Intercession by fellow human beings....

How unwise it is to bypass the direct connection with God and to want to make use of a fellow human being whose prayer is supposed to benefit him. God only respects prayer which is sent up to Him in deepest love for the neighbour, and the power of love is then used for the benefit of the needy. But every other prayer is useless. In His merciful love God sends suffering and adversity upon the human being in order to motivate him to entrust himself to Him without limits, in order to motivate him to establish the right relationship between a child and its father, because only then can the strength of divine love touch the human being's heart and through this influx of strength help his soul to develop spiritually. If this intimate connection is disregarded, then the influx of strength is only slight and also only guaranteed if the intercession for the fellow human being comes from a loving heart.... otherwise the human being will remain entirely without strength and his soul will have to starve. A person can never achieve the transformation of his fellow human being's nature but he has to be active himself, he has to turn his will towards God himself and make contact with Him in order to receive strength. Loving intercession is only useful for him insofar as strength is supplied to him which lifts his weakened will.... that he thus receives the strength through intercession to turn himself towards God. This supply of strength is the effect of the fellow human being's love; but without love every prayer is useless, for only profound love will cause a prayer to be sent to God in spirit and in truth, and then it will also be successful. God requires the connection with Him, which every human being can establish if he wants to. Anyone who relies on the prayer of a fellow human being is not yet doing God's will, and thus that prayer will also remain ineffective. The human being can achieve far more with a heartfelt sigh than a long prayer which lacks this heartfeltness, just as the heartfelt thought of God gives him more strength than a prayer of intercession by a fellow human being. But God evaluates the degree of love of the one who prays for his fellow human being, because love always gives strength and thus a loving intercession does not remain ineffective. And that is why again and again great suffering and bitter hardship befalls the individual person, because he should not forget Him Who alone can help him, because he should establish the right relationship which alone secures him the supply of strength from God, and because he has to become active himself in order to achieve success for his soul. And people should not forget that their fellow human beings can never take the responsibility away from them, that everyone has to take responsibility for himself and therefore also has to become active himself.... and that they can only carry out this activity with God's help, Whom they have to call upon in heartfelt prayer for strength and loving care so that they will reach their aim, so that their souls will mature on earth....

L'intervention à travers le prochain

Combien il est peu sage d’éviter le contact direct avec Dieu et vouloir se servir de la prière d’un prochain du fait que celle-ci pourrait lui être utile. Dieu s’occupe seulement de la prière qui Lui est envoyée dans le plus profond amour pour le prochain et la force d'amour est maintenant à l'avantage de celui qui en a besoin. Et toute autre prière est inutile. Dans Son Amour miséricordieux Dieu envoie sur l'homme de la souffrance et de la misère pour l’inciter de se confier à Lui-Même sans limite, pour le pousser à établir le juste rapport d'un fils envers le Père, parce que seulement alors la Force du divin Amour peut toucher le cœur de l'homme et son âme sera aidée à travers l'apport de Force à se développer spirituellement vers le Haut. Si cet intime contact est évité, alors l'apport de Force est seulement moindre et est assuré seulement lorsque l'intervention pour le prochain provient d’un cœur affectueux, autrement l'homme reste totalement sans force et son âme doit languir. Un homme ne peut jamais atteindre la transformation de l'être de son prochain, mais celui-ci doit aussi être actif, lui-même doit tourner sa volonté vers Dieu et se mettre en contact avec Lui pour pouvoir recevoir la Force. L'affectueuse intervention est utile pour lui seulement si elle lui apporte la Force qui relève sa volonté affaiblie, car à travers l'intervention elle reçoit la Force pour se tourner vers Dieu. Cet apport de Force est l'effet de l'amour du prochain ; mais sans amour toute prière est inutile, parce que seulement le profond amour aura l'effet d’une prière qui est envoyée à Dieu en Esprit et en Vérité et ensuite elle sera un succès. Dieu exige le contact avec Lui et chaque homme peut l’établir s’il le veut. Celui qui se confie à la prière du prochain, sa volonté n'est pas encore pour Dieu et ainsi cette prière restera inefficace. L'homme peut obtenir bien davantage avec un bref intime soupir qu'avec une longue prière à laquelle il manque cette intériorité, comme aussi une intime pensée tournée vers Lui procure beaucoup plus de Force qu'une prière d'intervention par le prochain. Mais Dieu évalue le degré d'amour de celui qui prie pour son prochain, parce que l'amour offre toujours la Force et donc une affectueuse intervention ne restera pas sans effet. Pour cette raison il vient toujours de nouveau de grandes souffrances et d’amères misères sur l'homme, parce qu'il ne doit pas oublier Celui qui Seul peut l'aider, parce qu'il doit établir le juste rapport avec Celui Qui Seul lui assure l'apport de la Force de Dieu, et parce que lui-même doit devenir actif pour pouvoir enregistrer du succès pour son âme. Les hommes ne doivent pas oublier que le prochain ne peut jamais lui enlever sa responsabilité, que chacun doit lui-même rendre compte et donc ils doivent donc être actifs sur eux-mêmes mais ils pourront exécuter cette activité seulement avec l'Aide de Dieu qu’ils doivent invoquer dans une intime prière pour obtenir la force et une affectueuse Assistance, pour qu'ils puissent atteindre leur but, pour que leur âme puisse mûrir sur la Terre.
