Positive and negative forces....

Under the influence of positive forces the development of all beingness has to be an upward striving one, because inflowing power has to lead that what is to perfection. And so the course of development of the being is always guaranteed as long as spiritually mature powers take care of it, while all immature spiritual influences the course of development in a negative way, because then the beingness separates itself from the source of power and becomes weaker in itself, therefore declines. For now a separation takes place in that the spiritual substance joins again with that which had already been its abode before, with matter, which is the most secure means of the spiritually immature beings.... And this connection must inevitably mean separation from the spiritual world, for both cannot exist at the same time. One must always be realized at the expense of the other. Thus, if good spiritual strength is denied access there is also no possibility to ascend, for then opposing forces immediately take possession of the being and pull it down into their realm.... just as, conversely, the being ascends incredibly quickly if no power is granted to those forces, whereas good spiritual strength is desired and therefore also received. Every good thought, every deed of love, every pious prayer and the will directed towards God are requirements of good spiritual strength, thus they already cause the effect of this and thus inevitably already result in the higher development of the being. The desire for earthly good, earthly pleasures, self-interest or unkindness, on the other hand, are unmistakably the work of evil forces; they can never lead upwards, but certainly into the abyss, because they have no constructive but a destructive influence on all beings and can therefore only mean decline for this spiritual being. And so it follows that everything good increases the spiritual in itself, but everything bad has a destructive effect. It also follows that every spiritual endeavour must be successful because the good spiritual is attracted by it, so to speak, and an increase of that which is spiritual substance in itself must take place. For the good strives towards each other, just as the bad seeks to unite, but both paths will be completely opposite, thus must lead to the highest height or the deepest depth, depending on whether the good or the bad forces are allowed access....

Forze positive e negative

Il cammino del divenire di tutto l’essenziale sotto l’influenza di Forze positive deve far tendere verso l’Alto, perché delle Forze che affluiscono devono condurre alla perfezione di ciò che è, così il percorso di sviluppo dell’essere è sempre garantito, per quanto si prendono cura di lui delle Forze spiritualmente mature, mentre tutto lo spirituale immaturo influenza il percorso di sviluppo in modo negativo, perché allora l’essenziale si allontana dalla Fonte di Forza e diventa in sé più debole, quindi retrocede. Perché ora si svolge una separazione, mentre la sostanza spirituale si unisce di nuovo con ciò che già prima era stata la sua dimora, con la materia, che è il mezzo più sicuro dell’essere spiritualmente immaturo. E questa unificazione deve inevitabilmente significare la separazione dal mondo spirituale, perché ambedue insieme non possono sussistere. Una separazione deve sempre essere eseguita a spese dell’altro. Se ora alla Forza spirituale buona viene negato l’accesso, allora non c’è nemmeno nessuna possibilità di giungere in Alto, perché allora delle forze avverse prendono subito possesso dell’essere e lo attirano giù nel loro reame, come al contrario, l’essere giunge incredibilmente veloce in Alto, quando non viene concesso nessun potere a quelle forze, mentre invece viene desiderata la Forza spirituale buona e quindi la riceverà anche. Ogni buon pensiero, ogni azione d’amore, ogni pia preghiera e la volontà rivolta a Dio, sono richieste della Forza spiritualmente buona, quindi condizionano già anche l’effetto di questa ed hanno per conseguenza inevitabilmente già lo sviluppo verso l’Alto. Il desiderio per il bene terreno, per le gioie terrene, l’egoismo oppure il disamore invece sono l’evidente agire di forze cattive; non possono mai condurre in Alto, bensì nell’abisso, perché non hanno nessuna influenza edificante, ma distruttiva su tutto l’essenziale e possono significare solo retrocessione per tutto l’essenziale e con ciò per questo spirituale. E da ciò risulta, che tutto il bene aumenta in sé stesso dello spirituale, tutto il male però agisce in modo distruttivo. Inoltre ne risulta, che ogni tendere spirituale dev’essere di successo, perché lo spirituale buono ne viene per così dire attratto ed ora deve svolgersi appunto anche un accrescimento di ciò che è in sé sostanza spirituale. Perché il buono si attira reciprocamente, come anche il cattivo cerca di unirsi, ma le vie di ambedue saranno totalmente opposte, quindi devono condurre solo ad Altura più sublimi oppure all’abisso più profondo, secondo a quale Forza viene concesso l’accesso.
