'Vengeance is Mine....'

Exacting revenge is not right before God, for then the human being will share the guilt because he gave way to an evil desire in him and is no longer pure at heart. Every feeling of unkindness is an obstacle towards ascent, the inner battle, however, is an advancement. As soon as the human being is antagonistically inclined towards the fellow human being and ponders retaliation he hands himself over to the power of evil and has to comply with its will, which always intends to increase unkindness. And this puts his state of soul at risk, for once he has given in to the enemy's desire it will be difficult for him to practise love, for the thought of revenge poisons his feelings. What his fellow human being has done to him is far less than what he is now doing to himself, for his fellow human being's wrong-doing consisted of causing him physical damage but he is damaging his soul and puts it into new fetters with every act of unkindness. He has no other benefit by doing so other than to satisfy his feeling of revenge and thereby hands himself over to the opponent's control, and to then return to activities of love is extremely difficult and can only be possible if he realises and regrets his wrong-doing. The vindictive person, however, is pleased with his action and far removed from a state of remorse. The human being shall repay evil with good, this way he will weaken the power of evil, acquire love and release himself as well as his opponent from the influence of evil, for his opponent will experience this as a beneficial act, providing he is not entirely obstinate, and will regret his action. Vengeance, however, is God's responsibility. And God is righteous, He truly administers vengeance according to merit.... He beholds the human being's heart and nothing remains hidden to Him. And it is His will to reform people and to make them realise their wrong-doing, just as He blesses those who patiently endure the other person's wrong-doing without rebelling against it or thinking of exacting revenge. 'Vengeance is Mine', says the Lord.... He thereby makes His will known to leave the responsibility of vengeance to Him, so as not to cause damage to your soul, which will be much greater than your fellow human being can ever inflict on you....

«La Vengeance est Mienne....»

Exercer la rétorsion n'est pas juste devant Dieu, parce qu'alors l'homme partagera la culpabilité du fait qu'il a cédé à un mauvais désir en lui et maintenant son cœur n'est plus pur. Chaque sentiment de désamour est un obstacle vers le Haut, la lutte intérieure par contre est un progrès. Dès que l'homme se positionne en mode hostile envers le prochain et concocte des représailles, lui-même se donne au pouvoir du malin et maintenant il doit accomplir sa volonté qui est toujours l'augmentation du désamour. Avec cela il met en danger l'état de son âme, parce que si entre temps il a cédé au désir de l'ennemi, alors il lui est difficile d’exercer l'amour, parce que la pensée de vengeance empoisonne son sentiment. Ce que lui a fait le prochain est beaucoup moins grave que ce qu’il fait lui-même maintenant parce que l'injustice du prochain consistait dans le fait de l'endommager physiquement, mais lui endommage son âme et lui met de nouvelles chaînes au travers de cet acte de désamour. Il n'a aucun autre avantage que de satisfaire son envie de vengeance et avec cela il se donne au pouvoir de l'adversaire et maintenant le retour à des activités d'amour est extrêmement difficile et peut être possible seulement lorsqu’il admet son erreur et se repent de son injustice. Mais l'homme avide de vengeance se réjouit de son action et est très loin de l'état de repentir. L'homme doit rétribuer le mal avec bien, alors il affaiblit le pouvoir du malin, se conquiert l'amour et libère l’amour ainsi que son adversaire de l'influence du pouvoir mauvais, parce que l'adversaire sent cela comme un acte de bienfaisance, s'il n'est pas entièrement obstiné et se repent de son action. La vengeance cependant est de la responsabilité de Dieu, or Dieu est juste et exerce la Vengeance vraiment selon le mérite. Il regarde dans le cœur de l'homme et rien ne lui reste caché. Sa Volonté est d'améliorer les hommes et de leur faire reconnaître leur injustice, ainsi Il bénit ceux qui supportent patiemment l'injustice du prochain sans se rebeller ou bien imaginer une vengeance. «La Vengeance est Mienne», dit le Seigneur. Avec cela Il annonce Sa Volonté pour que Lui soit laissé la responsabilité de la vengeance, pour que vous ne causiez pas à votre âme de dommages qui seraient bien plus grands que ceux que votre prochain ne puisse jamais vous faire.
