Jesus' promise: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God...."

Man needs little for earthly life if he pursues the spiritual goal, i.e. if he is only concerned about his soul. And God provides enough for his earthly needs and he will lack nothing, as the lord has promised.... And that is why earthly worries are unnecessary, as the heavenly father knows the state of His children and what they need for their physical well-being. And He considers them earthly and spiritually, He not only maintains the body but also gives the soul what it needs in order to mature for eternity. However, man must put the care for the salvation of the soul before everything else so that Jesus' promise can be fulfilled: "Do not worry about what you will eat or drink or what you will wear, but seek first the kingdom of God, and everything else will be added to you...." Yet people know no other worries than for the well-being of their bodies, and since they do not think about their souls, God leaves them to their worries, because they do not pay attention to Him. And so He also withdraws. They should recognize the unsuccessfulness of their earthly striving and therefore He often takes from them what they have painstakingly gained, and thus they live in constant worry about their body's well-being, whereas they could go through earthly life easily and carefree if they wanted to pursue another goal which would simultaneously guarantee their earthly needs. Yet people have no faith, they do not pay attention to the divine word, they do not pay attention to Jesus' promise; they do not believe in the truth of what Jesus Christ taught on earth and consequently cannot receive the blessing of this promise either. And thus no other relief will be offered to them and they will have to fight the battle of existence through their own fault, just as unbelief will always disadvantage people in body and soul. God has created man for the sake of a task, He has created him in such a way that he has to look after his body in order to maintain his earthly life. And if he now fulfils the task, which consists of maturing his soul, then he need not fear at all that his body would have to starve, even if he puts earthly activity behind his spiritual striving, because now God Himself considers him.... by supplying him with everything man needs for daily life. How carefree mankind could walk on earth if it seriously considered the word of God and wanted to live accordingly.... Instead, however, people are only concerned with the preservation of the body and disregard spiritual needs. But anyone who strives for the kingdom of God is constantly in His care, he will receive everything he needs to live, he will never need to live in want, nor will he need to worry if what he possesses is taken from him, for God knows about his needs and worries and is ready to help at the right time. He tests His children in faith and tries to strengthen those whose faith is still weak. And that is why anyone who carries God in himself, who is united with Him and eagerly endeavours to acquire the kingdom of God will never find himself in need of the body.... God will consider him at all times, and His care will know how to prevent a person who observes Jesus' promise from getting into bodily distress: "Seek first the kingdom of God.... everything else will be added to you...."

Promesa de Jesús: “Buscad primero el reino de Dios....”

El hombre necesita muy poco para la vida terrenal si tan sólo persigue el objetivo espiritual y sólo se preocupa por su alma. Y Dios proveerá para sus necesidades terrenales, y nada le faltará, como el Señor lo ha prometido.... Y por eso las preocupaciones terrenales son innecesarias, ya que el Padre celestial sabe cómo son Sus hijos y de qué necesitan para su bienestar corporal. Y los considera terrenales y espirituales. Él no sólo preserva el cuerpo, sino que también le da al alma lo que necesita para madurar para la eternidad.

Pero el hombre debe anteponer la salvación su alma a todo lo demás para que se cumpla la promesa de Jesús: “No os preocupéis por lo que habréis de comer y beber, no con qué os vestiréis, sino buscad primero el reino de Dios, y todo lo demás caerá en vuestras manos....” Pero los seres humanos no tienen otras preocupaciones que el bienestar de sus cuerpos, y como no piensan en sus almas, Dios los deja con sus preocupaciones porque no Le prestan atención. Y así Él también Se retira. Deben reconocer el fracaso de sus esfuerzos terrenales, y por eso Él muchas veces les quita lo que con tanto esfuerzo han logrado, y por eso viven en constante preocupación por el bienestar de sus cuerpos, aunque podrían pasar la vida en la Tierra con facilidad y despreocupados, si persiguieran un objetivo diferente que al mismo tiempo asegurara sus necesidades terrenales.

Pero la gente no tiene fe, no presta atención a la Palabra divina, no presta atención a la promesa de Jesús, la gente no cree en la verdad de lo que Jesucristo enseñó en la Tierra y por lo tanto no puede recibir la bendición de esta promesa. Por eso no se la puede ofrecer ningún otro alivio y tiene que luchar por la existencia por su propia culpa. Así como la incredulidad siempre causará a los humanos desventajas en cuerpo y alma.

Dios creó al humano por la razón de una tarea. Lo creó de tal manera que tiene que considerar su cuerpo para poder mantener su vida terrenal. Y si ahora cumple la tarea, que consiste en la maduración de su alma, no debe temer que su cuerpo muera de hambre, aunque ponga la actividad terrenal detrás de su esfuerzo espiritual, porque ahora Dios Mismo lo considera.... al suministrarle todo lo que el ser humano necesita para la vida diaria. Cuán despreocupadamente podría caminar la humanidad por la Tierra si quisiera considerar seriamente la Palabra de Dios y vivir según ella.... En cambio, la preocupación de la gente sólo se aplica a la preservación del cuerpo e ignora las necesidades espirituales.

Pero quien se esfuerza por el reino de Dios está constantemente bajo su cuidado, todo lo que necesita para vivir le será dado, nunca necesitará pasar hambre, ni tendrá que temer si le quitan lo que posee, porque Dios conoce sus necesidades y preocupaciones y está dispuesto a ayudar en el momento adecuado. Él prueba a sus hijos en la fe y busca fortalecer a aquellos cuya fe aún es débil. Y es por eso que quien lleva a Dios dentro sí mismo, que está unido a Él y se esfuerza ansiosamente por adquirir el reino de Dios, nunca se encontrará en angustia física.... Dios lo considerará en todo momento, y Su cuida sabrá evitar, que la persona que hace caso a la promesa de Jesús se meterá en problemas físicos: “Buscad primeramente el reino de Dios.... todo lo demás caerá en vuestras manos....”
