Spiritual activity must precede earthly activity....

You must be fully active for the kingdom of God. You must not put earthly activity before spiritual activity but always bear in mind that you want to serve God and therefore should fulfil His mission first before you think of the world and its demands. Every hour you devote to this spiritual task will earn you more blessings than your earthly activity can ever achieve. But in this one you will find support so that you will also master it without difficulty. Time is hurrying by, the spiritual battle is becoming increasingly more difficult, the earthly adversity is growing, and people are increasingly falling away from God and must be made aware of the consequences, they must be admonished and warned, and God has called you to speak on His behalf, to enlighten people and to try to guide their gaze into the spiritual kingdom. And therefore you must be constantly active and not let anything hold you back but always remain in contact with God and receive instructions from Him. You should not fear that you will neglect another task, for beings of light are constantly at your side which guide your earthly work and enable you to carry it out without resistance. But spiritually they support you to a far greater extent, and you must pay attention to their wise admonitions and not resist them if they urge you to spiritual activity by causing other thoughts to arise in you in a flash which are to stimulate you to spiritual activity. Surrender yourselves daily to the care of the heavenly father and pay attention to what the voice of the heart urges you to do. Detach yourselves from earth from time to time and turn to Him in prayer, Whose servant you want to be.... Increase your strength by receiving His word, whether directly or through mediation, surrender yourselves to its effect, and then set about the day's work and it will be blessed....

And even if you create and work on earth, without God's blessing nothing you start will succeed. But as soon as God blesses your activity it will be easy for you. But God's blessing is certain for you if you are first active for the kingdom of God, if you put your spiritual work before your earthly work, if you first consider your soul before you give your body its right. God needs you, who want to work for Him as His servants on earth, and He presents you with tasks whose fulfilment is incumbent upon you and dependent on your free will. And you should take this task seriously and not become lukewarm and lazy, for every day is significant and can bring great blessings to you and your fellow human beings if it is used spiritually in the right way. But if the world is put before this task then time will pass uselessly for the souls, for earthly achievements are worthless for eternity; earthly life, however, can end very quickly, and every earthly success is futile in view of death. Spiritual work, on the other hand, carries eternal values.... And you should always bear this in mind if you are undecided about which activity you should tackle. Use every hour and serve God by devoting yourselves to Him and accepting His word, by working for Him and for His kingdom, by instructing your fellow human beings and informing them of God's will.... And your spiritual as well as your earthly activity will earn you God's blessing, and you will be successful in whatever you start....

L’attività spirituale deve precedere quella terrena

Dovete essere pienamente attivi per il Regno di Dio. Non dovete preporre l’attività terrena a quella spirituale, ma dovete sempre ricordarvi che volete servire Dio e perciò dovete adempiere il Suo Incarico, prima che pensiate al mondo ed alle sue pretese. Ogni ora che dedicate a questo compito spirituale, vi apporterà una benedizione più ricca che possa mai raggiungere la vostra attività terrena. Ma in questa troverete il sostegno, affinché possiate svolgere anche questo senza difficoltà. Il tempo corre, la lotta spirituale diventa sempre più difficile, la miseria terrena s’ingrandisce e gli uomini cadono sempre di più da Dio ed a loro devono essere indicate le conseguenze, devono essere ammoniti ed avvertiti e per questo Dio vi ha chiamati, affinché parliate al Posto Suo, che chiariate agli uomini e cerchiate di guidare il loro sguardo nel Regno spirituale. E perciò dovete essere continuamente attivi e non lasciarvi trattenere da nulla, ma sempre rimanere in contatto con Dio ed accogliere da Lui le Indicazioni. Non dovete temere che con ciò trascuriate un altro lavoro, perché al vostro fianco stanno degli esseri di Luce che guidano il vostro lavoro terreno e vi rendono capaci di eseguirlo senza resistenza. Ma vi sostengono spiritualmente nella misura molto più ampia, e dovete dare considerazione alle loro ammonizioni e non ribellarvi, quando vi inducono all’attività spirituale, mentre lasciano sorgere in voi fulmineamente altri pensieri che vi devono stimolare all’attività spirituale. Affidatevi giornalmente alla Provvidenza del Padre celeste e badate a ciò a cui vi spinge la voce del cuore. Staccatevi più sovente dalla Terra e rivolgetevi a Lui nella preghiera, di Cui volete essere i servi. Aumentate la vostra forza tramite l’accoglimento della Sua Parola, sia questa diretta oppure tramite la trasmissione, datevi al suo effetto e poi recatevi all’opera giornaliera e sarà benedetta. E per quanto creiate ed agiate sulla Terra, senza la Benedizione di Dio nulla riuscirà di ciò che iniziate. Ma appena Dio benedice la vostra attività, questa scorre anche facilmente, ma la Benedizione di Dio vi è certa, da quando siete attivi per il Regno di Dio, quando preponete il lavoro spirituale davanti a quello terreno, se dapprima pensate alla vostra anima, piuttosto di assecondare al corpo il suo diritto. Dio ha bisogno di voi che volete lavorare per Lui come Suoi servitori sulla Terra, ed Egli vi mette davanti a dei compiti, il cui assolvimento vi spetta e che dipende dalla vostra volontà. E dovete prendere sul serio questo compito e non diventare tiepidi e trascurati, perché ogni giorno è significativo e può portare una grande Benedizione a voi ed ai vostri prossimi, se viene sfruttato bene spiritualmente. Se però a questo compito viene preposto il mondo, allora per le vostre anime il tempo trascorre inutilmente, perché ciò che è stato conquistato terrenamente è inutile per l’Eternità; ma la vita terrena può finire molto presto, ed ogni successo terreno è caduco in vista della morte. Il lavoro spirituale invece vi riporta dei valori per l’Eternità. E dovete sempre pensare a questo, quando siete indecisi quale attività dovete iniziare. Sfruttate ogni ora e servite Dio, dandovi a Lui ed accogliendo la Sua Parola, lavorando per Lui ed il Suo Regno, insegnando ai vostri prossimi e dando loro l’annuncio della Volontà di Dio. E sia la vostra attività spirituale come quella terrena vi riporterà la Benedizione di Dio ed avrete successo in ciò che intraprendete.
