Distance from God - powerlessness.... prayer and help....

As long as the human being is still in a defensive position towards God and the good forces, he also lacks the strength to lead a God-pleasing way of life, for he is then also incapable of love and thus without an influx of strength. But he cannot develop progressively by his own strength, for this must be accomplished by love, which again supplies him with love, i.e. strength from God. Thus, loving activity will always mean an approach to God, but without loving activity the deity will be unattainable, thus the human being will be distant from God. Lack of strength is therefore the cause when a person does not live his life in accordance with God's will. He is still under the spell of the adversary, who wants to prevent him from turning to God. However, this influence on the human being is permitted by God because his will must freely decide in favour of God or His adversary. For no matter how much he is oppressed, his will remains free, and if he constantly becomes weaker, this is solely his fault because he does not use this free will in the right way. He can remedy any weakness himself by praying for strength. But then he must turn to God Himself, he must therefore turn towards Him and away from God's adversary, then the strength will flow to him and then he can also work good through this strength. The powerless state is welcome to God's adversary, he finds no resistance if he impels the human being to do things which contradict divine will. And he then completely lacks the will to carry out good deeds. Thus, as long as he is under the adversary's spell, only prayer will help him and he will have to wrestle with his weakness of will until he calls upon God from the bottom of his heart for help.... If he takes the path to God he will receive help, for now he proves his will that he wants to join God and free himself from the influence of His adversary. And he will receive help.... Heartfelt prayer never remains unanswered, and therefore heartfelt prayer helps in all spiritual and earthly needs. For now he will receive strength and his walk on earth, his actions and thoughts will be blessed by God. Only the will is required. No man is helplessly left to himself as soon as he only desires help. However, in order to request help, God must be recognized as an almighty and loving being, and this is what a person does when he asks Him for help. one pleading thought alone is enough to give him the strength to pray more fervently for support, for assistance in his weakness of will. This is the battle the being has to wage on earth, this is the struggle with evil power in order to approach God, this is the decision of free will in favour of or against God....

Gottferne - Kraftlosigkeit.... Gebet und Hilfe....

Solange der Mensch sich noch in Abwehrstellung befindet Gott und den guten Kräften gegenüber, mangelt es ihm auch an Kraft, einen Gott-gefälligen Lebenswandel zu führen, denn er ist dann auch nicht liebefähig und somit ohne Kraftzustrom. Aus eigener Kraft aber kann er sich nicht fortschrittlich entwickeln, denn dies muß die Liebe vollbringen, die ihm wieder Liebe, d.h. Kraft aus Gott, zuführt. So wird immer Liebeswirken eine Annäherung an Gott bedeuten, ohne Liebeswirken aber die Gottheit unerreichbar sein, der Mensch sich also in Gottferne befinden. Kraftlosigkeit ist also die Ursache, wenn der Mensch seinen Lebenswandel nicht dem Willen Gottes gemäß führt. Er ist noch im Banne des Widersachers, der ihn hindern will, sich Gott zuzuwenden. Dieser Einfluß auf den Menschen ist aber von Gott zugelassen, weil sich der Wille dessen frei entscheiden muß für Gott oder Dessen Gegner. Denn ob er auch noch so sehr bedrängt wird, sein Wille bleibt frei, und wenn er ständig schwächer wird, so ist das allein seine Schuld, weil er diesen freien Willen nicht in der rechten Weise nützet. Jegliche Schwäche kann er selbst beheben durch das Gebet um Kraft. Er muß sich dann aber an Gott Selbst wenden, er muß sich also Ihm zu und vom Gegner Gottes sich abwenden, dann strömet die Kraft ihm zu, und nun kann er auch Gutes wirken durch diese Kraft. Der kraftlose Zustand ist dem Gegner Gottes willkommen, er findet keinen Widerstand, so er den Menschen zu Dingen antreibt, die dem göttlichen Willen widersprechen. Und um gute Taten auszuführen, mangelt es ihm dann völlig am Willen. Solange er also unter dem Banne des Widersachers steht, hilft ihm nur das Gebet und er wird so lange ringen müssen mit seiner Willensschwäche, bis er aus tiefstem Herzen Gott anruft um Hilfe.... Geht er den Weg zu Gott, so wird ihm Hilfe, denn nun beweist er seinen Willen, daß er sich Gott anschließen und von dem Einfluß Seines Gegners sich frei machen möchte. Und es wird ihm Hilfe.... Inniges Gebet bleibt niemals unerhört, und darum hilft inniges Gebet in allen seelischen und irdischen Nöten. Denn nun geht ihm die Kraft zu, und sein Wandel auf Erden, sein Handeln und Denken ist gesegnet von Gott. Nur der Wille wird gefordert. Hilflos sich selbst überlassen ist kein Mensch, sowie er nur Hilfe begehrt. Um aber Hilfe anzufordern, muß Gott als allmächtige und liebevolle Wesenheit anerkannt werden, und dies tut der Mensch, so er Ihn um Hilfe bittet. Ein flehender Gedanke schon genügt, daß ihm die Kraft zugeht, inbrünstiger zu beten um Unterstützung, um Beistand in seiner Willensschwäche. Es ist dies der Kampf, den das Wesen auf Erden führen muß, es ist dies das Ringen mit der bösen Gewalt, um sich Gott zu nähern, es ist dies das Entscheiden des freien Willens für oder gegen Gott....
