Arrogance.... darkness.... ray of light.... truth....

Deep darkness weighs on humanity and the sign of this is wrong thinking and arrogance. He who is arrogant in spirit does not examine whether he is in the truth, and if he is thus mistaken, he does nothing to free himself from it. He who seeks finds.... but he who believes himself to be infallible does not seek the truth and will therefore never find it. To possess the truth means to walk in the light, but error is darkness. This is why God occasionally lets a light shine so that it breaks through the darkness and the benefit of a ray of light is shown to people, i.e. pure truth is offered to a person from the kingdom of the one Who is truth in Himself.... And where there is truth, error is also recognized as such.... The light shines brightly in the darkness.... And now people are free to remain with the truth or to return to error, i.e. to sink back into the night of the spirit. In most cases, however, people flee the light.... the truth.... They do not want to let go of what they possess as spiritual property, even though it contradicts the truth, because they are arrogant in spirit and do not want to recognize anything that goes beyond their knowledge. And that is why it is so difficult to bring the truth to people. If they were to examine everything with a childlike mind, consider everything and then accept what stands up to their scrutiny, their knowledge would be much closer to the truth. But as it is, every bearer of truth is attacked out of the instinctive feeling that his knowledge is greater, and thus humanity remains in darkness, it extinguishes the light because it shies away from it. And even if God repeatedly lights a little light to shine for humanity, it does not recognize the blessing of it and carelessly passes it by or only eagerly endeavours to obscure its bright shine. The ray of light is a blessing for people who desire to walk in the light and they gratefully accept this blessing, but there are only a few of them, they are predominantly people who lack worldly knowledge, for worldly knowledge is likewise a light which shines brightly enough for them.... But it is not capable of breaking through the darkness of the night. But because they believe they possess a light, they do not desire to illuminate their spiritual state, and so humanity continues to walk in darkness, which has an immeasurably painful effect on it....

L’arroganza – L’oscurità – Il raggio di Luce - La Verità

Sull’umanità grava una profonda oscurità ed il segno per questa è il falso pensare e l’arroganza. Chi è di spirito arrogante non esamina se si trova nella Verità e se quindi sbaglia non fa nulla per liberarsene. Chi cerca, trova, ma chi crede di essere infallibile, non cerca la Verità e perciò non la troverà nemmeno. Possedere la Verità significa camminare nella Luce, l’errore però è tenebra. Perciò Dio fa a volte risplendere una Luce, affinché faccia breccia nell’oscurità ed agli uomini venga dimostrato il beneficio di un raggio di Luce, cioè ad un uomo viene offerta la pura Verità dal Regno di Colui il Quale in Sé E’ la Verità. E dov’è la Verità, là anche l’errore viene riconosciuto come tale. La Luce splende chiaramente nell’oscurità. Ed ora l’uomo è libero di rimanere con la Verità oppure di ritornare all’errore, quindi di risprofondare nella notte dello spirito. Ma gli uomini fuggono quasi sempre la Luce, la Verità. Non vogliono lasciare ciò che possiedono come proprietà spirituale anche se contraddice la Verità, perché sono di spirito arrogante e non vogliono riconoscere nulla che va oltre il loro sapere. E perciò è così difficile portare agli uomini la Verità. Se di animo infantile esaminassero tutto, riflettessero su tutto e poi accettassero ciò che resiste al loro esame, il loro sapere sarebbe molto più vicino alla Verità. Ma così ogni portatore della Verità viene aggredito dalla sensazione istintiva che il suo sapere sia più grande e quindi l’umanità rimane nell’oscurità, fa spegnere la Luce perché la teme. Ed anche se Dio accende sempre di nuovo la Luce che deve splendere all’umanità, essa non riconosce la sua Benedizione e vi passa oltre indifferente oppure si sforza solo con fervore di oscurare il suo chiaro bagliore. Il raggio della Luce è un beneficio per gli uomini che desiderano camminare nella Luce ed accettano anche grati questo beneficio, ma di questi ce ne sono solo pochi, sono prevalentemente degli uomini ai quali manca il sapere mondano, perché questo è come una lampada che a loro splende abbastanza chiara, non è però in grado di fare breccia nel buio della notte. Ma dato che credono di possedere una luce, non desiderano di illuminare il loro stato spirituale e quindi l’umanità continua a camminare nell’oscurità che però ha un effetto di immensa sofferenza.
