God's love and mercy come to meet people....

And this is God's great mercy that He draws people to Himself through His grace, that He offers them His help because they fail without it, because they cannot find the way into the father's house if God does not come to meet them. The father wants to fetch His child home but the child does not recognize the father until He stretches out His hand and draws it to Himself. And this mercy is the outflow of His love. He seeks to lead back to Himself what has emerged from Him, for it is a part of Himself. It should turn to Him of its own free will, yet since it no longer recognizes its origin it is too weak and therefore needs His love and grace and His greater than great mercy.... And the coming great suffering is also a work of God's mercy, it is a grace which is intended to help people return to God. But people will not recognize it as mercy and therefore it will also remain ineffective.... Suffering will not be able to bend people, for they are far from God and do not know of His great love and mercy. They are His creatures and no longer recognize the creator, they are His children and do not long to return to the father's house because they walk along in spiritual blindness and do not want to accept the light that God sends them on their path through life out of great mercy....

Gottes Liebe und Erbarmung kommt den Menschen entgegen....

Und das ist Gottes große Erbarmung, daß Er die Menschen zu Sich zieht durch Seine Gnade, daß Er ihnen Seine Hilfe bietet, weil sie ohne diese versagen, weil sie den Weg ins Vaterhaus nicht finden, wenn Gott ihnen nicht entgegenkommt. Es will der Vater Sein Kind heimholen, doch es erkennt das Kind den Vater nicht, bis Dieser die Hand ausstreckt und es zu Sich zieht. Und diese Erbarmung ist der Ausfluß Seiner Liebe. Was aus Ihm hervorgegangen ist, das sucht Er wieder Sich zuzuleiten, denn es ist ein Teil Seiner Selbst. Es soll aus freiem Willen sich Ihm zuwenden, doch da es seinen Ausgang nicht mehr erkennt, ist es zu schwach, und darum benötigt es Seine Liebe und Gnade und Seine übergroße Erbarmung.... Und auch das kommende große Leid ist ein Werk der Barmherzigkeit Gottes, es ist eine Gnade, die den Menschen verhelfen soll zur Rückkehr zu Gott. Doch die Menschen werden es nicht erkennen als Gnade, und darum wird sie auch unwirksam bleiben.... Es wird das Leid die Menschen nicht zu beugen vermögen, denn sie sind Gott fern, und sie wissen nicht um Seine große Liebe und Barmherzigkeit. Sie sind Seine Geschöpfe und kennen den Schöpfer nicht mehr an, sie sind Seine Kinder und verlangen nicht zurück ins Vaterhaus, weil sie in geistiger Blindheit dahingehen und das Licht nicht annehmen wollen, das Gott ihnen sendet auf ihren Lebensweg aus großer Erbarmung....
