Word dispute and its consequences....

Every spiritual verbal dispute has a beneficial effect, for as soon as the human being expresses an opposing opinion he takes a stand on the matter in dispute and thus his train of thought is stimulated. However, spiritual forces can reveal themselves to the thinking person, i.e. knowledgeable beings can try to influence him mentally, but this is not possible if the person does not take a closer look at a problem which is to be solved. It will indeed be a battle between the knowing beings and those who stand in ignorance and want to transfer such to the human being. Yet time and again the human being will be referred to what knowledgeable beings have imparted to him, and with good will these objections will stick and then become more and more the human being's spiritual property if he thinks about them for longer. That is why opposing views can often contribute to clarification; the disputants will dispose of themselves, i.e. both opinions will be expressed, and the bearer of truth will always be able to chalk up a small success. Because once a question has been raised and a position taken on it, it always stimulates people to think about it. In addition, however, the bearers of truth will also be able to defend their view skilfully and convincingly, i.e. beat the opponent with words that are not to be dismissed as empty words.... He will be able to justify everything he says and thereby make his opponent unable or unwilling to fight, he will win because good, knowledgeable forces support him, he will speak convincingly because he knows the context of the whole and therefore not only expresses his opinion in a learned way, but also feels what he represents. And the more willing and truth-loving the opponent is, the quicker he will agree with the other person's opinion because he will then find the right thoughts and be convinced of the truth of what his opponent represents. Because arguing means encountering resistance, and resistance is a test of strength.... As soon as a fighter finds no resistance, the dispute comes to an end.... But God trains fighters for His kingdom, He wants man to fight against that which does not correspond to His will.... He wants man to defend before himself and the world what he considers to be right. So he must fight against what seems wrong to him. And since God promises His help to His disputants, the disputant must also be successful if he stands up for God and thus respects the divine will.... For God Himself then stands by his side, He speaks through the human being who is devoted to Him, thus God Himself fights, He tries to spread the truth but always also lets untruth have its say so that it will be recognized as such and cause the adversary to put up fierce resistance. For only then can he succeed in awakening doubt in him as to the truthfulness of his views, and if he starts to think about it he can be granted spiritual support and mentally introduced to the truth....

말씀에 대한 논쟁과 그의 결과.

모든 말씀에 대한 영적인 논쟁은 유익한 효과를 가져온다. 왜냐면 어떤 사람이 반대의 견해를 표명하면, 그는 논쟁하는 문제에 대한 입장을 취하고, 그가 생각하도록 자극을 받기 때문이다. 그리고 영적인 세력이 생각하는 사람에게 자신을 나타낼 수 있다. 다시 말해 아는 존재가 그에게 생각을 통해 영향을 미치려고 할 수 있다. 그러나 사람이 해결해야 할 문제에 깊이 관심을 갖지 않으면, 그런 일은 불가능하다. 아는 존재와 무지한 가운데 있고, 이런 무지를 인간에게 전가시키기 원하는 존재 사이에 싸움이 일어나게 될 것이다. 그러나 사람은 항상 또 다시 아는 존재가 모든 사람에게 전한 내용에 대해 가르침을 받고, 그가 선한 의지를 가진 경우 그런 반대 의견에 머물고, 그가 가르침에 대해 더 오래 생각할수록, 점점 더 많이 그의 지적 재산이 될 것이다.

따라서 반대하는 견해는 자주 명확하게 하는 일에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 논쟁하는 사람들이 자신을 표현할 것이고, 두 가지 의견을 말하고, 진리를 소유한 사람이 항상 작은 성공을 할 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 의문이 제기되고, 입장을 정하면, 이런 일이 사람들이 항상 또 다시 생각하도록 자극하기 때문이다. 게다가 진리를 가진 사람이 자신의 관점을 내세우고, 설득력 있게 옹호할 것이다. 그러므로 공허한 말로 치부할 수 없는 말로 상대방을 이길 수 있게 될 것이다. 그는 자신이 말하는 모든 것의 근거를 댈 수 있게 될 것이고, 이를 통해 상대방이 싸울 능력이 없게 하거나, 싸울 의지를 잃게 만들 것이고, 승리하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 선하고 알고 있는 세력들이 그를 지원하기 때문이다. 그는 확신 있게 말할 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 전체의 연관 관계를 알고, 때문에 그가 배운 자신의 의견을 말하는 것이 아니라, 받은 것을 대변하기 때문이다.

상대방이 더 자원하여 진리를 사랑할수록, 더 빠르게 상대방의 의견에 동의할 것이다. 왜냐면 그러면 그가 올바른 생각을 하고, 자신의 상재방이 주장하는 것이 진리임을 확신할 것이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 논쟁은 저항에 직면하는 일을 의미하고, 저항을 통해 힘을 시험해볼 수 있기 때문이다. 논쟁하는 사람이 저항을 만나지 못하면, 논쟁은 끝이 난다. 그러나 하나님은 자신의 전사들을 자신의 나라를 위해 싸우도록 훈련시키고, 사람이 자신의 뜻에 맞지 않는 것에 대항하여 싸우기를 원한다.

하나님은 사람이 자신이 옳다고 생각하는 것을 자신 앞에, 세상 앞에 표현하기를 원한다. 그러므로 사람은 자신에게 잘못된 것처럼 보이는 것에 맞서 싸워야만 한다. 하나님이 자신의 전사에게 자신의 도움을 약속했기 때문에, 그가 하나님을 옹호하고, 하나님의 뜻을 존중한다면, 싸우는 그는 성공해야만 한다. 왜냐면 하나님 자신이 그와 함께 하기 때문이다. 하나님은 자신에게 헌신하는 사람들을 통해 말한다. 그러므로 하나님 자신이 싸운다. 하나님은 진리를 전파하려고 노력한다. 그러나 하나님은 항상 진리가 아닌 말을 놔둔다. 이로써 사람들이 진리가 아닌 것을 깨닫고, 대적자에게 강한 방어를 하게 한다. 왜냐면 그러면 비로소 그 안에 자신의 견해가 진실성이 있는 지에 대한 의심을 불러 일으킬 수 있고, 그가 이에 대해 생각하기 시작하면, 그에게 영적인 지원을 해줄 수 있고, 그는 생각을 통해 진리로 인도받을 수 있기 때문이다.
