces are fruitless, for where the light has once found access to earth, there it cannot be extinguished eternally. The light radiates to earth, it emanates from God, the eternal light.... it is His emanation, thus visible evidence of His working of love and His strength of love.... The light is God’s word, the manifestation of Himself, Who wants to make Himself known to people. And this light can never be obscured by the forces of darkness, God’s word will never lose its truth and strength, it will always be a luminous signpost to Him for the creature which is still distant from Him but strives to come close to Him. And even if dark figures often flit across the path, the light is strong enough to chase them away, and the human being can fearlessly cover the path in the bright glow of the divine ray of light.... He is untouchable for those creatures, and he is protected by beings of light who guide him during his earthly life. Yet the path to ascent is difficult to pass and requires strength and endurance, although all obstacles are recognizable in the glow of light.... But the human being has to overcome this hardship, he has to fight step by step. But the light is at the same time strength-giving.... The word of God is a source of undreamt-of strength, and anyone who draws from it will never tire on his path through life, he will always be strengthened and able to meet all the demands which life's difficult path places on him. For God Himself is in the word with those who draw from the source of life, who hungrily receive His word, who want to refresh and strengthen themselves with it.... God Himself is the word, God is the light of eternity, God is the source of strength Who feeds everything with His strength that strives towards Him, that longs for light, for the nearness of God, and thus moves in the ray of light which flows from the spiritual kingdom to earth.... And every person will be permeated by this strength who takes refuge in His word, as He Himself has promised....

빛. 하나님의 말씀.

빛의 영역에서 빛이 이 땅의 어두움 속으로 끊임없이 비춘다. 빛의 비추임 안에 사는 사람은 어두움을 더 이상 두려워하지 않는다. 그럴지라도 어두운 존재가 높은 곳으로 향하는 길을 가는 사람들이 오류에 빠지도록 빛이 비추는 길을 어둡게 하려고 시도한다. 그러나 빛은 아주 밝아 어두운 존재가 이를 견딜 수 없고 빛의 힘 앞에 도망친다. 높은 곳을 향한 길이 목표를 달성하기 원하는 사람 앞에 다시 밝고 분명하게 보인다. 빛이 있는 곳에서는 더 이상 어두움을 두려워할 필요가 없다. 어두움의 영의 세력들의 모든 노력은 열매를 맺지 못한다. 왜냐면 빛이 한번 이 땅에 도달할 수 있게 된 곳은 영원히 이 빛을 끌 수 없기 때문이다. 빛이 이 땅을 비추고, 이 빛은 영원한 빛인 하나님으로부터 나온다. 빛은 하나님의 발산이다. 그러므로 하나님의 볼 수 있는 사랑의 역사이고, 하나님의 사랑의 힘이다.

빛은 하나님의 말씀이고, 사람들에게 자신을 알리기 원하는 하나님 자신의 표현이다. 이 빛은 절대로 어두움의 세력에 의해 어두워질 수 없다. 하나님의 말씀은 절대로 그 진리와 힘을 잃지 않을 것이다. 말씀은 항상 아직 하나님으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있지만, 그러나 하나님 가까이로 가기를 추구하는 피조물들을 위해 하나님께 향하는 밝은 길잡이가 될 것이다. 어두움의 존재가 자주 이 길을 가로 질러 지나갈지라도 빛은 그들을 물리칠만큼 강하고, 사람은 하나님의 빛의 밝은 광선 아래 두려움 없이 길을 갈 수 있다. 어두움의 존재가 사람을 침범할 수 없고, 사람은 자신의 이 땅의 삶 동안 자신을 인도하는 빛의 존재들에 의해 보호를 받는다. 그러나 높은 곳으로 향하는 길은 통과하기가 어렵고, 비록 빛의 비추임 가운데 모든 장애물을 볼 수 있을지라도, 힘과 인내가 필요하다. 인간은 이런 힘든 일을 극복해야만 하고, 한 걸음, 한 걸음 싸워 나가야만 한다. 그러나 빛은 또한 동시에 힘을 준다.

하나님의 말씀은 측량할 수 없는 힘의 원천이다. 이 원천에서 기르는 사람은 그의 삶의 길 가운데 절대로 지치지 않을 것이고, 그는 항상 강하게 되고, 힘든 이 땅의 길이 그에게 제시하는 모든 요구를 충족시킬 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님 자신이 생명의 샘에서 기르는 사람들과 말씀 안에서 함께 하기 때문이다. 그들은 굶주린 가운데 하나님의 말씀을 영접하고, 하나님의 말씀을 통해 자신을 쾌활하게 하고, 강하게 하기를 원한다. 하나님 자신이 말씀이다. 하나님은 영원의 빛이다. 하나님은 자신의 힘으로, 자신을 추구하고, 빛을 갈망하고, 하나님의 임재를 갈망하는, 그러므로 영의 나라로부터 이 땅으로 흐르는 빛의 광선 아래 거하는 모든 존재를 먹이는 힘의 근원이고, 하나님 자신이 약속한대로 하나님의 말씀을 도피처로 삼는 모든 사람이 이 힘으로 충만하게 될 것이다.
