Godward will - upward development....

Everything spiritual which carries the will within itself to reach Me can only ascend in its development, for even temptations of all kinds will no longer change this will, because I draw the spiritual to Me and will eternally no longer let it sink back into the state of will turned away from Me. For as soon as the spiritual will strives towards Me in complete freedom the spell is broken; it has freed itself from My adversary, and its fight is now only aimed at regaining it, but I prevent it through My will. Admittedly, it is still a constant struggle of the spiritual which, embodied as a human being, has to cover earthly life, because ascent development always necessitates a struggle. But as soon as the will is meant for Me it also has the strength to resist the enemy of its soul. And it is the human being's own will which determines the time of ascent development and the spiritual success he can achieve at the end of his life. For the human being's striving towards Me must take place again in completely free will, although I prevent the adversary from binding his will and making it in bondage to him. A person with a will turned towards Me can never again sink into My adversary's control, yet he can completely escape from him faster or slower, thus he can spend longer or shorter periods of his life in battle with him. For as soon as his will becomes extraordinarily active and this activity is expressed as activity of love, the battle will also become easier, it will diminish in accordance with his activity of love.... For the opponent succumbs to this weapon.... And thus the human being safely escapes his power through loving activity, and his soul matures in a short time and in complete free will. I will never let him fall again, yet he must become lovingly active of his own accord, for My will withdraws so that his can develop freely for the sake of his perfection. And this is why the souls enter the spiritual kingdom in different degrees of maturity at the end of their life, even though they consciously strive towards Me, even though they carry the will turned towards Me within themselves, for I certainly prevent the adversary's superiority over them but I do not promote their spiritual ascent development through My will if they do not let their will become active themselves. The will turned towards Me always provides them with the strength to strive upwards, for I protectively hold My hand over every person who wants to escape My opposing power and has Me as his aim. I constantly draw him towards Me. And he will certainly reach his aim, only the length of time is determined by himself, because he has free will and can use it at his discretion....

Gott-zugewandter Wille - Aufwärtsentwicklung....

Alles Geistige, das den Willen in sich trägt, zu Mir zu gelangen, kann nur aufwärtssteigen in seiner Entwicklung, denn selbst Versuchungen aller Art werden diesen Willen nicht mehr wandeln, weil Ich das Geistige zu Mir ziehe und es ewiglich nicht mehr zurücksinken lasse in den Zustand des Mir-abgewandten Willens. Denn sowie der Wille des Geistigen in voller Freiheit Mich anstrebt, ist der Bann gebrochen; es hat sich frei gemacht von Meinem Gegner, und der Kampf dessen gilt nun nur noch der Rückgewinnung, die Ich aber verhindere durch Meinen Willen. Es ist zwar noch ein steter Kampf des Geistigen, das als Mensch verkörpert das Erdenleben zurücklegen muß, weil Aufwärtsentwicklung immer einen Kampf bedingt. Doch sowie der Wille Mir gilt, verfügt er auch über die Kraft zum Widerstand gegen den Feind seiner Seele. Und es ist der Wille des Menschen selbst bestimmend, in welcher Zeit die Aufwärtsentwicklung vor sich geht und welchen geistigen Erfolg er am Ende seines Lebens verzeichnen kann. Denn das Streben des Menschen nach Mir muß wieder im völlig freien Willen stattfinden, wenngleich Ich es verhindere, daß der Gegner seinen Willen bindet und ihm hörig macht. Es kann ein Mensch mit Mir zugewandtem Willen nie mehr absinken in die Gewalt Meines Gegners, jedoch schneller oder langsamer sich gänzlich ihm entwinden, also längere oder kürzere Zeit seines Lebens im Kampf stehen mit ihm. Denn sowie sein Wille außerordentlich tätig wird und diese Tätigkeit als Liebeswirken zum Ausdruck kommt, wird auch der Kampf leichter werden, er wird nachlassen entsprechend seiner Liebetätigkeit.... Denn dieser Waffe erliegt der Gegner.... Und also entwindet sich der Mensch seiner Macht sicher durch Wirken in Liebe, und seine Seele reifet in kurzer Zeit und im völlig freien Willen. Fallen lasse Ich ihn ewiglich nicht mehr, doch liebetätig muß er von selbst werden, denn Mein Wille zieht sich zurück, auf daß der seine sich frei entfalten kann um seiner Vollendung willen. Und darum gehen die Seelen in verschiedenen Reifegraden in das geistige Reich ein am Ende ihres Lebens, wenngleich sie Mir bewußt zustrebten, wenngleich sie den Mir zugewandten Willen in sich tragen, denn Ich verhindere wohl die Übermacht des Gegners über sie, fördere aber nicht ihre geistige Aufwärtsentwicklung durch Meinen Willen, so sie nicht selbst ihren Willen tätig werden lassen. Der Mir zugewandte Wille trägt ihnen stets die Kraft ein aufwärtszustreben, denn Ich halte schützend die Hand über jedem Menschen, der sich Meiner Gegenmacht entwinden will und Mich zum Ziel hat. Ich ziehe ihn unaufhörlich zu Mir. Und er wird auch sicherlich sein Ziel erreichen, nur die Zeitdauer bestimmet er selbst, weil er freien Willen hat und diesen nützen kann nach seinem Ermessen....
