The word enlivened by the spirit....

It is the spirit that gives life.... The word alone is dead if the spirit does not enliven it.... And if you hear the word as a dead word you cannot draw strength from it, for the strength is God's part which only expresses itself through the spirit. Yet the word is spiritually enlivened, that is, if you not only hear it with your ear but also with your heart, which contains the divine spirit, you will feel its strength, the word will speak to you and you will be filled with divine spiritual strength. The word alone only speaks to the intellect, but the spirit in the word speaks to the heart.... the word alone only has earthly value, but the word enlivened by the spirit will last for eternity. For the spirit is from God, and thus the word enlivened by the spirit is God’s word, whereas people certainly also have the word but it is only the product of intellect which passes away as soon as the human being as such passes away on earth. Dead word is everything that only touches the body but leaves the soul unimpressed; the spiritually enlivened word, however, is felt by the soul because it speaks to the spirit in the human being. The divine spirit makes contact with the spiritual spark in the human being and expresses itself to the soul in the word which, however, as spiritually enlivened, has the deepest effect on the human being whose spiritual spark has established contact with the father-spirit. And this word gives life, it awakens to life and can never be considered a dead word because it lets the person become active who listens to this word. God’s word will never be a dead word, only the life in it can remain unrecognized by the human being as long as he makes no effort to look for the spirit in it, for it only reveals itself to the seeking human being who, without any external influence, tries to penetrate the kingdom which is the home of the spirit, thus he unconsciously looks for the divine spirit.... and this spirit reveals itself through the living word.... through the word which the spirit of God conveys to the spiritual spark in the human being with great love, and thus this word must also become effective, for everything that lives is constantly active, and only activity testifies to life. But if the word is permeated by God's spirit then it can never remain without effect, and then its life becomes evident.

The word, which is enlivened by the spirit, therefore carries strength within itself and now remains effective for eternity, but only if it touches the human being's heart when it is received, not just the ear. It can indeed also be received intellectually but then it will not yet penetrate the human being's soul, for the latter only accepts that which is conveyed to it from within, from the spirit. But the word, which reaches the heart, establishes the connection with the spiritual spark in the human being, and thus the soul can then be instructed by it, thus receive the strength which lies in the living word. As long as people don't know the difference between heart and intellect it is incomprehensible to them that the human being receives profound knowledge from within. And therefore the word of God, which is truly blessed with His strength, can be offered countless times and yet it cannot emanate its strength because the human being does not open his heart, because the life of the word, the spirit, does not find access to the spiritual spark in the human being, and then the word, although it is alive, remains without effect and fades away like a dead word in people's ears, just like a word which is spoken without thought, which is not permeated by the life of the spirit. But as soon as a word is spoken in deep love, it is also alive. For love is God's strength which always awakens the spirit in a person. If the word of God, which is pure strength and love from God, is also offered by people who love and try to radiate their love to their fellow human beings, then it must also take effect on them, for the strength of love penetrates the shell of the spirit which is still dormant in the human being and awakens it to life.... The strength of the word now also brings about the activity of the spirit in the human being, for the strength of the word is the spirit of God's spirit which makes contact with the spiritual spark in the human being and then God's emanation can touch the human being's soul unhindered and gives the human being the ability and willingness to be active in God's will. But the heart must always open first, i.e. the human will must be ready for divine activity. And this is the purpose of the word of God, that it stimulates the human being's will by first being offered to the ear and the intellect, so that it then carries the life of the spirit within itself through the human being's will, so that it comes alive and works in and on the human being, so that he shapes himself according to God's will, so that he transforms his initially oppositional nature and shapes himself according to God's image.... so that he becomes love in order to be able to join the eternal love forever....

La Parola vivificata dallo Spirito

E’ lo Spirito che la vivifica. La Parola da sola è morta se non la vivifica lo Spirito. E quando la sentite come Parola morta, allora non ne potete nemmeno attingere nessuna Forza, perché la Forza è Parte di Dio che si manifesta solamente attraverso lo Spirito. Ma se la Parola è vivificata spiritualmente, cioè se non la sentite solamente con l’orecchio, ma con il cuore che cela in sé lo spirito divino, allora diventa percettibile anche come Forza, la Parola vi parlerà e sarete colmati dalla Forza dello Spirito divino. La Parola da sola parla soltanto all’intelletto, ma lo Spirito nella Parola al cuore, la Parola da sola ha soltanto un valore terreno, la Parola vivificata dallo Spirito però rimane esistente nell’Eternità, perché lo Spirito è da Dio e quindi la Parola vivificata dallo Spirito è la Parola di Dio, mentre gli uomini hanno bensì anche la parola, ma è soltanto il prodotto dell’intelletto che passa, appena l’uomo come tale scompare dalla Terra. Parola morta è tutto ciò che tocca soltanto il corpo, ma lascia l’anima intoccata; la Parola vivificata spiritualmente però viene sentita dall’anima, perché parla allo spirito nell’uomo. Lo Spirito divino entra in collegamento con la scintilla spirituale nell’uomo e si manifesta nei confronti dell’anima nella Parola, ma ciò che vivifica spiritualmente è del più profondo effetto per l’uomo la cui scintilla spirituale ha stabilito il collegamento con lo Spirito del Padre. E questa Parola dà Vita, risveglia alla Vita e non può mai più valere come parola morta, perché fa diventare attivo l’uomo che dà ascolto a questa Parola. La Parola di Dio non sarà mai parola morta, soltanto la vita in essa può rimanere sconosciuta all’uomo finché non si sforza di cercarvi lo Spirito, perché questo si manifesta soltanto all’uomo che cerca, che tenta senza qualsiasi influenza dall’esteriore di penetrare nel Regno che è la Patria dello spirito, che quindi cerca inconsapevolmente lo Spirito divino e questo si manifesta ora attraverso la Parola viva, attraverso la Parola che lo Spirito di Dio guida nel grande Amore alla scintilla spirituale nell’uomo e quindi questa Parola ora deve anche diventare efficace, perché tutto ciò che vive, è in costante attività e soltanto questa testimonia della Vita. Ma se la Parola è compenetrata dallo Spirito di Dio, allora non può mai più rimanere senza effetto ed allora si rivela la sua Vita. La Parola che è vivificata dallo Spirito, porta quindi in sé la Forza e rimane ora efficace in eterno, ma sempre soltanto, quando nell’accoglienza tocca il cuore dell’uomo e non soltanto l’orecchio. Essa può bensì anche essere accolta intellettualmente, ma allora non penetra ancora fino all’anima dell’uomo, perché questa riceve solamente ciò che le viene trasmesso dall’interiore, dallo spirito. Ma la Parola che penetra nel cuore, stabilisce il collegamento con la scintilla spirituale nell’uomo e di conseguenza l’anima può essere istruita da lui, quindi accogliere la Forza che si trova nella Parola viva. Finché gli uomini non conoscono la differenza del pensare di cuore e d’intelletto, per loro è incomprensibile che l’uomo riceva dall’interiore il profondo sapere. E perciò la Parola di Dio che è veramente benedetta con la Sua Forza, può essere offerta innumerevoli volte e non può comunque fare defluire la sua Forza, perché l’uomo non apre il suo cuore, perché la Vita della Parola, lo Spirito, non trova nessun accesso alla scintilla spirituale nell’uomo ed allora la Parola, anche se è viva, rimane senza effetto ed echeggia come una Parola morta oltre alle orecchie degli uomini, simile ad una parola che viene confabulata senza pensieri, che non è compenetrata dal Soffio della Vita dello Spirito. Ma appena una Parola viene pronunciata nel profondo amore, è anche viva, perché l’amore è la Forza di Dio che risveglia sempre lo spirito nell’uomo. Se ora la Parola di Dio che è pura Forza ed Amore da Dio, viene offerta anche da uomini che stanno nell’amore e cercano di irradiare il loro amore sui loro prossimi, allora deve anche diventare efficace su costoro, perché la Forza dell’amore compenetra l’involucro dello spirito che sonnecchia ancora nell’uomo e questo si risveglia alla Vita. La Forza della Parola opera ora l’attività dello spirito nell’uomo, perché la Forza della Parola è Spirito dallo Spirito di Dio che entra in collegamento con la scintilla spirituale nell’uomo ed ora l’Irradiazione di Dio può toccare direttamente l’anima dell’uomo e che dà all’uomo la facoltà e la volontarietà di essere attiva nella Volontà di Dio. Ma dapprima si deve sempre aprire il cuore, cioè la volontà umana dev’essere disposta per l’Agire divino. Ed è questo lo scopo della Parola di Dio, che stimoli la volontà dell’uomo mentre viene offerta prima all’orecchio e poi all’intelletto, affinché poi attraverso la volontà dell’uomo porti in sé la Vita dello Spirito, affinché diventi vivo ed agisce in e sull’uomo, affinché si formi secondo la Volontà di Dio, che cambi il suo essere inizialmente avverso e si formi secondo l’Immagine di Dio, che diventi amore per poter unirsi in eterno con l’eterno Amore.
