Hunger for light.... desire or abuse of power....

The unredeemed being's hunger for light determines the duration of its bondage. As soon as the being perceives the light as a blessing and longs for it, it moves towards its final liberation. For now it strives towards God, thus gives up its rebelliousness and has escaped the enemy's control forever. And this state must have occurred before the being itself can become a recipient of light and strength, because then it will no longer misuse the light and strength it receives from God but will likewise utilize it for the redemption of the bound being. Everything that is bound needs help, it cannot become free by its own strength and the beings that are in full possession of the strength must give it some of it. But they can only do this when they themselves are in the light and have experienced the state of liberation as redemption, for only then are they constantly active to redeem what is still bound. And now the unredeemed being's desire for light and liberation is again decisive as to the abundance of light it can receive, for it must not be supplied to it arbitrarily and indiscriminately so that it is not used to increase the power of evil. For the unredeemed spiritual, whose will is too weak, is still too much influenced by the evil power and therefore turns the received power towards God's adversary as long as it complies with his will. But if the being desires the light then it longs for God and uses the strength it now receives in a God-pleasing way, and then the moment of liberation is not far away. The desire for light will therefore always be connected with the will to come close to God, for the being also unconsciously senses that God and light cannot be separated from each other. It will never be in bondage to God's adversary if it strives towards the light.... And therefore it can now also be given unlimited light and strength, for it will no longer misuse this but only utilize it for its own ascent. Thus, if the being receives light and strength in the form of the divine word it is already in a state that it has become a bearer of light and strength, thus it can pass on what it receives to beings in need of light and strength again. And now again the desire of those for light is decisive whether they make use of it or not. A weak-willed or stubborn person, for example, will never be able to receive strength through the imparted divine word if he does not let it have an effect on him in his desire for it. If he does not desire it, then it remains ineffective and therefore cannot be misused to increase evil power. The greater the desire for it, the more noticeable the effect. For standing in the light is such an incomprehensible, blissful state that it must be longed for with full awareness....

Lichthunger.... Begehren oder mißbrauchen der Kraft....

Der Lichthunger des unerlösten Wesens ist bestimmend für die Zeitdauer seiner Unfreiheit. Sobald das Wesen das Licht als Wohltat empfindet und danach verlangt, geht es seiner endgültigen Befreiung entgegen. Denn nun strebt es zu Gott, gibt also seine Widersetzlichkeit auf und ist für immer aus der Gewalt des Feindes entronnen. Und dieser Zustand muß eingetreten sein, bevor das Wesen selbst Licht- und Kraftempfänger werden kann, weil es dann das Licht und die Kraft, die ihm von Gott zugeht, nicht mehr mißbraucht, sondern sie nun gleichfalls zur Erlösung des Gebundenen nützt. Alles Gebundene bedarf der Hilfe, es kann aus eigener Kraft nicht frei werden, und es müssen die Wesen, die im Vollbesitz der Kraft sind, ihm davon abgeben. Dies können sie aber nur dann, wenn sie selbst im Licht stehen und den Zustand der Befreiung als Erlösung empfunden haben, denn nun erst sind sie unentwegt tätig, das noch Gebundene zu erlösen. Und nun ist wieder das Verlangen des unerlösten Wesens nach Licht und Befreiung maßgebend, in welcher Fülle das Licht ihm zugehen kann, denn willkürlich und wahllos darf es ihm nicht zugeführt werden, damit es nicht genützt wird zur Vermehrung der Kraft des Bösen. Denn das unerlöste Geistige, dessen Wille zu schwach ist, wird von der bösen Macht noch zu sehr beeinflußt und daher die empfangene Kraft dem Gegner Gottes zuwendet, sofern es dessen Willen nachkommt. Begehrt das Wesen aber das Licht, dann verlangt es nach Gott und nützet die ihm nun zugehende Kraft in Gott-gefälliger Weise, und dann ist der Moment des Freiwerdens nicht mehr weit. Das Verlangen nach Licht wird also immer verbunden sein mit dem Willen, in Gottnähe zu kommen, denn es spürt das Wesen auch unbewußt, daß Gott und Licht nicht voneinander zu trennen sind. Es wird niemals dem Gegner Gottes noch hörig sein, wenn es dem Licht entgegenstrebt.... Und darum kann es nun auch unbeschränkt mit Licht und Kraft bedacht werden, denn es wird dies nicht mehr mißbrauchen, sondern nur zum eigenen Aufstieg nützen. Geht also dem Wesen Licht und Kraft zu in Form des göttlichen Wortes, so ist es nun schon in einem Zustand, daß es Licht- und Kraftträger geworden ist, also das, was ihm vermittelt wird, wieder weitergeben kann an Licht und Kraft benötigende Wesen. Und nun ist wieder das Verlangen derer nach Licht maßgebend, ob sie davon Gebrauch machen oder nicht. Dem willensschwachen oder verstockten Menschen z.B. wird niemals Kraft zugehen können durch das übermittelte göttliche Wort, wenn er nicht im Verlangen danach dieses auf sich wirken läßt. Begehrt er es nicht, dann bleibt es wirkungslos, kann also auch nicht mißbraucht werden zur Vermehrung böser Kraft. Je größer das Verlangen danach, desto spürbarer die Wirkung. Denn im Licht zu stehen ist ein so unfaßbarer, beglückender Zustand, daß er mit vollem Bewußtsein ersehnt werden muß....
