Concept of eternity.... state of light.... unredeemed state....

The concept of eternity is incomprehensible to man as long as he still dwells on earth; but at the moment of death his soul is free and he now understands the incomprehensible.... There is no law of space and time, there is no physical limitation, everything is like an endless sea that embraces past, present and future; the spirit is free of all restraint and also master of time and space. Wherever it wants to be, it can be there, whatever it imagines is present to it. Nothing prevents it from dwelling in regions that are bright, light and clear, provided the soul has reached a degree of maturity that allows it to soar into regions of light. It leaves behind everything that seemed desirable to it on earth, it takes part in the emanation of light from God, it immerses itself in the flood of divine love, it hears the choirs of heavenly hosts, it has entered through the gate of eternal life into a kingdom of light, which is a different world than the earthly world. It turns towards the light, it seeks union with spiritually perfect beings and thus increases its state of bliss. And thus life in eternity is a thousand times more desirable than even the most beautiful earthly existence for a soul which has lived its life in a manner pleasing to God and is now called away into the eternal kingdom. God knows what degree of maturity a person can reach on earth and calls him to Himself if his soul is in danger or if the person has fulfilled His requirements.... And people should always leave it up to God when His love concludes a person's life, people should always be grateful to God when He redeems a soul from its external shackles. A silent submission to God's will should always fill people who are destined to experience severe earthly suffering due to the passing away of people close to their heart. For if they love them they should only consider the state of light and rejoice and be glad that this soul has travelled the path on earth and has now finally come to an end. And every prayer should only be for the attainment of maturity of soul, for this is the prerequisite for a state in the beyond which is enviable and compensates for all earthly suffering and torment. However, people who lack maturity of soul are to be pitied, for they still go through a hard school in the hereafter and must now first travel the path of purification, often in the most sensitive way. The struggle of life is easy to name compared to the suffering that now awaits the soul in order to reach that state which grants entry into the spheres of light. Unspeakable efforts still have to be made until the soul has loosened all fetters and can soar upwards without any ballast. For everything impure that still clings to the soul holds it back to earth as if with chains; it longs for it, shares in the suffering and pain of its loved ones and is thus hindered in its flight upwards. And even if it longs for the light, it still does not have the maturity to be a bearer and giver of light, and it is now a long path in the beyond, which it also experiences as a long time, since the laws of time and space have not yet been completely abolished and thus the concept of 'eternity' is still inconceivable to the soul. He who enters the light only leaves behind on earth what he has overcome and he truly does not long to return.... But he who leaves earth in a lack of maturity of soul is still very close to earth and tries to get in touch with his loved ones. He suffers, just as people on earth suffer from the separation from each other, and yet this separation is only so short and can be completely bridged as long as the soul already prays and pleads on earth that light and grace may flow to it through God's love and that the time will be used in accordance with divine will.... For its death will be an easy gliding over into eternal realms, and it will gladly and joyfully leave behind everything on earth which hinders its flight upwards....

Ewigkeitsbegriff.... Lichtzustand.... Unerlöster Zustand....

Der Ewigkeitsbegriff ist dem Menschen unverständlich, solange er noch auf Erden weilt; doch mit dem Moment des Todes ist seine Seele frei, und das Unfaßbare begreift er nun.... Es gibt kein Raum- und Zeitgesetz, es gibt keine körperliche Begrenzung, es ist alles wie ein endloses Meer, das Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft umschließt; es ist der Geist ledig jeglicher Fessel und auch Herr über Zeit und Raum. Wo er weilen will, dort kann er sein, was er sich vorstellt, das ist ihm gegenwärtig. Es hindert ihn nichts, sich in Regionen aufzuhalten, die hell, licht und klar sind, sofern die Seele einen Reifegrad erreicht hat, der das Hinaufschwingen in Lichtregionen zuläßt. Sie läßt alles zurück, was auf der Erde ihr begehrenswert erschien, sie nimmt teil an der Lichtausstrahlung aus Gott, sie geht unter in der Flut göttlicher Liebe, sie hört die Chöre himmlischer Heerscharen, sie ist eingegangen durch das Tor des ewigen Lebens in ein Lichtreich, das eine andere Welt ist als die irdische Welt. Sie wendet sich dem Licht zu, sie sucht den Zusammenschluß mit geistig vollkommenen Wesen und erhöht so ihren Seligkeitszustand. Und so ist das Leben in der Ewigkeit ums Tausendfache begehrenswerter als selbst das schönste Erdendasein für eine Seele, die in Gott-wohlgefälliger Weise ihren Lebenswandel geführt hat und nun abberufen wird in das ewige Reich. Gott weiß, welchen Reifegrad der Mensch auf Erden erreichen kann, und ruft ihn zu Sich, sofern seiner Seele Gefahr droht oder der Mensch Seinen Anforderungen nachgekommen ist.... Und immer sollen die Menschen es Gott überlassen, wann Seine Liebe das Leben eines Menschen beschließt, immer sollen die Menschen Gott dankbar sein, so Er eine Seele erlöst von ihren Außenfesseln. Immer soll eine stille Ergebung in Gottes Willen die Menschen erfüllen, denen schweres Erdenleid beschieden ist durch den Heimgang dem Herzen nahestehender Menschen. Denn so sie diese lieben, sollen sie nur den Lichtzustand in Erwägung ziehen und jubeln und frohlocken, daß diese Seele den Gang auf der Erde zurückgelegt und nun endgültig beendet hat. Und jedes Gebet soll nur der Erlangung der Seelenreife gelten, denn diese ist Vorbedingung für einen Zustand im Jenseits, der beneidenswert ist und für alle irdischen Leiden und Qualen entschädigt. Zu bedauern aber sind die Menschen, denen die Seelenreife mangelt, denn sie gehen im Jenseits noch durch eine harte Schule und müssen den Weg der Läuterung nun erst zurücklegen und oft in empfindlichster Weise. Der Lebenskampf ist leicht zu nennen gemessen an dem Leid, das nun die Seele erwartet, um jenen Zustand zu erreichen, der in die Lichtsphären Einlaß gewährt. Es müssen noch unsägliche Anstrengungen gemacht werden, bis die Seele alle Fesseln gelöst hat und ohne jeden Ballast zur Höhe sich schwingen kann. Denn alles Unreine, was der Seele noch anhaftet, hält sie wie mit Ketten an der Erde zurück; sie sehnt sich nach derselben, nimmt Teil am Leid und Schmerz ihrer Angehörigen und ist dadurch gehindert an ihrem Höhenflug. Und ob sie auch nach dem Licht verlangt, hat sie doch nicht die Reife, um Lichtträger und Lichtspender zu sein, und es ist nun ein langer Gang im Jenseits, den sie auch als lange Zeit empfindet, da das Zeit- und Raumgesetz noch nicht restlos aufgehoben ist und also auch der Begriff "Ewigkeit" der Seele noch unvorstellbar ist. Wer zum Licht eingeht, der läßt nur auf Erden zurück, was er überwunden hat, und er sehnt sich wahrlich nicht danach zurück.... Wer aber die Erde in mangelnder Seelenreife verläßt, der ist noch gar sehr in Erdennähe, und er sucht in Verbindung zu treten mit seinen Lieben. Er leidet, so wie die Menschen auf Erden leiden unter der Trennung voneinander, und doch ist diese Trennung nur so kurz und kann gänzlich überbrückt werden, sofern die Seele schon auf Erden bittet und fleht, daß Licht und Gnade ihr zufließen möge durch die Liebe Gottes und daß die Zeit genützet werde dem göttlichen Willen gemäß.... Denn deren Tod wird ein leichtes Hinübergleiten sein in ewige Gefilde, und freudig und gern läßt sie auf Erden alles zurück, was dem Flug zur Höhe hinderlich ist....
