Disasters in nature and their spiritual explanation....

The earth is in perpetual rotation around itself and never stays in immobility. This is also the explanation for the development of the earth from the original liquid mass to the solid earth body, which now has become whereabouts for creatures of all kinds. But the core of the earth is always still liquid and is also so long unsuitable for any creature as stay, until it has solidified. Breaks now this liquid mass a path to the surface through eruptions, so this is synonymous with a complete destruction of all creatures on this surface, and therefore such eruptions are feared by people and animals, because it brings their complete destruction. The divine wisdom allows therefore those only in cases of extreme necessity, this means, first the will of God must precede by each outbreak, before it can take place, and this is justified in His love and wisdom.... The forces within the earth must be constantly active, because this activity means for the earth, that means for all beings on the surface of earth, possibility of life, as well as the earth is total solidified, any vegetation stops. This inner activity of spiritual forces is thus already a certain serving for the redemption of the spiritual, and therefore it must also even be given the possibility to these forces, to begin their course of development on earth, even though immemorial time must pass, before this spiritual can begin the change of form on earth. Every natural disaster can also be an end of the career on earth for the most higly developed being, for the human, but it is at the same time the beginning of an earth period of incomprehensible long time again for the very immature spiritual, and therefore to be regarded as God’s will. All creation is only for the purpose, to develop the spiritual to the height.... If now a higher development of the soul is no longer aimed by the humans, the purpose and the aim of earth life are disregarded, so God ends this life and at the same time He gives the possibility of an ongoing development for the spiritual, standing in the beginning of development.... He annihilates as it were, to let raise up new creations through the work of destruction, which involve the spiritual in itself again, to that one was granted the grace of going on earth. Because nothing happens without sense and purpose, where God’s love and wisdom reigns....

Katastrophen in der Natur und ihre geistige Erklärung....

Die Erde ist in immerwährender Umdrehung um sich selbst und verharrt niemals in Bewegungslosigkeit. Es ist dies auch die Erklärung für die Entwicklung der Erde aus der ursprünglich flüssigen Masse zu dem festen Erdkörper, der Lebewesen aller Art nun Aufenthaltsort geworden ist. Der Kern der Erde ist aber noch immer flüssig und so lange, bis er erstarrt ist, auch für jegliches Lebewesen ungeeignet als Aufenthalt. Bricht sich nun durch Eruptionen diese flüssige Masse eine Bahn nach der Oberfläche, so ist dies gleichbedeutend einer völligen Vernichtung aller Lebewesen an dieser Oberfläche, und es sind darum solche Eruptionen von Menschen und Tier gefürchtet, weil es ihre völlige Vernichtung bringt. Die göttliche Weisheit läßt sie daher nur in Fällen äußerster Notwendigkeit zu, d.h., jedem Ausbruch muß erst der Wille Gottes vorangehen, ehe er stattfinden kann, und dies ist in Seiner Liebe und Weisheit begründet.... Die Kräfte im Erdinneren müssen unentwegt tätig sein, denn diese Tätigkeit bedeutet für die Erde, d.h. für alle Wesen auf der Erdoberfläche, Lebensmöglichkeit, denn sowie die Erde gänzlich erstarrt ist, hört jegliche Vegetation auf. Diese innere Tätigkeit der geistigen Kräfte ist also schon ein gewisses Dienen zur Erlösung des Geistigen, und es muß darum diesen Kräften gleichfalls einmal die Möglichkeit gegeben werden, ihren Entwicklungsgang auf Erden zu beginnen, wenngleich undenkliche Zeiten vergehen müssen, ehe dieses Geistige den Formenwechsel auf Erden beginnen kann. Jede Naturkatastrophe kann also für das höchstentwickelte Geistwesen, den Menschen, ein Ende seiner Erdenlaufbahn sein, es ist aber gleichzeitig für das ganz unreife Geistige der Anfang einer Erdperiode von wieder unfaßbar langer Zeit und daher als Gott-gewollt anzusehen. Jegliche Schöpfung dient nur dem Zweck, das Geistige zur Höhe zu entwickeln.... Wird nun menschlicherseits eine Höherentwicklung der Seele nicht mehr angestrebt, wird der Zweck und das Ziel des Erdenlebens außer acht gelassen, so beendet Gott dieses Leben und gibt gleichzeitig dem im Anfang der Entwicklung stehenden Geistigen die Möglichkeit einer fortlaufenden Entwicklung.... Er vernichtet gleichsam, um durch das Vernichtungswerk neue Schöpfungen erstehen zu lassen, die wieder das Geistige in sich bergen, dem die Gnade des Erdenganges zugebilligt wurde. Denn nichts geschieht ohne Sinn und Zweck, wo Gottes Liebe und Weisheit waltet....
