Proximity to God.... view of God....

Your will should be to draw near to Him Whom all the angels in heaven serve, Whom they praise and honor for all eternity.... For His nearness is eternal bliss, His nearness is the most desirable thing, which should be your only goal. You do not know what you have deprived yourselves of, what you have lost through your former apostasy from God, you also do not know what endless long path you already had to cover in the distance from God in order to now be admitted again to the final test of your will, which is to acquire the closeness to God for you again.... And that is why you are so indifferent and sluggish when you should be striving diligently and eagerly for perfection. For you must become perfect if you want to be worthy of God's closeness. You have to work on yourselves so that you become love, so that you thereby assimilate yourselves to eternal love and reduce the distance from Him as long as you still dwell on earth. The closeness to God is the most blissful state, and on earth you do not realize what delights it brings you. Light and strength is your share, because His nearness radiates light and strength and you can receive light and strength in all fullness when you dwell in the nearness of God. Only then will you recognize with what merciful love God has cared for you and how this His love constantly wanted to lift you up so that you could reach His view. But you are to long for Him without knowing about the glories and the delights of closeness to God, you are to strive towards Him of your own free will, the love of the heart is to impel you to selfless activity so that you approach the one from Whose love you emerged. divine spirit and divine love should flow through you, then the distance from God is abolished, you are again one with eternal love, with your creator, Who constantly wooed you because He did not want to lose you. And if you are one with Him you must also be permeated by His radiance of love and your life must be a glorious one, a state of perfection which now lasts forever.... Being close to God is tantamount to possessing power and strength.... to be able to create and shape at one's own discretion and to constantly receive the power to do so from God without restriction.... For God perpetually radiates His strength, and He continuously favors the beings with it who are allowed to dwell in His presence because they are perfect, because the will strives for perfection, thus the will has brought it about that they found the union with God. For the will once turned away from God; it now has to pursue its goal with all firmness, it has to strive towards God and only know the one goal as long as the human being lives on earth.... he must seek to come close to God in order to attain His view....

Gottnähe.... Anschauung Gottes....

Euer Wille soll sein, euch Dem zu nähern, Dem alle Engel im Himmel dienen, Den sie lobpreisen und ehren bis in alle Ewigkeit.... Denn Seine Nähe ist ewige Glückseligkeit, Seine Nähe ist das Erstrebenswerteste, das euer einziges Ziel sein soll. Ihr wisset nicht, wessen ihr euch selbst beraubt habt, wessen ihr verlustig gegangen seid durch euren einstigen Abfall von Gott, ihr wißt auch nicht, welchen endlos langen Weg ihr in der Gottferne schon zurücklegen mußtet, um nun wieder zugelassen zu werden zur letzten Erprobung eures Willens, der euch die Gottnähe wieder erwerben soll.... Und darum seid ihr so gleichgültig und träge, wo ihr emsig und voll Eifer streben solltet nach Vollkommenheit. Denn ihr müsset vollkommen werden, wollet ihr der Nähe Gottes gewürdigt werden. Ihr müsset arbeiten an euch, auf daß ihr zur Liebe werdet, auf daß ihr euch dadurch der ewigen Liebe angleichet und die Entfernung von Ihm verringert, solange ihr noch auf Erden weilt. Die Gottnähe ist der seligste Zustand, und auf Erden fasset ihr nicht, welche Wonnen er euch einträgt. Licht und Kraft ist euer Anteil, weil Seine Nähe Licht und Kraft ausstrahlt und ihr in aller Fülle Licht und Kraft aufnehmen könnt, so ihr in der Nähe Gottes weilet. Dann erst werdet ihr erkennen, mit welcher erbarmenden Liebe Gott euch betreut hat und wie diese Seine Liebe euch ständig emporheben wollte, auf daß ihr zu Seiner Anschauung gelangen konntet. Ihr aber sollt zu Ihm verlangen, ohne um die Herrlichkeiten und die Wonnen der Gottnähe zu wissen, ihr sollt aus freiem Willen Ihm zustreben, die Liebe des Herzens soll euch antreiben zu selbstlosem Wirken, auf daß ihr euch Dem nähert, aus Dessen Liebe ihr hervorgegangen seid. Göttlicher Geist und göttliche Liebe sollen euch durchfluten, dann ist die Gottferne aufgehoben, ihr seid wieder eins mit der ewigen Liebe, mit eurem Schöpfer, Der ständig um euch geworben hat, weil Er euch nicht verlieren wollte. Und so ihr eins seid mit Ihm, müsset ihr auch von Seiner Liebeglut durchstrahlt werden, und euer Leben muß ein herrliches sein, ein Zustand der Vollkommenheit, der nun ewig währet.... In Gottnähe zu weilen ist gleichbedeutend mit Macht- und Kraftbesitz.... schaffen und gestalten zu können nach eigenem Ermessen und ständig die Kraft dazu von Gott entgegennehmen zu können ohne Beschränkung.... Denn Gott strahlet immerwährend Seine Kraft aus, und Er beglücket fortgesetzt die Wesen damit, die in Seiner Nähe weilen dürfen, weil sie vollkommen sind, weil der Wille die Vollkommenheit angestrebt, also der Wille es zuwege gebracht hat, daß sie den Zusammenschluß fanden mit Gott. Denn der Wille wandte sich einst von Gott ab; er muß nun sein Ziel mit aller Festigkeit verfolgen, er muß Gott zustreben und nur das eine Ziel kennen, solange der Mensch auf Erden lebt.... er muß Gott nahezukommen suchen, um zu Seiner Anschauung zu gelangen....
