Acceptance and understanding of the doctrine of salvation....

It remains a futile endeavour to try to make the meaning of the work of redemption clear to the world, for anyone who desires the world and only gives it his attention, his thoughts and desires, will never have an understanding of anything spiritual. The work of redemption, however, is a purely spiritual matter, for it only touches the life of the human soul. The worldly man, however, has little regard for the life of his soul, he only has the well-being of his body in mind and all his endeavours are only aimed at increasing earthly goods and earthly pleasures. Trying to make him understand the value and meaning of the work of redemption is unsuccessful because he lives without faith. Worldly life and spiritual endeavour are completely separate. Worldly endeavour is the will turned towards God's adversary, spiritual endeavour testifies to the desire for God. The adversary of God will never lead his followers to the divine saviour, rather he will do everything to keep the knowledge of the work of redemption away from them, thus influencing them to reject it. Only when a person learns to despise the world and its goods does he occupy his thoughts with the divine redeemer and come closer to the question of God's incarnation. And it will always be faith in Jesus Christ where the world has lost its appeal, where it appears to man as a vain dazzle and is therefore despised. For the thought of redemption can only take hold in the human heart when this heart is free from earthly desires, when it seriously concerns itself with spiritual things, when the state of the soul worries the person, when he therefore wants to bring help to the soul. Only then does the meaning of the work of redemption become understandable to him, only then does he want to make use of the grace of the work of redemption, and he now consciously seeks contact with the divine saviour, presents all his sins to Him, asks Him for forgiveness of his guilt and commends himself to Him and His grace. Then he has turned away from God's adversary and his will consciously strives towards the divine saviour and redeemer....

Aceptación y comprensión de la Enseñanza de la Redención....

Sigue siendo un intento desesperado de aclarar al mundo el significado de la obra de Redención porque quien desea el mundo y sólo le dedica su atención, sus pensamientos y sus esfuerzos, nunca comprenderá nada espiritual. Pero la obra de la Redención es un asunto puramente espiritual, porque sólo afecta la vida del alma del ser humano. Pero el ser humano mundano presta poca atención a la vida de su alma, sólo tiene en mente el bienestar de su cuerpo, y todo su esfuerzo está dirigido a aumentar los bienes y disfrutes terrenales.

Intentar hacerle comprender el valor y el significado de la obra de Redención es infructuoso porque él también vive sin fe. La vida mundana y el esfuerzo espiritual están completamente separados. El esfuerzo por el mundo es la voluntad dirigida hacia el oponente de Dios, el esfuerzo espiritual da testimonio del deseo por Dios. El oponente de Dios nunca conducirá a sus seguidores al divino Redentor, sino que hará todo lo posible para impedirles conocer la obra de la Redención y así influir en ellos para que la rechacen. Sólo cuando el hombre aprende a despreciar al mundo y sus bienes piensa en el divino Redentor y aborda la cuestión de la encarnación de Dios....

Y siempre habrá fe en Jesucristo allí donde el mundo haya perdido su encanto donde al humano le parezca una vana ilusión y, por tanto, sea despreciado. Porque la idea de la Redención sólo puede arraigar en el corazón humano cuando este corazón esté libre de deseos terrenales, cuando se preocupa seriamente por las cosas espirituales, cuando el estado del alma preocupa al hombre y por eso quiere llevar ayuda al alma.

Sólo entonces le resulta comprensible el significado de la obra de la Redención, entonces le gustaría reclamar la gracia de la obra de la Redención y ahora busca conscientemente la conexión con el divino Redentor, Le presenta todos sus pecados, Le pide que perdone su culpa y se encomienda a Él y a Su gracia. Entonces se ha alejado del oponente de Dios y su voluntad se esfuerza conscientemente hacia el divino Salvador y Redentor....
