Higher development in the hereafter.... working of love....

With the last embodiment as a human being the soul completes its course of development on earth and enters a new phase of development, which now only takes place spiritually and again according to the soul's will. Thus, in the beyond, just as on earth, the soul's will determines its relationship to love, for love is also the only path to progress in the spiritual kingdom. love, however, can only be practiced on other souls.... Souls in need of help must also cross a soul's path in the beyond to whom it can turn its willingness to help, otherwise it would never be able to mature spiritually. But the souls' plight in the beyond consists of the fact that they walk along in complete ignorance, in spiritual darkness, and according to their ignorance their surroundings are also desolate, poor and very distressing and they now feel unhappy and abandoned. And now the beings can help them, whose degree of maturity is higher, and reduce their misery by informing them of their state and of the possibility of an improvement of their situation. The soul must take the other souls' hardship to heart, it must try to encourage them to think, it must try to influence their will to undergo a task, and it must inform the soul that only the lack of love makes them suffer and that they can only attain a freer life in the beyond through loving activity and that this is also the only way to attain the degree of maturity in the beyond which was not achieved on earth. If the soul is willing, then it will also feel happiness in every little deed of love. It does not help the compassionate souls because it thereby improves its own state, but it does so from within only out of the urge to help them, and in the same proportion it itself is introduced to a deeper knowledge, which it now also learns to recognize through its activity of love. And now it constantly ascends, for it feels great happiness in every activity of love, and its state thereby becomes ever brighter and freer, it develops upwards because its own will has decided to be lovingly active and this is the only way to still reach maturity in the beyond....

Lo sviluppo verso l’Alto nell’aldilà – L’agire d’amore

Con l’ultima incorporazione come uomo l’anima conclude il suo percorso di sviluppo sulla Terra ed entra in una nuova fase dello sviluppo, che ora procede soltanto in modo spirituale, e cioè di nuovo secondo la volontà dell’anima. Quindi nell’aldilà è determinante la volontà dell’anima proprio come sulla Terra, in quale rapporto sta verso l’amore, perché anche nel Regno spirituale l’amore è l’unica via al progresso. L’amore però può nuovamente soltanto essere esercitato su altre anime. Anche nell’aldilà delle anime bisognose d’aiuto devono incrociare la via di un’anima, alle quali lei può rivolgere la sua prontezza d’aiuto, altrimenti non potrebbe mai più maturare spiritualmente. La situazione di miseria delle anime nell’aldilà però consiste nel fatto che queste camminano nella totale ignoranza, nell’oscurità del loro spirito e rispetto alla loro non conoscenza è anche il loro ambiente, sconfortante, misero e che le tormenta molto e che ora si sentono infelici ed abbandonate. Ed ora gli esseri possono assisterle aiutando ad aumentare il loro grado di maturità e per diminuire la loro miseria, dando loro conoscenza del loro stato e della possibilità di un miglioramento della loro situazione. La miseria delle altre anime deve entrare nel cuore dell’anima, deve cercare di stimolarle al pensare, deve cercare di influenzare la volontà di costoro, affinché si sottopongano ad un compito e le deve mettere al corrente che soltanto la mancanza d’amore le fa soffrire e che possono giungere ad una vita più libera nell’aldilà attraverso l’attività nell’amore e che questa è anche l’unica via per raggiungere il grado di maturità non raggiunto sulla Terra. Se ora l’anima è volenterosa, allora lei stessa sente una felicità in ogni pur minima attività d’amore. Non aiuta le anime che soffrono come lei soltanto perché così migliora il suo proprio stato, ma lo fa soltanto dalla spinta interiore di aiutarle, e nello stesso rapporto lei stessa viene introdotta in un sapere più profondo, che ora impara anche a riconoscere attraverso il suo agire nell’amore. Ed ora sale costantemente verso l’Alto, perché sente una grande felicità in ogni attività d’amore, ed il suo stato da ciò diventa sempre più chiaro e più libero, si sviluppa verso l’Alto, perché la propria volontà si è decisa per l’attività d’amore e questa è l’unica via di giungere anche nell’aldilà ancora alla maturità.
