Reincarnation.... Spiritual vision....

Behold the stars of heaven, contemplate the firmament, and let your thoughts wander into the infinite universe which harbours works of creation in incomprehensible numbers.... Compared to these works of creation, man is only a tiny creature.... So it seems, and yet the whole of creation is intended to prepare the being for its stay on earth as a human being, thus the whole of creation is effectively a means to an end for the human being. The works of creation first had to bring the spiritual substance to a certain degree of maturity so that it could then take abode in the flesh, and be allowed to end its earthly progress with this stage. It was an infinitely long path on earth which, however, will now come to an end, regardless of how the soul's formation has developed, whether it is in a high or low state of maturity at the end of earthly life. The being has fulfilled its task on earth, but with which success, no longer changes the fact that the course on earth has now finally been covered, once physical death separates the soul from the body. The soul now enters the kingdom of the beyond, which at this point can be the kingdom of light for it but also a lightless abode if earthly life was not utilised. It would then be an act of infinite cruelty if the soul were to remain in its lightless state for eternities, if it were no longer offered any opportunity to make up for what it had missed on earth, if free will has decided to exchange the lightless (state) abode for brighter regions. And thus the soul is also offered the opportunity to liberate itself in the beyond. It is up to it to look for a sphere of activity which gives it the same possibilities for the soul's higher development as on earth, or to reject every such possibility and to remain in a state without light. God has allowed countless creations to come into being precisely for the purpose of the further development of such imperfect souls, far removed from human knowledge and also never fathomable to it intellectually. And so, if there is talk of reincarnation, this is certainly correct, but it will never take place on the same earth that once gave the human soul free rein. God's creations all harbour beings which still strive to ascend.... Only the perfect beings, the beings of light, no longer require any works of creation for their task or pleasing activity. Only as long as the being is still bound, that is, has not yet detached itself from matter, is its whereabouts a place of God’s visible creations in the universe, depending on its state of maturity, but always outside of earth, for its stay on earth ends with bodily death. The divine creations have come into being in so inconceivably many variations that all imperfect beings have the opportunity, according to their state of maturity, to constantly work on themselves and to continue or tackle the work of self-redemption which was started or neglected on earth. It will only ever depend on how strong the will of these beings is for the light, that is, to what extent the being has the desire to escape its present state and environment in order to reach lighter spheres. However, the unused time on earth can no longer be recaptured insofar as that the stay on earth in a correctly utilised will earns the being the degree of childship to God, which, on the other hand, is no longer possible, although the redemption from darkness and the entry into spheres of light is likewise an unimaginable state of happiness for the being, only the tasks of these beings are different from those of the true children of God.... Even if people gain insight into the activity of struggling and also redeemed beings through spiritual vision, they are nevertheless unable to assess the degree of light, and even less able to recognise the souls' current place of abode. Therfore, the souls are active as long as they desire to ascend, and this activity is erroneously regarded as earthly activity, thus the conclusion is drawn that these beings are on earth again. There are no essential characteristics which mark the present whereabouts; the spiritual observer sees more the actual activity of the beings than their surroundings, and these surroundings are only dimly recognisable to the observer; they also correspond to the being's state of light and are therefore completely different, but always adapted to the being's state of maturity and desire. Thus, if the being is still exceedingly earthbound, that is, if it is still attached to earth and its possessions with all its senses, the environment will also take on such forms, for the being creates this environment itself according to its desires. And therefore, the soul can certainly dwell in earthly realms without, however, still being connected to earth. The environment will adapt itself to its desire and state of maturity, however always only in its imagination, but which the spiritually seeing person regards as reality, and therefore comes to the erroneous thinking that these beings return again to earth and are therefore allowed to embody themselves again on earth. Imperfect beings can never arbitrarily return to earth if they have travelled the earthly path through inconceivably long times and have now concluded their earthly existence as a human being with the death of their body. What they have to expect afterwards, whether in a mature or immature state of soul, is spiritual life completely outside of earth, because the whole universe has to show creations, which are again destined to shape the spiritual within the universe, so that it can free itself from everything what still encircles the spiritual as a burden. And if earthly life has not brought this redemption to the being, it has to go through God's further creations so that it finally can reach the light and enjoy eternal bliss close to God....

다시 육신을 입는 일. 영의 눈.

하늘의 별을 보고, 궁창을 보고, 너희가 상상할 수 없게 많은 창조물들이 존재하고 있는, 무한한 우주로 향하게 하라. 이런 창조 작품과 비교하여 인간은 단지 아주 작은 피조물이다. 겉으로 보기에는 실제로 그렇다. 그러나 모든 창조물은 존재가 인간으로서 이 땅에 머물게 하기 위한 준비를 위한 것이다. 그러므로 말하자면 모든 창조물은 인간들에게 목적을 위한 수단이다.

창조물은 먼저 영적인 존재들을 어느 정도 성숙시켜야만 한다. 이로써 영적인 존재가 육체 안에 거할 수 있게 되고, 이 단계에서 이 땅의 과정을 끝낼 수 있게 해야 한다. 이 땅의 과정은 무한히 먼 길이다. 그러나 이 땅의 삶을 마칠 때, 혼이 높이 성장했거나 낮은 성장을 함으로써 혼의 상태가 어떻게 발전이 되었는지에 상관이 없이 이 과정은 끝이 난다. 존재는 이 땅의 과제를 완수했다. 그러나 육체의 죽음으로 혼이 육체와 분리가 될 때, 어떤 성공을 했던지 간에 이 땅의 과정을 최종적으로 마쳤다는 사실은 더 이상 바꿀 수 없다.

혼은 이제 저 세상의 나라로 들어간다. 저 세상이 이제 혼에게 빛의 나라가 될 수 있다. 그러나 또한 이 땅의 삶을 활용하지 않았다면, 빛이 없는 가운데 머물게 될 수 있다. 혼을 영원히 빛이 없는 상태에 머물게 한다면, 다시 말해 만약 자유의지로 빛이 없는 상태를 밝은 영역에 거하는 상태로 바꾸기로 결정한 혼에게 이 땅에서 하지 않은 일을 나중에 할 수 있는 어떤 기회도 주지 않는다면, 그런 일은 이제 무한하게 잔인한 행위가 될 것이다.

그러므로 혼은 또한 저세상에서 자신을 해방시킬 기회를 얻는다. 혼이 이 땅에서와 같이 혼의 더 높은 성장을 위한 동일한 가능성을 제공하는 활동의 영역을 찾거나, 그런 모든 가능성을 이제 거부하고, 빛이 없는 상태에 머무르는 일이 혼에게 달려 있다. 하나님은 인간의 지식과 이성으로는 결코 헤아릴 수 없는, 이런 온전하지 못한 혼의 성장을 위해, 수많은 창조물이 생성되게 했다. 만약 환생에 대해 말한다면, 이는 실제 옳은 것이다. 그러나 이런 환생은 인간의 혼을 언젠가 한번 이 땅의 과정을 거치고 자유롭게 된, 같은 땅에서는 결코 일어나지 않을 것이다.

하나님의 창조물은 아직 위를 향해 추구하고 있는 모든 존재를 포함하고 있다. 단지 완전한 존재인, 빛의 존재만이 그들의 과제나 행복한 활동을 위해 더 이상 창조물이 필요하지 않다. 단지 존재가 아직 묶여 있는 한, 즉 아직 물질로부터 분리되지 못한 동안에는, 성숙한 상태에 따라 존재가 거하는, 그러나 이 땅에 거하는 일이 육신의 죽음으로 끝이 났기 때문에, 항상 이 땅 밖에 있는 거처가, 하나님이 볼 수 있게 우주에 있게 한 창조물이다.

하나님의 창조물은 상상할 수 없을 정도로 많은 다양한 종류로 생성되어, 모든 온전하지 못한 존재가 성장한 상태에 알맞게 끊임없이 자신에 대한 작업을 하고, 이 땅에서 시작했거나, 하지 않은 자신을 구원하는 일을 계속하거나, 시작한다. 그 일은 항상 존재들의 빛을 향한 의지가 얼마나 강한 지에 달려있고, 존재가 더 밝은 영역에 도달하기 위해, 현재 상태와 환경을 벗어나려는 얼마나 큰 갈망을 가지고 있는 지에 달려 있다. 존재가 비록 어두움에서 벗어나고, 단지 그들의 과제가 진정한 하나님의 자녀와는 다르지만, 마찬가지로 존재에게 상상할 수 없게 축복된 상태인 빛의 영역으로 간다 할지라도, 단지 하나님의 자녀권에 도달하게 해주는 정도가 되도록 활용하지 않은 이 땅의 기간을 더 이상 보충할 수 없다.

만약에 사람들이 이제 영의 눈을 통해 고군분투하는 존재들과 구원을 받은 존재들을 본다면, 사람들은 여전히 빛의 정도를 측량할 수 없고, 혼이 지금 살고 있는 거주지는 더 적게 깨달을 수 있다. 그러므로 혼들이 위를 향한 갈망하는 동안에는 활동을 한다. 이런 활동을 이 땅의 활동처럼 잘못 간주되고 있고, 이로써 존재들이 다시 이 땅에서 산다는 결론을 내린다.

현재 거하는 장소를 특징 짓는 고유의 특징이 없다. 영의 눈으로 보는 사람은 주변 환경보다 존재가 실제 활동은 것을 더 많이 본다. 보는 사람이 주변 환경을 단지 막연하게 알아볼 수 있고, 주변 환경은 또한 존재의 빛 상태에 합당하게 되어 있다. 그러므로 전혀 다르지만, 그러나 항상 존재의 성숙한 상태와 존재의 갈망에 따라 알맞게 변화가 된다.

따라서 존재가 아직 아주 많이 이 땅에 묶여 있을 때, 다시 말해 모든 감각으로 이 땅과 이 땅의 재물에 연연해한다면, 환경도 그런 형태를 취하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 존재가 자신의 갈망에 따라 이런 환경을 스스로 만들기 때문이다. 그러므로 혼이 아직 이 땅에 묶여 있지 않은 상태에서 실제 이 땅의 영역에 거할 수 있다. 환경은 그의 갈망과 성숙한 상태에 알맞게 될 것이지만, 그러나 항상 그의 상상 속에서만 존재한다. 이를 영의 눈으로 보는 사람이 현실로 간주하고, 때문에 존재들이 이 땅으로 돌아갈 수 있다는, 다시 말해 이 땅에서 다시 육신을 입을 수 있다는 잘못된 생각에 도달한다.

온전하지 못한 존재들이 상상할 수 없을 정도로 오랜 시간 동안 이 땅의 과정을 거친 후, 이제 육신의 죽음으로 인간으로 이 땅의 존재하는 일을 마쳤다면, 결코 자신의 마음대로 이 땅으로 돌아갈 수 없다. 혼이 성숙한 상태에 있든, 성숙하지 못한 상태에 있든, 존재들이 나중에 기대해야 하는 영적인 체험은 완전히 이 땅의 밖에서 이뤄진다. 왜냐하면 모든 우주 안의 영적인 존재들이 자신에게 부담을 주는, 자신을 감싸고 있는 것으로부터 자유롭게 될 수 있도록, 존재들을 양육하도록 의도한 창조물들이 모든 우주에 있기 때문이다. 이 땅의 삶이 이런 구원을 존재에게 주지 못했다면, 존재는 더 많은 하나님의 창조물을 거치는 과정을 가야만 한다. 이로써 존재가 마침내 빛에 도달하고, 하나님 가까이에서 영원한 축복을 누릴 수 있게 해야 한다.
