Self-overcoming.... strengthened will.... Christ's act of salvation....

A way of life according to the will of God requires great overcoming of oneself, thus a strong will. However, man cannot muster the strength of will on his own, since the will is often weakened to the point of complete lack of will due to the original sin through the former apostasy from God [here the sentence is changed in the manuscript as follows (sin of the former apostasy)]. Nevertheless, man can acquire the strength of will through heartfelt prayer to Jesus Christ, the divine redeemer.... This is the simplest yet surest means to defy all dangers, to be able to resist and to overcome oneself. And the weakest will will become strong, for this is what Jesus Christ died for on the cross.... With His death He bought people a strengthened will, and everyone may request this strengthened will who believes in Him and His act of salvation. The former sin bore man's weakened will.... Jesus Christ took upon Himself the sins of the world and thus also the consequence of sin.... the weak will. He redeemed the guilt of those who acknowledge His sacrifice, and thus He restores to them the strengthened will by virtue of which they can now lead a way of life according to God's will. It is a grace which He acquired for people on the cross which people are unable to grasp, for what lies helpless and weak on the ground can rise up and now work on itself full of strength and power; His will is strong, and a strong will is able to do anything.... However, free will remains untouched, for the grace of the act of salvation is only granted to it if it expresses its will to ascend through heartfelt prayer to Jesus Christ. Weakness of will need not prevent him from striving towards God, it is just that the human being cannot muster the perseverance to do so. And therefore he should appeal for a strong will for the sake of Jesus Christ, and his appeal will be heard as soon as he acknowledges Jesus Christ. And then he will be able to wage the battle against the world, which is expressed in the overcoming of himself. He has to renounce everything that belongs to the world, what his body desires, he has to sacrifice, i.e. give to his neighbour, what makes him happy, he has to put himself aside and do kindness to his fellow human beings, and all this requires overcoming, it requires a strong will which puts all good intentions into action. But this strong will can be requested at any time, and this prayer will never go unanswered....

L'autodépassement – la volonté renforcée - l'Œuvre de Libération du Christ

Un changement de vie selon la Volonté de Dieu demande un grand dépassement de soi-même, donc une forte volonté. Mais l'homme ne réussit pas à avoir tout seul cette force de volonté, étant donné qu’à cause du péché héréditaire engendré par la chute d'un temps de Dieu, la volonté est affaiblie souvent jusqu'à une totale absence de volonté. Mais l'homme peut de toute façon s'approprier de la force de volonté au moyen d’une intime prière à Jésus Christ, le divin Rédempteur. Cela est le moyen le plus simple et le plus sûr, pour affronter tous les dangers, pour leur prêter résistance et pour pouvoir se dépasser soi-même. Et la volonté la plus faible deviendra la plus forte, parce que pour cela Jésus Christ est mort sur la Croix. Avec Sa mort Il a acquis une volonté fortifiée pour les hommes, et tous ceux qui croient en Lui et en Son Œuvre de Libération, peuvent demander cette volonté renforcée. Le péché d'un temps a procuré aux hommes une volonté affaiblie. Jésus Christ a pris sur Lui les péchés du monde et ainsi aussi la conséquence du péché, la faible volonté. Il a éteint la faute pour ceux qui reconnaissent Son Sacrifice et ainsi Il leur rend une volonté fortifiée, grâce à laquelle ils peuvent maintenant dérouler le changement de vie selon la Volonté de Dieu. C’est une Grâce qu'Il a conquise sur la Croix pour les hommes mais que ceux-ci ne sont pas en mesure de saisir, parce qu’ils gisent au sol sans défense et faible mais maintenant ils peuvent se soulever et travailler sur eux plein de Force et de Vigueur ; leur volonté est forte, et une volonté forte peut tout. Mais la libre volonté reste intacte, parce que maintenant il leur revient grâce à l'Œuvre de Libération de déclarer leur volonté pour Jésus Christ dans une intime prière et d'arriver en haut. La faiblesse de volonté ne doit pas empêcher l'homme de tendre vers Dieu, seulement il n'en a pas la persévérance et donc il doit demander une forte volonté à Jésus Christ, et sa prière sera satisfaite, dès qu’il Le reconnaît. Et alors il réussira à mener la lutte contre le monde ce qui se manifeste par le dépassement de lui-même. Il doit s'éloigner de tout ce qui appartient au monde, de ce que désire son corps, il doit se sacrifier, c'est-à-dire donner au prochain ce qui le rend lui-même heureux, il doit se mettre lui-même en retrait et faire de bien au prochain, mais tout cela demande un dépassement, demande une forte volonté qui transforme en action toutes les bonnes intentions. Et cette forte volonté peut être demandée à tout instant, et cette prière ne restera jamais inécoutée.
