School of the spirit on earth and in the hereafter....

A person's life on earth can be called a school of the spirit, and if he utilizes all possibilities he can be full of knowledge at the end of his life and thus be able to carry out the new task in the beyond.... This task consists of being a useful member of the community, which is again responsible for the work of education.... the education of ignorant and immature souls on earth as well as in the beyond. For ignorance is an unfree and deficient state that must be remedied. This task must be borne by deep love, because it is arduous and requires infinite patience. The knowledge must be conveyed to the ignorant on God's instructions by beings who are capable of it, i.e. who are in knowledge themselves, thus the former must consciously want to serve God through it, then they can be admitted to teaching activity. The earth is a schoolhouse in which every human being can attain maturity if he does not resist the education on the part of those teaching forces. Everything is made clear to him through creation, and his thoughts will always be directed towards realization, but they can also go their own way, thus the work of education can also be unsuccessful for the individual person or his soul. Then this work must be continued in the beyond, often with great difficulty and resistance. However, the being is not a useful member in the kingdom of the eternal until it is likewise willing and able to be active as a teacher, for unspeakably many souls still have to be educated in the school of the spirit, and this also requires many forces which are willing and able to pass on the knowledge. The spirit in every human soul is able and willing to receive all knowledge, yet it is often held captive by the soul so that the connection with the divine spirit outside itself is made impossible...., which is therefore to be understood such that the spiritual beings, which would like to impart the knowledge on behalf of God through mental emanations, are hindered in their endeavour by the soul, by the human being's will, which denies these thoughts access to the spirit within it. This is exactly how the endeavours of the knowing forces are resisted in the beyond and their teaching activity is prevented. But as long as the soul lacks knowledge it is also unhappy, it is immature, knows nothing, recognizes nothing and is blind in spirit, and if a soul in need of help approaches it, it cannot offer it anything because it possesses nothing itself. This is a shortcoming that has a painful effect and yet is not taken into account in earthly life, otherwise people would make it their business to successfully pass through the school of the spirit. They do not realize how much they need the knowledge and how their own fate and that of many other souls depends on this knowledge, for only the imparting of knowledge brings with it a state of happiness, and the being can only impart knowledge once it has first acquired it in the school of the spirit. Life on earth can be entirely sufficient to give the human being the right realization, thus he can have absorbed a degree of knowledge during this time which will ensure him a happy state in the beyond, because he is now able to impart his knowledge and, as a teaching force, once again fulfils a task which is assigned to every soul, for this task is the epitome of the act of salvation, because through its fulfilment the darkness is banished and all beings are guided towards the light....

La Scuola dello spirito sulla Terra e nell’aldilà

La vita terrena per l’uomo è da chiamare una scuola dello spirito e se utilizza tutte le possibilità, alla fine della vita può esser colmo di sapere e quindi con ciò capace di poter eseguire il nuovo compito nell’aldilà. Questo compito consiste di essere un utile membro della comunità alla quale spetta di nuovo l’opera dell’educazione, l’ammaestramento di anime ignare ed immature sulla Terra come nell’aldilà, perché l’ignoranza è uno stato non-libero ed imperfetto che dev’essere sospeso. Questo compito dev’essere sostenuto dal profondo amore, perché è faticoso e richiede infinita pazienza. Il sapere dev’essere guidato su Incarico di Dio agli esseri ignari, da esseri che stanno essi stessi nel sapere, quindi questi ultimi con ciò devono voler servire consapevolmente Dio, solo allora possono essere ammessi all’attività d’insegnamento.

La Terra è una Scuola nella quale ogni uomo può arrivare alla maturità, quando non oppone nessuna resistenza all’educazione da parte delle Forze insegnanti. Gli viene reso tutto chiaro attraverso la Creazione ed i suoi pensieri vengono sempre rivolti alla conoscenza, ma possono anche percorrere proprie vie, quindi l’opera di educazione può anche essere senza successo per il singolo uomo o la sua anima. Allora quest’opera deve continuare nell’aldilà, sovente sotto grandi difficoltà e resistenze. Ma l’essere non è un membro utile nel Regno dell’Eterno prima che non sia pure volenteroso e capace di essere attivo insegnando, perché innumerevoli anime devono ancora essere educate nella Scuola dello spirito e per questo ci vogliono anche molte Forze che vogliono e possono guidare oltre il sapere.

Lo spirito nell’anima di ogni uomo è in grado ed anche volenteroso di accogliere ogni sapere, ma è sovente tenuto catturato dall’anima in modo che il collegamento da sé stesso con lo Spirito divino gli viene reso impossibile, cosa che è da intendere che gli esseri spirituali che gli vorrebbero trasmettere il sapere nell’Incarico di Dio attraverso le irradiazioni mentali, vengono ostacolati nel loro intento attraverso l’anima, attraverso la volontà dell’uomo che impedisce l’accesso a questi pensieri allo spirito in lei.

Proprio così anche nell’aldilà viene opposta resistenza allo sforzo di Forze sapienti ed impedita la loro attività d’insegnamento. Ma finché all’anima manca il sapere è anche infelice, è immatura, non sà nulla, non riconosce nulla ed è cieca nello spirito e se le si avvicina un’anima bisognosa d’aiuto, non le può offrire nulla, perché lei stessa non possiede nulla. Questa è una mancanza che ha un effetto di sofferenza e non viene comunque considerato nella vita terrena, altrimenti gli uomini si sforzerebbero di passare con successo attraverso la Scuola dello spirito. Non credono quanto necessariamente abbiano bisogno del sapere e quanto dipenda da questo sapere la propria sorte e quella di molte altre anime, perché solo la trasmissione del sapere porta con sé uno stato di felicità ed all’essere può venir trasmesso il sapere soltanto se questo se l’è procurato nella Scuola dello spirito.

La vita terrena può totalmente bastare per portare all’uomo la giusta conoscenza, quindi durante questo tempo può aver accolto una misura di sapere che gli assicura uno stato di piena felicità nell’aldilà, perché ora è in grado di distribuire il suo sapere e come Forza d’insegnamento adempie di nuovo un compito che è posto ad ogni anima, perché questo compito è il Simbolo dell’Opera di Redenzione, perché con il suo adempimento viene bandita l’oscurità e tutto l’essenziale guidato nella Luce.
