Teacher responsibility.... truth....

The person who offers to impart spiritual knowledge to his fellow human being takes upon himself an immense responsibility, for he is then not responsible for his fellow human being's earthly life but for that of the soul, which is immortal, which can attain eternal life through its will if the right knowledge is imparted but can also fall prey to spiritual death if error is imparted. And therefore the one who wants to teach must first stand in the truth in order to be able to spread it.... he himself must know about the great danger that spreading false teachings means for the soul. And he must know and also fulfill all preconditions which guarantee him the pure truth. God Himself imparts this knowledge to him if he is of serious will. He instructs him in the most comprehensible way as soon as it is His will to bring the truth to his fellow human beings for the salvation of their souls. But he must also be aware of the responsible task he has taken on so that he constantly strives for the pure truth in order to be able to receive it. Thus the human being must carry out his ministry fully consciously, he must be so moved by the truth himself that he is urged to pass it on to his fellow human beings, he must not become lukewarm and lethargic because this would weaken his desire for truth and thus signify danger. The person who wants to teach has, so to speak, the spiritual fate of those who receive knowledge from him in his hands, and he must remain mindful of this during his teaching activity. That is why the conviction must first take root in his heart, he must himself penetrate so deeply into the truth that he can also represent it fully and completely to his fellow human beings. And only this state enables him to work for God, and it is the result of a will fully turned towards God. Through unconditional devotion to God he will now change himself such that he can become the bearer of light, of pure truth from God. The will must emanate from the human being himself, then he will also receive the strength from God to put the will into action. Thus the human being who has the salvation of his fellow human beings' souls at heart will also be able to help them, he will be able to teach them by imparting the spiritual knowledge to himself which he can then pass on. The teaching activity should not be understood as a profession in the earthly sense, but in complete unselfishness fellow human beings should be offered what God has previously offered to the teacher himself, he should only be driven by love for God and for his neighbor, for the unredeemed human being, and this will only be the case if he himself knows about the human being's task on earth, that is, if he has been qualified to receive the truth from God through his own God-pleasing way of life and a will completely subordinate to God. Then he will take his teaching ministry seriously and only strive to expand his knowledge in order to pass it on to his fellow human beings unchanged. Then he will also be aware of his responsibility and seriously strive for truth of his own accord, and then he can also safely impart the spiritual knowledge he has received to those who desire it, he can teach love to those who are still ignorant and thereby guide them onto the right path which leads to God, to eternal life. And therefore only the human being who knows no other goal than to serve God and who reveals this to Him through his constant will to receive spiritual possessions, who therefore constantly and permanently maintains the connection with God and is now introduced by Him into the right knowledge, into the truth from God....

Verantwortung der Lehrenden.... Wahrheit....

Eine ungeheure Verantwortung nimmt der Mensch auf sich, der sich erbietet, den Mitmenschen geistiges Wissen zu vermitteln, denn er trägt dann nicht die Verantwortung für dessen irdisches Leben, sondern für das der Seele, die unvergänglich ist, die bei Vermittlung des rechten Wissens sich durch ihren Willen das ewige Leben erringen kann, aber auch bei Vermittlung des Irrtums dem geistigen Tode verfallen kann. Und darum muß der Lehren-Wollende zuerst in der Wahrheit stehen, um diese verbreiten zu können.... er muß selbst um die große Gefahr wissen, die das Verbreiten von Irrlehren für die Seele bedeutet. Und er muß alle Vorbedingungen kennen und auch erfüllen, die ihm die reine Wahrheit gewährleisten. Dieses Wissen vermittelt ihm Gott Selbst, so er ernsten Willens ist. Er belehret ihn in der faßlichsten Weise, sowie es sein Wille ist, den Mitmenschen die Wahrheit zu bringen zum Heil ihrer Seelen. Er muß sich aber auch dessen bewußt sein, welche verantwortungsreiche Aufgabe er übernommen hat, damit er unentwegt nur die reine Wahrheit anstrebt, um sie nun auch empfangen zu können. Also es muß der Mensch sein Amt vollbewußt ausführen, es muß ihn selbst die Wahrheit so bewegen, daß es ihn drängt, sie den Mitmenschen weiterzugeben, er darf nicht lau und träge werden, weil dies sein Wahrheitsverlangen schwächt und also eine Gefahr bedeutet. Es hat der Lehren-Wollende gewissermaßen das seelische Los derer in der Hand, die von ihm das Wissen entgegennehmen, und dessen muß er eingedenk bleiben während seiner lehrenden Tätigkeit. Darum muß die Überzeugung erst in seinem Herzen Wurzeln schlagen, er muß selbst so tief eindringen in die Wahrheit, daß er sie voll und ganz vertreten kann auch den Mitmenschen gegenüber. Und dieser Zustand erst befähigt ihn zum Wirken für Gott, und er ist die Folge eines Gott voll und ganz zugewandten Willens. Durch die bedingungslose Hingabe an Gott wird er sich nun so wandeln, daß er zum Träger des Lichtes, der reinen Wahrheit aus Gott, werden kann. Der Wille muß vom Menschen selbst ausgehen, dann geht ihm von Gott auch die Kraft zu, den Willen in die Tat umzusetzen. Also wird der Mensch, dem das Seelenheil der Mitmenschen am Herzen liegt, auch fähig werden, diesen zu helfen, er wird fähig werden, sie zu belehren, indem ihm selbst das geistige Gut vermittelt wird, das er nun weiterleiten kann. Es soll die lehrende Tätigkeit nicht als ein Beruf aufgefaßt werden im irdischen Sinne, sondern in vollster Uneigennützigkeit soll den Mitmenschen das geboten werden, was Gott zuvor dem Lehrenden Selbst geboten hat, ihn soll nur die Liebe zu Gott und zum Nächsten, zu dem unerlösten Menschen, antreiben, lehrend tätig zu sein, und dies wird nur dann der Fall sein, wenn er selbst um die Aufgabe des Menschen auf Erden weiß, wenn er also durch eigenen Gott-gefälligen Lebenswandel und einen Gott völlig untergeordneten Willen gewürdigt wurde, die Wahrheit von Gott zu empfangen. Dann nimmt er sein Lehramt ernst, und er strebt nur danach, sein Wissen zu erweitern, um es an den Mitmenschen unverändert weiterzugeben. Dann wird er auch sich der Verantwortung bewußt sein und von sich aus ernstlich streben nach Wahrheit, und dann kann er auch unbedenklich das empfangene geistige Gut vermitteln denen, die es begehren, er kann Liebe lehren denen, die noch unwissend sind, und sie dadurch auf den rechten Weg leiten, der zu Gott, zum ewigen Leben führt. Und darum kann als Lehrender nur der Mensch in Betracht kommen, der kein anderes Ziel kennt, als Gott zu dienen, und Ihm dies durch seinen ständigen Willen kundgibt, geistiges Gut zu empfangen, der also stets und ständig die Verbindung mit Gott aufrechterhält und nun von Ihm eingeführt wird in das rechte Wissen, in die Wahrheit aus Gott....
