Unification of the soul with the spirit act of grace....

The fact that the soul can unite with the spirit is an act of grace of the greatest significance. It is the spiritual spark, which God has put into every man, divine share, it is a spark of divine love, which for the time being still lacks the soul and now establishes the connection between that, what was begotten by the opponent of God in the wrong will, and the giver of the power, which was needed for the begetting. It is God's share of the spark of love, but it can also be misused by the human being by turning the love towards the one who has begotten the being. But it can also develop into a brightly blazing flame of love when the spark of love strives back to God. When the soul unites with the spirit within itself, then all of the human being's thinking, feeling and willing is directed towards making contact with divine love itself. Soul and spirit then strive back to eternal love, to the spirit of God. If the soul had not been joined by the divine spiritual spark, it would hardly pass its last test of life on earth. It would inevitably fall back again and strive towards the one to whom it was in bondage for endless times, as it would lack the knowledge of what is God's share. But the spirit within it seeks to turn it towards the eternal divine. It therefore wrestles with God's adversary for the soul, although it does not force it to join him. But he does have an influence on the soul if it is not completely resistant. God thus helps the weak by giving him a strength which he only needs to utilize. For the divine spiritual spark in every human heart is strength, just as God Himself is strength in Himself. It is now an incomparable blessing when the soul unites with the spirit, i.e. utilizes the strength it is entitled to through God's great love. For to unite with the spirit means to be relieved of all responsibility for the soul, for then the spark of the spirit, the strength from God, will guide the human being's thoughts, and whatever he now begins will find the approval of the heavenly father. And thus the union of the spiritual spark with the soul is the certainty for the final return to God, for the divine spiritual spark radiates from God and also back to Him again. And it draws the soul with it, as it were. But the divine spiritual spark is love, it will teach love, and therefore the human being, whose soul unites with the spirit, must completely shape himself into love, he must overcome the love for matter and ignite in ardent love for God, and the soul is regained by God, it has become one with the one Who is love Itself....

혼이 영과 하나가 되는 일은 은혜의 역사이다.

혼이 영과 연합할 수 있게 되는 일은 가장 큰 의미를 가진 은혜의 역사이다. 하나님은 모든 인간 안에 넣어준 영의 불씨는 하나님의 일부분이고, 혼에게 아직 부족한 하나님의 사랑의 불씨이고, 하나님의 대적자의 잘못된 의지에 의해 생성된 존재와 생성할 때 필요한 힘의 제공자와의 연결을 이제 이룬다. 사랑의 불씨는 하나님의 일부이다. 그러나 사람이 이런 사랑을 존재를 생성한 자에게 향하게 하면서, 잘못 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 사랑의 불씨가 하나님께 돌아가기를 추구할 때, 사랑의 불씨가 타오르는 사랑의 화염으로 성장할 수 있다.

혼이 이제 영과 연합하면, 인간의 모든 생각과 느낌과 의지는 하나님의 사랑 자신과 접촉하려고 한다. 그러므로 혼과 영은 영원한 사랑으로, 하나님의 영으로 돌아간다. 하나님의 영의 불씨가 혼에게 주어지지 않았다면, 혼은 마지막 이 땅의 삶의 시험을 거의 통과하지 못했을 것이다. 혼은 불가피하게 다시 퇴보하고, 끝없는 시간을 통해 자신이 따랐던 자를 추구하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 혼에게 하나님의 일부분에 대한 깨달음이 부족하기 때문이다.

그러나 혼 안의 영은 혼이 영원한 하나님께 돌아가게 만들려고 시도한다. 그러므로 영은 혼이 자신과 합류하도록 강요하지는 않지만, 혼을 위해 하나님의 대적자와 싸운다. 그러나 영은, 혼이 완전히 반항하지 않는다면, 혼에게 영향을 미친다. 하나님은 그들이 사용하기 만하면 되는 힘을 연약한 사람들에게 주어 연약한 사람들을 돕는다. 모든 사람의 심장 안에 있는 하나님의 영의 불씨는 힘이고, 마찬가지로 하나님 자신도 자체가 힘이다. 혼이 영과 연합하면, 즉 혼이 하나님의 큰 사랑을 통해 받을 수 있는 능력을 사용하면, 이런 일은 이제 비교할 수 없게 축복된 일이다.

왜냐면 영과 하나가 되는 일은 혼이 모든 책임을 벗어나는 것을 의미하고, 영의 불씨, 즉 하나님의 힘이 사람의 생각을 인도하고, 그가 이제 시작하는 일이 무엇이든, 하늘의 아버지의 동의를 받을 것이기 때문이다. 따라서 영의 불씨와 혼의 연합은 하나님께 최종적인 귀환을 보장한다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 영의 불씨는 하나님으로부터 발산되었고 또한 하나님께 돌아가기 때문이다. 영의 불씨는 동시에 혼을 자신에게 끌어당긴다. 그러나 하나님의 영의 불씨는 사랑이고, 사랑을 가르칠 것이다. 그러므로 혼이 영과 하나가 된 사람은 자신을 완전히 사랑으로 만들어야만 한다. 그는 물질을 사랑을 극복해야만 하고, 하나님을 향한 열렬한 사랑으로 불타올라야만 한다. 하나님은 혼을 다시 얻고, 혼은 사랑 자체인 분과 하나가 된다.
