School of the spirit on earth and in the hereafter....

A person's life on earth can be called a school of the spirit, and if he utilizes all possibilities he can be full of knowledge at the end of his life and thus be able to carry out the new task in the beyond.... This task consists of being a useful member of the community, which is again responsible for the work of education.... the education of ignorant and immature souls on earth as well as in the beyond. For ignorance is an unfree and deficient state that must be remedied. This task must be borne by deep love, because it is arduous and requires infinite patience. The knowledge must be conveyed to the ignorant on God's instructions by beings who are capable of it, i.e. who are in knowledge themselves, thus the former must consciously want to serve God through it, then they can be admitted to teaching activity. The earth is a schoolhouse in which every human being can attain maturity if he does not resist the education on the part of those teaching forces. Everything is made clear to him through creation, and his thoughts will always be directed towards realization, but they can also go their own way, thus the work of education can also be unsuccessful for the individual person or his soul. Then this work must be continued in the beyond, often with great difficulty and resistance. However, the being is not a useful member in the kingdom of the eternal until it is likewise willing and able to be active as a teacher, for unspeakably many souls still have to be educated in the school of the spirit, and this also requires many forces which are willing and able to pass on the knowledge. The spirit in every human soul is able and willing to receive all knowledge, yet it is often held captive by the soul so that the connection with the divine spirit outside itself is made impossible...., which is therefore to be understood such that the spiritual beings, which would like to impart the knowledge on behalf of God through mental emanations, are hindered in their endeavour by the soul, by the human being's will, which denies these thoughts access to the spirit within it. This is exactly how the endeavours of the knowing forces are resisted in the beyond and their teaching activity is prevented. But as long as the soul lacks knowledge it is also unhappy, it is immature, knows nothing, recognizes nothing and is blind in spirit, and if a soul in need of help approaches it, it cannot offer it anything because it possesses nothing itself. This is a shortcoming that has a painful effect and yet is not taken into account in earthly life, otherwise people would make it their business to successfully pass through the school of the spirit. They do not realize how much they need the knowledge and how their own fate and that of many other souls depends on this knowledge, for only the imparting of knowledge brings with it a state of happiness, and the being can only impart knowledge once it has first acquired it in the school of the spirit. Life on earth can be entirely sufficient to give the human being the right realization, thus he can have absorbed a degree of knowledge during this time which will ensure him a happy state in the beyond, because he is now able to impart his knowledge and, as a teaching force, once again fulfils a task which is assigned to every soul, for this task is the epitome of the act of salvation, because through its fulfilment the darkness is banished and all beings are guided towards the light....

이 땅과 저세상의 영의 학교.

이 땅의 삶은 인간을 위한 영의 학교라고 부를 수 있다. 그러므로 인간이 모든 가능성을 사용한다면, 그는 인생의 마지막에 가서 지식으로 가득 차, 저 세상에서 새로운 과제를 수행할 수 있게 된다. 이 과제는 공동체의 유용한 일원이 되어, 저 세상에서와 같이 이 땅에서 무지하고 성숙하지 못한 혼을 다시 양육하는 과제이다. 왜냐면 무지는 해결해야 할 자유롭지 못하고, 결함이 있는 상태이기 때문이다. 이 과제는 깊은 사랑으로 해야만 한다. 왜냐면 이 일에 힘이 많이 들고, 무한한 인내가 필요하기 때문이다. 이런 일을 할 수 있게 하는 지식을 가진 존재가, 즉 알고 있는 존재가 하나님의 인도 하에 무지한 사람을 만나게 된다. 그러므로 알고 있는 존재들은 이 과제를 통해 의식적으로 하나님을 섬기기 원해야만 한다. 그러면 그들은 가르치는 일을 허용 받을 수 있다.

이 땅은 가르침을 받는 학교이다. 사람이 가르치는 세력들이 주는 양육에 저항하지 않는다면, 이 학교에서 모든 사람이 성숙해질 수 있다. 창조물이 그가 모든 것을 볼 수 있게 하고, 그의 생각은 항상 깨달음으로 인도를 받는다. 그러나 그의 생각이 자신의 길을 갈 수 있다. 다시 말해 양육하는 역사가 각각의 사람이나, 그의 혼들에게 성공적이 되지 못할 수 있다. 그러면 양육하는 역사는 자주 큰 어려움과 저항 가운데 저 세상에서 계속돼야만 한다.

그러나 존재가 마찬가지로 가르치는 일을 하기를 원하고, 할 수 있게 되기까지, 존재는 영원한 나라에서 유용한 구성원이 되지 못한다. 왜냐면 말할 수 없게 많은 혼들이 영의 학교에서 아직 양육을 받아야만 하기 때문이다. 이 일을 위해 지식을 전하기를 원하고, 전할 수 있는 많은 세력들이 필요하다. 모든 사람의 혼 안에 있는 영은 모든 지식을 영접할 수 있고, 또한 영접하기를 원한다. 그럴지라도 영이 혼의 포로가 되어 있기 때문에 외부의 하나님의 영과 연결을 이루는 일이 불가능하다. 다시 말해 이런 일은 하나님의 사명을 받아 생각을 통해 영에게 지식을 전하기 원하는 영의 존재들의 의도가 혼에 의해, 이런 생각이 혼 안의 영에게 도달하는 일을 막는 인간의 의지에 의해, 방해를 받는 일로 이해해야만 한다.

이처럼 저세상의 알고 있는 세력들은 저항을 받고, 그들의 가르치는 일을 하지 못하게 된다. 그러나 혼이 지식이 부족한 동안에는, 혼은 불행하고, 성숙하지 못하고, 아무것도 모르고, 아무것도 깨닫지 못하고, 영의 눈이 멀어 있다. 이런 혼에게 도움이 필요한 혼이 접근하면, 혼은 아무것도 제공할 수 없다. 왜냐면 혼 자신이 아무것도 가지고 있지 않기 때문이다. 이는 큰 고통을 주는 결점이다. 사람들이 이 땅의 삶 가운데 이를 생각하지 않는다. 생각한다면 사람들이 성공적으로 영의 학교를 마치는 일에 관심을 가졌을 것이다.

사람들은 그들이 지식이 얼마나 필요한지를, 자신의 운명과 다른 많은 혼들의 운명이 이런 지식에 의존되어 있는 지를 믿지 않는다. 왜냐하면 지식을 전해주는 일이 비로소 행복의 상태가 되게 하기 때문이다. 존재가 이런 지식을 이전에 영의 학교에서 얻었다면, 존재가 비로소 이런 지식을 전할 수 있다. 이 땅의 삶은 인간에게 올바른 지식을 얻게 하기에 충분할 수 있다. 그러므로 그는 이 기간 동안 어느 정도의 지식을 얻을 수 있고, 이런 지식이 그에게 저 세상에서 행복이 충만한 상태를 보장한다. 왜냐면 그가 이제 자신의 지식을 나눠줄 수 있게 되고, 다시 가르치는 세력으로써 모든 혼에게 주어진 과제를 수행하고, 이런 과제는 구원역사의 본질적인 과제이기 때문이다. 이런 과제를 성취시킴을 통해 어두움을 물리치고, 모든 존재에게 빛이 주어지기 때문이다.
