Trust in God.... promise: "Ask and you shall receive...."

The lack of trust in God will become quite obvious when people find themselves in great earthly adversity because they lack profound faith.... faith in a power which can change every event in the world through its will. The believer surrenders to this power with complete trust because he knows that the love and omnipotence of God wants to help him and can help him, and thus the full believer has an advantage over the unbeliever because he is often spared anxiety and worry, whereas the unbeliever lives in constant anxiety and worry because he has no one to turn to who can relieve him of this. Trust in God therefore requires deep faith, but at the same time trust in God determines the depth, i.e. intimacy, of prayer. For he who is full of trust in God will come to God in all the needs of body and soul and ask Him for His help.... He will call upon Him in his heart, and thus the fervent prayer rises up to God. And the father in heaven hears this because His love for His children is so great that He does not want to leave them in suffering and sorrow. But where there is a lack of full confidence that God can and wants to help, prayer will only timidly rise up to God and the help will be correspondingly weak. It is therefore absolutely necessary to penetrate to a strong faith, because it only results in heartfelt prayer to God and thereby the connection with God is established much more easily. In strong faith the human being feels closer to God and he is able to pray in spirit and in truth, i.e. to speak to Him unbiasedly, and the sooner his prayers will be able to be answered, for a prayer sent to God in profound faith and full trust must necessarily result in fulfilment, because God Himself has promised people that He will give them what they desire.... "Ask and you shall receive...." And what God has promised will always and forever remain pure truth.... So if He has given people the assurance that He will help them, they can also believe without doubt that He will do so and now let their confidence grow strong. And from that hour on earthly life will also be easier to bear, for what the human being's own strength is not sufficient for he will be able to do with the support of God's strength, which the fully believing human being can and will request, because God Himself has placed it in people's hearts to ask Him if they need His help. Strong faith can also be requested and God will also answer this prayer, for if a person asks for spiritual possessions he will never make a wrong request....

La fiducia in Dio – La Promessa: “Chiedete e riceverete”

La mancanza della fiducia in Dio si manifesterà del tutto evidentemente, quando gli uomini si trovano in grande miseria terrena, perché a loro manca la profonda fede, la fede in un Potere, che può cambiare ogni avvenimento nel mondo mediante la Sua Volontà. L’uomo credente s’affida pieno di fiducia a questo Potere perché sa, che l’Amore e l’Onnipotenza di Dio vuole e può aiutarlo, e con ciò l’uomo credente è in vantaggio rispetto al miscredente, perché sovente gli rimane risparmiata la paura e la preoccupazione, mentre invece il miscredente vive in costante inquietudine e preoccupazione, perché non può rivolgersi a nessuno che gliele toglie. La fiducia in Dio premette perciò una profonda fede, la fiducia in Dio è però contemporaneamente determinante per la profondità, cioè la dedizione della preghiera. Perché chi è pieno di fiducia in Dio, verrà a Dio in tutte le miserie del corpo e dell’anima e chiederà la Sua Assistenza, Lo invocherà nel cuore, e così l’intima preghiera sale a Dio. Ed il Padre nel Cielo l’esaudisce, perché il Suo Amore per i Suoi figli è così grande, che non vuole lasciarli nella sofferenza e preoccupazione. Ma dove manca la piena confidenza, che Dio può aiutare e vuole aiutare, là la preghiera sale soltanto timidamente a Dio, e rispettivamente debole sarà anche l’Aiuto. La compenetrazione alla forte fede è assolutamente necessaria, perché ha per conseguenza l’intima preghiera e da ciò il contatto con Dio viene stabilito più facilmente. L’uomo si sente più vicino a Dio nella forte fede ed è in grado di pregare nello Spirito e nella Verità, cioè di parlare con Lui liberamente, ed allora le sue preghiere potranno venire esaudite prima, perché una preghiera mandata a Dio nella profonda fede e piena fiducia deve avere per conseguenza assolutamente l’esaudimento, perché Dio Stesso ha promesso agli uomini, che Egli darà a loro ciò che desiderano. “Pregate e riceverete.... ” E quello che Dio ha promesso, rimane sempre ed in eterno la pura Verità. Se Egli quindi ha dato agli uomini l’assicurazione di aiutarli, possono anche credere senza dubbio che Egli lo fa ed ora far diventare forte la loro fiducia. E sin dall’ora la vita terrena sarà più facilmente sopportabile, perché per cui la propria forza dell’uomo non è sufficiente, lo potrà ottenere con il Sostegno della Forza di Dio, che l’uomo pienamente credente può richiedere e richiederà, perché Dio Stesso ha messo nel cuore degli uomini, di chiederGli, quando ha bisogno del Suo Aiuto. Può essere richiesta una forte fede, e Dio esaudirà anche questa preghiera, perché quando l’uomo chiede del bene spirituale, non farà mai una richiesta errata.
