Jesus' promise: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God...."

Man needs little for earthly life if he pursues the spiritual goal, i.e. if he is only concerned about his soul. And God provides enough for his earthly needs and he will lack nothing, as the lord has promised.... And that is why earthly worries are unnecessary, as the heavenly father knows the state of His children and what they need for their physical well-being. And He considers them earthly and spiritually, He not only maintains the body but also gives the soul what it needs in order to mature for eternity. However, man must put the care for the salvation of the soul before everything else so that Jesus' promise can be fulfilled: "Do not worry about what you will eat or drink or what you will wear, but seek first the kingdom of God, and everything else will be added to you...." Yet people know no other worries than for the well-being of their bodies, and since they do not think about their souls, God leaves them to their worries, because they do not pay attention to Him. And so He also withdraws. They should recognize the unsuccessfulness of their earthly striving and therefore He often takes from them what they have painstakingly gained, and thus they live in constant worry about their body's well-being, whereas they could go through earthly life easily and carefree if they wanted to pursue another goal which would simultaneously guarantee their earthly needs. Yet people have no faith, they do not pay attention to the divine word, they do not pay attention to Jesus' promise; they do not believe in the truth of what Jesus Christ taught on earth and consequently cannot receive the blessing of this promise either. And thus no other relief will be offered to them and they will have to fight the battle of existence through their own fault, just as unbelief will always disadvantage people in body and soul. God has created man for the sake of a task, He has created him in such a way that he has to look after his body in order to maintain his earthly life. And if he now fulfils the task, which consists of maturing his soul, then he need not fear at all that his body would have to starve, even if he puts earthly activity behind his spiritual striving, because now God Himself considers him.... by supplying him with everything man needs for daily life. How carefree mankind could walk on earth if it seriously considered the word of God and wanted to live accordingly.... Instead, however, people are only concerned with the preservation of the body and disregard spiritual needs. But anyone who strives for the kingdom of God is constantly in His care, he will receive everything he needs to live, he will never need to live in want, nor will he need to worry if what he possesses is taken from him, for God knows about his needs and worries and is ready to help at the right time. He tests His children in faith and tries to strengthen those whose faith is still weak. And that is why anyone who carries God in himself, who is united with Him and eagerly endeavours to acquire the kingdom of God will never find himself in need of the body.... God will consider him at all times, and His care will know how to prevent a person who observes Jesus' promise from getting into bodily distress: "Seek first the kingdom of God.... everything else will be added to you...."

La Promessa di Gesù: “Cercate dapprima il Regno di Dio.... ”

Per la vita terrena l’uomo ha bisogno solo di poco se persegue la meta spirituale, quindi pensa solo alla sua anima. E per i suoi bisogni terreni provvede Dio a sufficienza e non gli mancherà nulla, come il Signore ha promesso. E perciò sono inutili le preoccupazioni terrene, dato che il Padre celeste sà come stanno le cose dei Suoi figli e di cui hanno bisogno per il loro bene corporeo. Ed Egli provvede loro in modo terreno e spirituale, Egli non conserva soltanto il corpo, ma dà anche all’anima ciò di cui ha bisogno per maturare per l’Eternità. Ma l’uomo deve preporre a tutto la preoccupazione della salvezza dell’anima, affinché si possa adempiere la Promessa di Gesù: “Non preoccupatevi di quel che mangerete o di quel che berrete e con cui vi vestirete, ma cercate dapprima il Regno di Dio, tutto il resto vi viene dato in sovrappiù.... ” Ma gli uomini non conoscono altre preoccupazioni che quelle per il benessere del loro corpo e dato che non pensano alla loro anima, Dio li lascia alle loro preoccupazioni, perché non badano a Lui. E così anche Lui Si ritira. Devono riconoscere l’insuccesso del loro tendere terreno e perciò toglie loro sovente ciò che si sono conquistati faticosamente e quindi vivono in costante preoccupazione per il benessere del loro corpo, dove potrebbero passare facilmente e non aggravati attraverso la vita terrena, se volessero perseguire un’altra meta che garantisce loro contemporaneamente i bisogni terreni. Ma gli uomini non hanno nessuna fede, non badano alla Parola divina, non badano alla Promessa di Gesù; non credono alla Verità di ciò che Gesù Cristo ha insegnato sulla Terra e di conseguenza non possono nemmeno giungere nella Benedizione di questa Promessa. E così non potrà loro nemmeno essere offerto nessun altro sollievo e per propria colpa devono condurre la lotta dell’esistenza, come la miscredenza procurerà agli uomini lo svantaggio nel corpo e nell’anima. Dio ha creato l’uomo per via di un compito, Egli lo ha creato in modo che deve pensare al suo corpo per conservare la sua vita terrena. E se ora adempie il compito che consiste nella maturazione della sua anima, non ha assolutamente da temere che il suo corpo dovesse languire, anche se pone l’attività terrena dietro al suo tendere spirituale, perché ora lo provvede Dio Stesso mentre gli fornisce tutto ciò che l’uomo necessita per la vita quotidiana. Quanto libera da preoccupazione l’umanità potrebbe camminare sulla Terra, se pensasse seriamente alla Parola di Dio e la vivesse di conseguenza. Invece la preoccupazione degli uomini è rivolta solo alla conservazione del corpo e lasciano inosservati i bisogni spirituali. Ma chi aspira al Regno di Dio, è continuamente nella Sua Provvidenza, gli giunge tutto ciò di cui ha bisogno per la vita, non avrà mai bisogno di languire, non deve nemmeno temere se gli viene tolto ciò che possiede, perché Dio sà delle sue miserie e preoccupazioni ed E’ pronto con l’Aiuto nel tempo giusto. Egli esamina i Suoi figli nella fede e cerca di fortificare coloro la cui fede è ancora debole. E perciò non si troverà mai nella miseria del corpo chi porta in sé Dio, chi è unito con Lui e tende con fervore di conquistare il Regno di Dio. Dio lo provvederà in ogni tempo e la Sua Provvidenza saprà impedire che l’uomo capiti nelle miserie del corpo, colui che bada alla Promessa di Gesù: “Cercate dapprima il Regno di Dio.... tutto il resto vi viene sopraggiunto.... ”
