Following Jesus....

There is only one path that leads to eternal life and to union with God.... the path via Jesus Christ, and anyone who rejects Christ will never be able to enter through the gates of heaven to eternal bliss. Man must walk the same path that Jesus walked on earth, the path of love and suffering, for only through love can he redeem himself and reduce the guilt of sin through suffering. And in order to be able to do this, the graces acquired through Jesus' death on the cross must be imparted to him, which he in turn can only receive if he recognizes Jesus Christ as redeemer and son of God. He must have faith in the divine saviour.... he must believe that God Himself sent Him to earth in order to be able to take up residence in Him in all fullness.... he must believe that divine love itself has descended to people, and only then does he prove his faith in God when he recognizes the act of salvation as an act of the greatest love for people and wants to share in the blessing of the act of salvation. Jesus says: "No one comes to the father except through Me...." Jesus does not speak these words as a human being, but they are to be understood spiritually. He Himself was pure love, and therefore man must mould himself into love in order to be united with the father, Who is love Himself. But if the human being is in love, then he will also recognize that Jesus Christ is also the epitome of the eternal deity. He will no longer be able to separate Christ from God, and thus love will be the only way to reach God. However, if a person does not recognize Christ, he can never think correctly. And even if he wants to affirm God, this is not a deep faith that separates God and Christ. He has a false concept of the eternal deity. Christian doctrine prescribes the two most important commandments: You shall love God above all things and your neighbour as yourself. In order to fulfil this commandment, He Himself must be love, and thus He must walk the same path that Jesus walked on earth; He must distribute love on all His paths through life, and since God is love Himself, He draws the eternal deity to Himself through every work of love, thus He unites Himself with It, and the same thing then takes place that caused Jesus to say: "The father and I are (‚are‘ was overwritten by ‚is‘ ed.) one...." He likewise united Himself with God through His greater than great love, so that He could utter these words with full justification, for His being was completely permeated by the divine spirit, thus the father was.... the eternal deity.... in the son, in that which had emanated from Him, and could no longer be eternally separated from each other. And this merging with the elemental force will always be the result of intimate love for God and for people, thus love is the path that leads to God. The work of redemption was the greatest work of love by a human being for the whole of humanity. Anyone who does not recognize this must be devoid of all love, otherwise he would want to recognize the connection most clearly and all doubt about the divinity of Jesus would disappear. Without love, however, the path to ascent can never be travelled, for then the human being does not follow Jesus; he does not belong to those who were redeemed by His death on the cross and is therefore lost for eternity....

예수님을 따르라.

영원한 생명과 하나님과의 연합으로 이끄는 길은 단 하나이다. 이 길은 예수 그리스도를 통하는 길이다. 그리스도를 거부하는 사람은 하늘나라 문을 통해 영원한 행복에 들어갈 수 없게 될 것이다. 인간은 사랑과 고통의 길인 예수님이 이 땅에서 걸은 길과 똑같은 길을 걸어야만 한다. 왜냐하면 사람은 사랑을 통해서만 자신을 구속할 수 있고, 고난을 통해 죄짐을 줄일 수 있기 때문이다.

그렇게 되기 위해서는 예수님이 십자가의 죽음을 통해 얻은 은혜가 그에게 전해져야만 한다. 다른 한편으로 그가 예수 그리스도를 구세주와 하나님의 아들로 인정한다면, 그는 단지 이 은혜를 받을 수 있다. 그는 하나님 자신이 모든 충만함으로 구세주 안에서 거할 수 있기 위해, 구세주를 이 땅에 보냈음을 믿어야만 한다. 그는 하나님의 사랑 자체가 사람들에게 내려왔다는 것을 믿어야만 한다. 그가 구속 사역을 사람들을 향한 가장 큰 사랑의 역사로 깨닫고, 구속 사역의 축복에 동참하기를 원하게 되면, 그는 비로소 하나님을 믿는 믿음을 증명한 것이다.

예수는 말했다: “아무도 나를 통하지 않고서는 아버지께 갈 수 없다.“ 예수는 이 말을 사람으로써 말하지 않았고, 이 말을 영적으로 이해해야만 한다. 예수 자신이 순수한 사랑이었다. 그러므로 인간은 사랑 자체인 아버지와 하나가 되기 위해 자신을 사랑으로 만들어야만 한다. 그러나 사람이 사랑 안에 거하면, 그는 또한 예수 그리스도가 영원한 신성의 본질임을 깨닫게 될 것이다. 그는 더 이상 그리스도를 하나님과 분리시킬 수 없게 될 것이다. 다시 말해 사랑이 단지 하나님께 나아가는 유일한 길이 될 것이다.

그러나 사람이 그리스도를 인정하지 않는다면, 그는 결코 올바른 생각을 가질 수 없다. 그가 하나님을 인정하기를 원할지라도, 하나님과 그리스도를 서로 분리시키는 일은 깊은 믿음이 아니다. 그는 영원한 신성에 대한 잘못된 개념을 만든다. 기독교의 가르침은 가장 중요한 두 계명을 규정하고 있다: "너는 무엇보다 하나님을 사랑하고, 이웃을 자신처럼 사랑해야 한다."

이 계명을 성취하기 위해서는 사람 자신이 사랑이 되어야만 한다. 그러므로 그는 예수님이 이 땅에서 가신 길과 같은 길을 가야만 한다. 그는 자신의 모든 삶의 길에서 사랑을 나눠줘야만 한다. 하나님이 사랑 자체이기 때문에, 그는 모든 사랑의 역사를 통해, 영원한 신성을 자신에게 끌어드린다. 이로써 그는 영원한 신성과 연합한다. 그러면 예수가 말씀한 것과 같은 일이 일어난다: “아버지와 나는 하나이다.“ 예수는 마찬가지로 그의 큰 사랑을 통해 하나님과 하나가 되고, 이로써 그는 온전한 권리로 이 말을 할 수 있었다. 왜냐하면 그의 성품이 하나님의 영에 의해 전적으로 충만하게 되었고, 그러므로 영원한 신성인 아버지가 자신으로부터 나온 아들 안에 거했고, 영원히 더 이상 서로 분리될 수 없게 되었다.

이런 원초적 힘과의 연합은 항상 하나님과 사람을 향한 진실된 사랑으로 표현될 것이다. 그러므로 사랑이 하나님께 인도하는 길이다. 구속역사는 모든 인류를 위한 한 사람의 가장 위대한 사랑의 역사였다. 이를 깨닫지 못하는 사람은 어떤 사랑도 없어야만 한다. 그렇지 않다면, 그는 연관관계를 선명하게 깨닫기를 원하게 되었을 것이고, 예수의 신성에 대한 모든 의심이 사라졌을 것이다. 그러나 사랑이 없이는, 높은 곳을 향한 길은 결코 갈 수 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 사람이 예수를 따르지 않기 때문이다. 그는 예수의 십자가의 죽음으로 구속받은 사람들의 무리에 속하지 못하고, 이로써 영원히 멸망을 받기 때문이다.
