Consciously lived life on earth....

Earthly life has to be lived consciously, i.e. the human being has to recognize a purpose in his earthly life and try to fulfil this purpose and reach his goal. The knowledge of the meaning and purpose of earthly life will now determine his walk if he is willing to reach the right goal, then he lives his life consciously. Nor is this knowledge withheld from any human being, for even if he is not informed of it by fellow human beings who teach him, his thoughts will be directed towards it by spiritual beings, so that every person will once ask himself the question about the actual purpose of his earthly life and this question will be answered mentally. Whether he now recognizes this answer depends on his will to what is right and to truth. The rightly acting and thinking person does not resist accepting these mental indications, and thus he will now also make rapid progress in his knowledge either through further mental instructions or mental exchange with people who are of the same mind, or through opposing views challenge his expressions of opinion and strengthen him in the views he has gained himself. And thus faith will come alive in him.... for he will inevitably reflect on the nature of the eternal deity Who has given the human being an earthly task, Who has placed him into the universe as the centre of creation and linked him to a specific purpose. Thus man seeks to fathom the deity.... And God also approaches such searching people.... and again the answer comes to him. And thus his knowledge increases, for God Himself teaches him because He instructs everyone who wants to recognize Him. A person will live his earthly life consciously if he deals with spiritual problems.... On the other hand, he who only desires the world and only strives for earthly goods lives his life without asking questions about purpose and goal. And his life is lived in vain, for he does not mature in spirit, he remains imperfect as long as he does not seek the connection, and he only establishes this when he mentally occupies himself with questions about the eternal deity. Only then does he work on himself, for he who seeks to recognize God also recognizes his own inadequacy and seeks to change. And this searching and working on oneself is a consciously lived earthly existence which gives the soul the degree of maturity which is the purpose and goal of life on earth....

의식적으로 살았던 이 땅의 삶.

이 땅의 삶을 의식적으로 살아야만 한다. 다시 말해 인간은 자신의 이 땅의 삶의 목적을 깨닫고, 이 목적을 달성하고, 자신의 목표를 달성하려고 노력해야만 한다. 이 땅의 삶의 의미와 목적에 대한 지식이 그의 삶을 정할 것이다. 만약 그가 올바른 목표에 자원하여 도달하기를 원한다면, 그는 의식적으로 자신의 삶을 살게 된다. 이 지식은 또한 어떤 사람에게도 숨겨져 있지 않다. 왜냐면 가르치는 이웃사람을 통해 이에 관한 가르침을 얻지 못한 사람들이 있는 곳에도, 그들의 생각이 영의 존재에게 향하게 될 것이고, 이로써 모든 사람이 자신의 이 땅의 삶의 실제 목적에 대해 질문할 것이고, 이 질문에 대한 답변이 생각을 통해 그에게 주어질 것이기 때문이다.

그가 이 대답을 인정하게 될지는, 공의와 진리를 향한 그의 의지에 달려 있다. 공의하게 행하고 생각하는 사람은 이런 생각을 통한 가르침을 받아들이는 일을 거부하지 않는다. 그러므로 그는 이제 계속되는 생각을 통한 가르침이나, 같은 생각을 가진 사람들과 생각의 교환을 통해 또는 반대의 관점을 가진 사람이 그의 의견을 개진하도록 요구받아, 그가 가진 견해가 강하게 되는 일을 통해, 단지 그의 지식이 빠르게 자라게 될 것이다.

그러므로 그의 믿음이 생명력이 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 인간에게 이 땅의 과제를 주고, 인간을 우주의 창조물의 중심에 두고, 이와 함께 특정한 목적을 부여한 신성을 헤아려 보려고 할 것이기 때문이다. 하나님은 또한 이런 찾는 사람들에게 다가가고, 그는 다시 답을 받게 되고, 이로써 이제 그의 지식이 증가하게 된다. 왜냐하면 하나님 자신이 그를 가르치기 때문이다. 하나님이 알기를 원하는 모든 사람을 가르치기 때문이다. 인간이 영적인 문제를 가지고 생각할 때, 그는 자신의 이 땅의 삶을 의식적으로 살게 될 것이다.

반면에 단지 세상을 갈망하고, 단지 세상의 재물을 추구하는 사람은 자신의 삶의 목적과 목표에 대한 질문을 하지 않고, 그냥 살아간다. 그의 삶은 헛되게 산 삶이다. 왜냐면 그가 영적으로 성숙하지 못했고, 그가 연결을 찾지 않는 동안에는 온전하지 못한 채로 머물기 때문이다. 그가 생각으로 영원한 신성에 관한 질문에 몰두할 때, 이런 연결을 찾을 수 있고, 그러면 그는 스스로 자신에 대한 작업을 한다. 왜냐하면 하나님을 깨닫기 원하는 사람은 자신의 부족함을 깨닫고, 자신을 변화시키려고 하기 때문이다. 이런 구하는 일과 자기 자신에 대한 작업을 하는 일이 의식적으로 사는 이 땅의 삶이다. 이런 삶이 혼에게 이 땅의 삶의 목적이자 목표인 영적인 성숙에 이르게 한다.
