The path to eternal bliss....

The path to eternal bliss is arduous and difficult for people who are weak-willed. Again and again they must struggle and ask God for strength to strengthen their will, again and again they must try to detach themselves from the world and its charms, for only a heavenward gaze makes the ascent to the heights easy and effortless. As soon as man always keeps the goal in mind, the union with eternal love, all earthly pleasures fade and man no longer looks back. For at the end of the path the father spreads out His arms and lovingly draws His child to His heart, and all hardships, all difficulties, all struggles and confusion are over, they have sunk into nothingness in view of the glories that now await the earthly child. And the earthly path only lasts a short time.... Soon all suffering will be overcome, while on the other hand the earthly joys will also pass and the time of earthly happiness is also only short, only to be exchanged for a joyless, meagre time in the beyond, if the earthly child's struggle and will was not directed towards union with God during earthly life. His path was neither stony nor thorny; he chose the broad path, which, however, led far from the goal. He forfeited eternal glory for hours of enjoying earthly pleasures because his will was too weak to seriously strive upwards and to take hardship and obstacles upon himself during his earthly life. You humans only have to keep the goal in mind, then you will walk the path of hardship without grumbling and complaining, at the end of which the valley of eternal peace awaits you. And the path will become easy for you if you constantly pray for strength, you will be able to receive refreshment and strengthening from the hand of the heavenly father Who wants to lead His children back to Himself, into the father's house.... He will not leave you unprovided for, He Himself will be your support and guide on the narrow path upwards, He will lead you safely over all dangers and cliffs, and His love will surround you and protect you from falling. And if only you see Him, you will feel neither obstacles nor hardship, you will walk lightly over them because you are carried by His love.... And therefore you should not become discouraged if you feel anxious as to whether you will be able to walk the path undeterred. Only your will has to be prepared to strive towards the goal, you have to set the union with God as your goal and, feeling your weakness, you have to sincerely pray to Him for an influx of strength.... Then you will also be seized by His love and guided with complete certainty.... The path upwards cannot offer earthly pleasures, it cannot be covered like a walk, for the goal can only be reached by renouncing those, and this requires self-conquest and a firm will, it requires constant struggle and longing for God.... Only then will you not find the path so arduous, you will walk it full of faith that God will come to meet you, that He Himself will guide you and stand by you in every danger.... But only one thing is necessary, that your will is turned towards Him, that you strive to reach Him as well as your goal, that you push towards Him in love and He can therefore draw you to Himself forever....

Der Weg zur ewigen Seligkeit....

Der Weg zur ewigen Seligkeit ist mühsam und beschwerlich für die Menschen, die schwachen Willens sind. Immer wieder müssen sie ringen und Gott um Kraft bitten, daß Er ihren Willen stärke, immer wieder müssen sie sich zu lösen versuchen von der Welt und ihren Reizen, denn nur ein himmelwärts gewandter Blick macht den Aufstieg zur Höhe leicht und mühelos. Sowie sich der Mensch stets das Ziel vor Augen hält, die Vereinigung mit der ewigen Liebe, verblassen alle irdischen Freuden, und es wendet der Mensch keinen Blick mehr zurück. Denn am Ende des Weges breitet der Vater Seine Arme aus und ziehet Sein Kind liebevoll an Sein Herz, und alle Mühsale, alle Beschwernisse, alle Kämpfe und Wirrnisse sind überstanden, sie sind in ein Nichts versunken angesichts der Herrlichkeiten, die das Erdenkind nun erwarten. Und es währet der Erdenweg nur kurze Zeit.... Bald ist alles Leid überwunden, während andererseits auch die irdischen Freuden vergehen und auch die Zeit irdischen Glückes nur kurz ist, um dann mit einer freudlosen, dürftigen Zeit im Jenseits vertauscht zu werden, so das Ringen und der Wille des Erdenkindes nicht der Vereinigung mit Gott galt während des Erdenlebens. Dessen Weg war weder steinig noch dornig, er hat den breiten Weg gewählt, der aber weitab vom Ziel führte. Er hat sich die ewige Herrlichkeit verscherzt um Stunden des Genusses irdischer Freuden, weil sein Wille zu schwach war, ernstlich nach oben zu streben und Mühsale und Hindernisse auf sich zu nehmen während seines Erdenlebenswandels. Nur das Ziel müßt ihr Menschen euch vor Augen halten, dann werdet ihr ohne Murren und Klagen den Weg der Entbehrungen gehen, an dessen Ende euch das Tal des ewigen Friedens erwartet. Und es wird euch der Weg leicht werden, so ihr unentwegt bittet um Kraft, ihr werdet Labung und Stärkung entgegennehmen können aus der Hand des himmlischen Vaters, Der Seine Kinder zu Sich, ins Vaterhaus zurückleiten will.... Er wird euch nicht unversorgt lassen, Er Selbst wird euch Stütze und Führer sein auf dem schmalen Weg zur Höhe, Er wird euch sicher hinweggeleiten über alle Fährnisse und Klippen, und Seine Liebe wird euch umhegen und euch schützen vor dem Fall. Und so ihr Ihn nur ersehnet, spüret ihr weder Hindernisse noch Mühsale, ihr schreitet leichten Fußes darüber hinweg, denn ihr werdet getragen von Seiner Liebe.... Und darum sollt ihr nicht mutlos werden, so euch eine Bangigkeit befällt, ob ihr den Weg unbeirrt werdet gehen können. Nur euer Wille muß bereit sein, dem Ziel zuzustreben, ihr müsset die Vereinigung mit Gott euch zum Ziel setzen, und ihr müsset im Gefühl eurer Schwäche Ihn innig bitten um Zuwendung von Kraft.... Dann werdet ihr auch von Seiner Liebe erfaßt und ganz sicher geleitet.... Der Weg zur Höhe kann nicht irdische Freuden bieten, er kann nicht zurückgelegt werden wie ein Spazierweg, denn das Ziel ist nur zu erreichen unter Verzichtleistung jener, und es gehört dazu Selbstüberwindung und fester Wille, es gehört dazu dauerndes Ringen und Verlangen nach Gott.... Dann nur werdet ihr den Weg nicht so beschwerlich finden, ihr werdet ihn gehen voll des Glaubens, daß Gott euch entgegenkommt, daß Er Selbst euch führt und euch beisteht in jeder Gefahr.... Doch eines nur tut not, daß euer Wille Ihm zugewandt ist, daß ihr strebet, Ihn sowie euer Ziel zu erreichen, daß ihr in Liebe Ihm entgegendrängt und Er euch also zu Sich ziehen kann auf ewig....
