Earthly and spiritual direction of thought....

Every thought which turns towards the spiritual is an overflow of divine flow of strength onto the human being, which is channelled through countless spiritually mature beings and conveyed to people by them. It is furthermore spiritual work insofar as the beings in the beyond fulfil their activity of love by passing on light and knowledge, that they therefore endeavour to impart to the still ignorant human being in the form of thoughts what they themselves possess in abundance but which the human being still lacks. These currents of strength do not reach people arbitrarily but always only as a result of the human will to receive them, i.e....... the human being's will shapes the direction of thought, thus it can desire spiritual knowledge but it can also only respond to earthly questions, and accordingly the human being will now be considered by spiritual strength or give himself the desired answer. Self-thinking is merely a function of the organs intended for this purpose, it is a utilization of the life force that is available to every human being, which he can use as he pleases, but which does not benefit him if he uses it for worthless things.... for things that are worthless for eternity. If he now uses the strength in order to increase the wealth of his soul, in order to thus receive information about his spiritual life, his destiny and his task in life, then spiritual strength will also be added and these currents of strength, which he himself had to be active to receive through his will, will be imparted to him. But then the success is unimaginable, for the human being is, as it were, drawn into that world. If he gives in to those thoughts he is also himself in the realm of the spiritual, his thoughts are far removed from the earthly, for they go back to where they started. The earthly-minded person will never receive this strength, for this would make him knowledgeable against his will.... The power from God is synonymous with light and knowledge. Whoever receives it must also increase in knowledge. But if knowledge were imparted to a person against his will he would not be able to grasp it, and this explains why even the word received from above, which provides the human being with information about every question, remains incomprehensible to the person who does not desire knowledge and is therefore also rejected, for it only comes to him as a mere word but not as divine revelation, and he only hears this word with his ears but not with his heart. So his train of thought is only focussed on earthly things. He is therefore purely intellectually active, i.e. only the power that was given to him to exist, to live, is at work in him, but it is not sufficient to grasp divine wisdom. If this is to become comprehensible to him, he must make contact with spiritual forces consciously or unconsciously.... He must ask them for their assistance or want other, i.e. spiritual areas to be opened up to him.... This will is an unconscious request for spiritual strength, and it will be complied with by his thoughts now taking that direction which leads to truth....

Direção terrestre e espiritual do pensamento....

Cada pensamento que se volta para o espiritual é um transbordamento de força divina para o ser humano, que é guiado através de inúmeras entidades espiritualmente maduras e fornecido às pessoas por elas. Além disso, é atividade espiritual, na medida em que os seres do além realizam sua atividade de amor, transmitindo luz e conhecimento, que eles se esforçam, portanto, para comunicar ao ser humano ainda ignorante, sob a forma de pensamentos, o que eles próprios possuem em abundância, mas que o ser humano ainda carece. Essas correntes de força não alcançam as pessoas arbitrariamente, mas apenas como resultado da vontade humana de recebê-las, ou seja, a vontade do ser humano molda a direção do pensamento, assim ele pode desejar o conhecimento espiritual, mas também só responder a perguntas terrenas, e, portanto, o ser humano será agora considerado pela força espiritual ou dar a si mesmo a resposta desejada. O auto-pensamento é apenas uma função dos órgãos destinados a este fim, é um uso da força vital disponível para cada ser humano, que ele pode usar como quiser, mas que não lhe serve de nada se ele a usar para coisas inúteis.... por coisas que não valem nada para a eternidade. Se ele agora usa a força para aumentar a riqueza da sua alma, assim para receber informações sobre sua vida espiritual, seu destino e sua tarefa na vida, então a força espiritual também entrará em jogo e essas correntes de força lhe serão transmitidas, as quais ele mesmo teve de trabalhar para receber através da sua vontade. Mas então o sucesso é inimaginável, pois o ser humano é, por assim dizer, atraído para esse mundo. Se ele cede a esses pensamentos, ele próprio também está no reino espiritual, seus pensamentos estão longe do terreno, pois eles retornam ao lugar de sua origem. A pessoa de espírito terreno nunca receberá essa força porque isso significaria que ela saberia contra a sua vontade.... A força de Deus é sinônimo de luz e conhecimento. Quem o recebe também deve aumentar o conhecimento. Mas se o conhecimento fosse transmitido ao ser humano contra a sua vontade ele não seria capaz de compreendê-lo, e isso explica porque até a Palavra recebida de cima, que informa o ser humano de cada pergunta, permanece incompreensível para o ser humano que não deseja o conhecimento e, portanto, também é rejeitado, pois só chega a ele como uma mera Palavra, mas não como revelação divina, e ele só ouve essa Palavra com seus ouvidos, mas não com seu coração. Assim, a sua linha de pensamento é dirigida apenas para as coisas terrenas. Ele é, portanto, puramente intelectualmente ativo, ou seja, somente a força que lhe foi dada para existir, para viver, mas que não é suficiente para captar a sabedoria divina. Para que isto se torne compreensível para ele, ele deve, consciente ou inconscientemente, fazer contato com as forças espirituais..... Ele tem que pedir-lhes a ajuda deles ou querer que outras áreas espirituais se abram a ele..... Esta vontade é um pedido inconsciente de força espiritual, e será satisfeita pelos seus pensamentos que agora tomam a direcção que leva à verdade....
