Thought activity of an unbeliever and transformation....

The mental activity of an unbeliever produces completely different results than that of a believer. For the most part, the former's thinking only moves in the earthly realm, for the more unbelieving a person is, the more he is connected to the world and its goods. Thoughts of something supernatural are so far removed from him, and if they are brought to him, he rejects them as fantasy; they are also unacceptable to him, for he regards the world as a matter of course that has no other connection with the individual creatures than that man should make use of all its comforts and derive the greatest possible enjoyment and advantage from it. This attitude makes him completely incapable of thinking his way into spiritual areas, and such people can hardly be taught a different view of life on earth. The aim and purpose of this remains for them only increased well-being of the body and unrestricted enjoyment of life. And yet God does not leave these people without warnings either by often weakening the body in such a way that they recognize from it that a power against which they are unable to stand is opposing them.... Admittedly, they also try to explain this to themselves as a natural phenomenon, and then they must receive stronger indications in the form of other suffering and misery which they are unable to banish by their own strength. The fate of an individual's life cannot be arbitrarily shaped by him, earthly happiness cannot be forced, and man cannot decide on life and death either, and as soon as he is seriously threatened he recognizes his complete powerlessness. And now he plays with the thought of a higher power that wants to make itself recognizable. And only then do his thoughts wander into the spiritual world, depending on his attitude towards his fellow human beings. A person who only has selfish love will hardly attain realization, but a person who does not completely isolate himself from his fellow human beings, who takes an interest in them and supports them, even if only to a small extent, will more easily come to recognize the eternal divine, only it will take a longer time before a completely unbelieving person acquires a different view, and it is a blessing for such people if they are granted a long earthly life which can still bring about a change in their thinking. For when the body's strength begins to diminish, the desire for the world and its possessions will also diminish, and then the beings of light will try to enter and have an effect mentally and the will to reject will no longer be so strong. But then a complete change of lifestyle is necessary if he still wants to make up for his spiritual deficiencies on earth and attain the necessary maturity of soul. God's help is available to him at all times and the human being can do anything if he only wants to....

L’attività mentale di un miscredente e cambiamento

L’attività mentale di un uomo miscredente produce risultati del tutto diversi da uno credente. Il pen-sare del primo si muove quasi sempre soltanto nel regno terreno, perchè più un uomo è miscredente, più è unito con il mondo ed i suoi beni. I pensieri in qualcosa di ultraterreno gli sono così lontani e quando gli vengono portati vicini, li rifiuta come fantasie; per lui sono anche inaccettabili, perché considera il mondo come una naturalezza che non ha nessun altro collegamento con le singole crea-ture che quello che l’uomo ne deve trarre tutti i piaceri ed il massimo godimento e vantaggio. Questa predisposizione lo rende del tutto incapace di pensare a regioni spirituali ed è anche difficile portare tali uomini ad un’altra opinione della vita sulla Terra. La loro meta e scopo rimangono solo un aumentato benessere del corpo ed un illimitato godimento di vita. E comunque Dio non lascia nemmeno questi uomini senza Avvertimenti, mentre sovente indebolisce il corpo in modo che in ciò riconoscano che c’E’ una Potenza contro la Quale non possono nulla, che Si pone contro di loro. Cercheranno comunque di spiegarsi anche questo come una naturalezza ed allora devono avere in-dicazioni più forti in forma di altra sofferenza e miseria che con la propria forza non possono bandi-re. Il destino di vita del singolo non può essere formato da lui, la felicità terrena non si può ottenere per costrizione e l’uomo non può nemmeno decidere su vita e morte ed appena viene ora seriamente minacciato, riconosce la sua totale impotenza. Ed ora gioca con il pensiero di una Potenza superiore, la Quale Si vuole far riconoscere da questo. E solo allora i suoi pensieri fluttuano nel mondo spirituale e questo secondo la sua predisposizione verso i suoi prossimi. Un uomo che possiede solo l’amore dell’io, difficilmente giunge alla conoscenza; ma l’uomo che non si chiude del tutto al pros-simo, che prende parte e lo assiste, anche se in minima misura, giungerà più facilmente alla cono-scenza dell’eterno Divino, soltanto che per questo ci vuole più tempo, prima che un uomo totalmente miscredente arrivi ad un’altra opinione ed è una Grazia per tali uomini, quando è destinata a loro una lunga vita terrena che può portarli comunque ancora al cambiamento del loro pensare. Perché quando cominceranno a cedere le forze corporee, diminuisce anche il desiderio per il mondo ed i suoi beni ed allora gli esseri di Luce cercano di trovare l’accesso e di agire mentalmente e la volontà di rifiuto non è più così forte. Ma allora ci vuole una totale svolta della conduzione della sua vita se vuole pareggiare ancora le sue mancanze spirituali sulla Terra e giungere alla necessaria maturità dell’anima. Per questo ha sempre a disposizione l’Aiuto di Dio e l’uomo può tutto, se soltanto vuo-le.
