Law - Justice - Races.... Nations....

It is unworthy of a whole nation if it is not accountable to itself regarding its thoughts and actions. The conduct of a nation's people should be impeccable towards each other; but they should also observe the commandment of neighbourly love towards other nations, even if this is not to be understood such that actions and thoughts should extend to individual members but that all feelings and intentions towards another nation should be honourable and decent and not lack a feeling of justice, i.e. they should not be denied what the people of a nation claim for themselves. Law and justice should apply to all people, and the affiliation to a specific race or nation should not determine the actions implemented against them. God set no restriction when He gave people the commandment of neighbourly love, for every fellow human being shall be regarded as a brother, as God's living creation, who should also be treated with brotherly feelings. Hence, the human being should not impose this restriction himself, he should not think that he is entitled to exclude certain people from neighbourly love; he should practise the commandment of neighbourly love without distinction and thus also be accountable to himself when he disregards this commandment. And therefore he must be clear about his thoughts and actions as to how far they correspond to the divine commandments.... He cannot make different judgments at his pleasure and own discretion, he cannot sin against one person and believe his sin to be justified because he deems himself to belong to a different circle, which was drawn by racial or national affiliation.

This dividing line does not exist before God, before God all human beings are equal, and right and wrong remain right and wrong everywhere. It is not acceptable that the human being claims rights for himself which he denies to other people, and if people's thoughts become so misguided that they believe themselves to be right even when they act wrongly, then the human being's spiritual development has already sunk low, for then he places earthly life high above the latter, otherwise he would be unable to defend a way of thinking which arose from the striving for his own advantage.... Anything a human being requires for himself he must inevitably also grant to his fellow human being, and he should never ever set up his own laws if he does not want to fear that he will not be considered by God in a way he would like, but that he will be measured by the same yardstick he measured himself....

Il est indigne d'une nation entière de ne pas se sentir responsable de ses pensées et de ses actes. le peuple doit être irréprochable dans son comportement envers le prochain qui appartient à sa nation ; mais il doit aussi s'acquitter envers les autres nations du Commandement de l'amour pour le prochain, même si cela n'est pas à entendre de sorte que ses actes et ses pensées s'étendent à l'individu membre, mais les sentiments et la volonté vis-à-vis d’un autre peuple doivent être honorables et sincères, ils ne doivent pas manquer de sentiments de justice, c'est-à-dire ne pas nier quelque chose que ce peuple réclame pour lui-même. Le droit et la justice doivent régner vis-à-vis de tous les hommes et l'appartenance à une race ou à une nation déterminée ne doit pas être décisive pour les actions qui sont mises en œuvre vis-à-vis d’elles. Dieu n'a fait aucune restriction, lorsqu’Il a donné aux hommes le Commandement de l'amour pour le prochain, parce que chaque prochain doit être considéré comme un frère, comme une créature de Dieu à qui il doit aussi être donné un sentiment fraternel. Donc l'homme lui-même ne doit pas introduire cette restriction, il ne doit pas croire être justifié de pouvoir exclure certaines personnes de l'amour pour le prochain ; il doit exercer sans différence le Commandement de l'amour pour le prochain et donc aussi se rendre compte lorsqu’il néglige ce Commandement. Donc ses pensées et ses actes doivent être clairs pour évaluer jusqu’où ils correspondent au divin Commandement. Il ne peut pas juger autrement selon son plaisir ou son consentement, il ne peut pas pécher contre et se croire exempt d'un péché, parce qu'il estime être dans une autre communauté résultant d’une appartenance à une race ou à un peuple. Devant Dieu cette limitation n'existe pas, devant Dieu tous les hommes sont égaux, et le droit et l’injustice restent toujours et partout le droit et l’injustice. Il n'est pas admis que l'homme s'arroge lui-même un droit qu’il nie au prochain, et lorsque les pensées des hommes s’égarent de cette façon, lorsqu'ils pensent agir justement, bien qu’ils agissent injustement, alors l'homme est descendu bien bas dans son développement spirituel, parce qu'alors il met la vie terrestre par-dessus la vie spirituelle, autrement il ne pourrait pas soutenir des pensées qui sont nées de la tendance à son propre avantage. Ce que l'homme exige pour lui-même, il doit le concéder irrévocablement aussi au prochain, s'il ne veut pas craindre que lui-même ne soit pas récompensé par Dieu comme il le désire, mais qu’il lui soit mesuré selon la mesure avec laquelle il a mesuré.
