Divine mercy.... request this....

The most significant moment in earthly life is the realization of one's own weakness and the attention of divine grace. Man will never recognize the latter as long as he believes himself to be strong. Only the feeling of weakness enables him to make use of divine grace, i.e. he desires something that takes away his feeling of weakness, and he then recognizes this tangible help as grace, as a gift, offered to him by God in love. And this realization is so significant for him because now, by asking for grace, the human being also consciously establishes a connection with God and this proves both his faith and his desire for God, which will certainly result in the soul's higher development. divine grace is a means of ascent, divine grace is furthermore already the fulfilment of prayer, it is proof of God's love; and where this expresses itself the human being need not fear that he will ever be forsaken by God. He need not fear a spiritual decline, but he need not fear earthly either, for the plea for divine grace will never remain unanswered, and standing in divine grace the human being will overcome everything. For divine grace is power that God bestows on people without their merit. Divine grace is not distributed according to worthiness, but all people can receive it without restriction, they only have to desire it and therefore ask for it. However, grace cannot be distributed unasked for. God will only ever draw people's attention to it or try to encourage them to desire His grace, but He will never give His grace to people who never believe they need it. These people are arrogant; they do not know that they are nothing if God wills it, but they believe that they can master everything in the world by their own strength. God has to show these people His strength, He has to make them helpless so that they then call upon Him for His grace, for then He will impart it to people and only then will the human being's soul begin to mature. But before that the walk on earth was without great spiritual success, although earthly man certainly found joy and physical satisfaction. Only what benefits the soul has lasting value, but not what the body desires and receives. And if the human being always and constantly asks for grace, the influx will never dry up, and living in divine grace brings the soul unimaginable blessings and is therefore the first and most important thing that must be recognized. For only now does the human being consciously work on his soul if he continuously requests divine grace so that it can flow to him unmeasured....

하나님의 은혜. 이것의 요구 사항.

이 땅의 삶에서 가장 중요한 순간은 자신의 약점과 하나님의 은혜의 공급을 깨닫는 일이다. 자신이 강하다고 느끼는 사람은 은혜의 공급을 결코 깨닫지 못하게 될 것이다. 연약하다는 느낌이 비로소 사람이 하나님의 은혜를 요청할 수 있게 만든다. 즉 그는 자신이 연약하다는 느낌을 없애 주는 무언가를 원하게 된다. 그러면 그는 하나님이 사랑으로 느낄 수 있게 그에게 준 도움을 은혜로, 선물로 깨닫게 된다.

이런 깨달음은 그에게 매우 중요하다. 왜냐하면 사람이 이제 은혜를 구하면서, 의식적으로 하나님과 연결을 이루고, 이제 확실하게 혼이 더 높은 성장을 하게 하는, 이런 일이 그의 믿음과 하나님을 향한 그의 소망을 증명하기 때문이다. 하나님의 은혜는 높은 곳을 향한 도움의 수단이다. 하나님의 은혜는 여기에 더하여 또한 기도의 성취이고, 하나님의 사랑의 증거이다. 하나님의 은혜가 나타나는 곳에서 사람은 그가 하나님에 의해 버림받을 까봐 두려워할 필요가 없다.

그는 영적인 퇴보를 두려워할 필요가 없다. 그러나 그는 이 땅에서도 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 은혜를 구하는 요청은 결코 성취되지 못하게 되지 않을 것이고, 하나님의 은혜 안에 선 사람은 모든 것을 극복할 것이기 때문이다. 하나님의 은혜는 사람들의 공로가 없는 사람들에게 주는 힘이기 때문이다. 하나님의 은혜는 적합성에 따라 분배되는 것이 아니고, 모든 사람이 제한 없이 받을 수 있다. 그러므로 단지 갈망하기만 하면 되고, 구하기만 하면 된다.

그러나 은혜를 구하지 않는 사람에게 은혜를 줄 수 없다. 하나님은 항상 단지 자신의 은혜를 갈망하도록 사람의 관심을 끌거나 자극하려고 노력을 하지만, 그러나 필요하지 않다고 믿는 사람들에게는 결코 은혜를 주지 않을 것이다. 이런 사람들은 스스로 거만한 사람들이다. 그들은 하나님이 원한다면, 자신이 아무것도 아니게 된다는 것을 모른다. 그러나 그들은 세상의 모든 것을 스스로 다스릴 수 있다고 믿는다. 하나님은 그런 사람들에게 자신의 강함을 보여줘야만 하고, 그들을 무기력하게 만들어야만 한다. 이로써 그들이 이제 하나님께 그의 은혜를 구하게 한다. 왜냐하면 그러면 하나님이 사람들에게 은혜를 베풀고, 그러면 비로소 사람의 혼이 성장하기 시작하기 때문이다.

그러나 사람이 세상적으로 실제 기쁨과 육체적인 만족을 찾았지만, 이 땅의 과정은 큰 영적 성공을 못한 것이다. 단지 혼에 유용한 것만이 지속적인 가치를 가지고 있고, 육체가 원하여, 받는 것은 지속적인 가치가 없다. 사람이 항상 끊임없이 은혜를 구한다면, 은혜의 흐름이 결코 마르지 않을 것이고, 하나님의 은혜 속에 사는 일이 혼에게 말할 수 없는 축복을 가져다줄 것이다. 그러므로 하나님의 은혜 속에 사는 일이 인정해야만 하는, 가장 중요한, 첫 번째의 조건이다. 왜냐하면 사람이 하나님의 은혜가 자신에게 측량할 수 없게 흘러가도록, 계속하여 하나님의 은혜를 요구할 때, 그는 이제 의식적으로 자신의 혼에 대한 작업을 하기 때문이다.
