Arrogance.... conscious request for divine power....

That is your greatest mistake, that you think yourselves to be in full possession of all strength and believe yourselves to be able to master earthly life alone. And thus you reject the thought that you are in need of help and therefore could also call upon Him for help one day. And therefore your attitude towards God is negative, you don't regocnize Him and thus His constant activity is not apparent to you. And this is an extremely dangerous attitude, for you thereby reduce the strength God gives you for your physical life. He has to diminish it in order to let you regocnize your own powerlessness, He has to let illness and physical suffering come upon you so that you regocnize a higher power in it. The supply of strength from God will be allocated to you as you intend to utilize it. The strength from God is at your disposal unmeasured for your spiritual maturing, but if you do not request it and only need it for the sake of earthly life you will only be able to receive what is absolutely necessary for earthly life, yet all spiritual supply of strength will be withheld from you until you consciously request it. And this lack of strength can only lead you to spiritual decline, for you do not strive for progress and only think of physical well-being. Divine strength has been given to you throughout immemorial times without your will being necessary. But in earth life the will itself must become active to consciously request the power which is at your disposal because otherwise man would be an unfree being which would again be dependent on divine will. The union with spiritual strength is the actual higher development of the spiritual.... To now impart spiritual strength to the being without request would mean to forcibly promote the higher development of the spiritual, and this is completely impossible according to divine law, for such a course of development could never result in God-like beings. The being can reach the highest through its will, but without letting it become active all progress is impossible. Consequently, the human will must always be influenced so that it turns towards God, submits itself to Him and thus also desires strength for spiritual well-being. But people's spiritual state is devoid of light, they do not regocnize the need for help from the eternal deity, they constantly only think of earthly needs and reject every spiritual admonition. They are so far away from God and do not want to regocnize Him nearby and yet believe themselves to be far more advanced in their knowledge because they believe themselves to be unencumbered and free, whereas they want to persuade the spiritually aspiring to be restricted and burdened. And this is also how the young generation is brought up, that they believe themselves to be powerful and strong and capable of carving out their earthly life according to a well thought-out plan. And they lack the supply of strength from God, for they do not desire it. But when the day comes that teaches humanity otherwise, boundless misery and fear will befall people who regocnize their own power as null and void and are at the mercy of powers they cannot withstand. Then the human being will have to decide to perish or to stretch out his hands imploringly towards Him Whom he has so far misjudged, so that He may help him and leave him earthly life for the purpose of the soul's higher development, whose degree of maturity is very low. Yet blessed is he who regocnizes this in the hours of greatest need, God will stand by him and save him....

Esse é o vosso maior erro, que vocês acreditam estar em plena posse de todas as forças e dominar a vida terrena sozinhos. E, portanto, rejeitas o pensamento de que precisas de ajuda e, portanto, também poderias um dia pedir ajuda. E por isso a tua atitude para com Deus é negativa, não O reconheces e por isso o Seu trabalho constante não é evidente para ti. E esta é uma atitude extremamente perigosa, pois você reduz assim a força que Deus lhe dá para a vida física. Ele tem de reduzi-la para que reconheçais a vossa própria impotência, Ele tem de deixar que a doença e o sofrimento físico venham sobre vós, para que reconheçais um poder superior nela. O suprimento de força de Deus será medido para você de tal forma que você pretende utilizá-lo. A força de Deus está à sua disposição sem medidas para o amadurecimento espiritual, mas se você não a pedir para isso e só precisar dela por causa da vida terrena, você também só poderá receber o que é absolutamente necessário para a vida terrena, mas todo o suprimento espiritual de força lhe será negado até que você o peça conscientemente. E essa falta de força só pode levá-lo ao declínio espiritual, pois você não se esforça pelo progresso e só pensa no bem-estar físico. A força divina foi-vos fornecida através dos tempos imemoriais, sem que a vossa vontade fosse necessária. Mas na vida terrena a própria vontade deve tornar-se ativa para pedir conscientemente a força que está à sua disposição, caso contrário o ser humano seria um ser não livre que dependeria novamente da vontade divina. A união com a força espiritual é o verdadeiro desenvolvimento superior da.... espiritual. Transmitir força espiritual ao ser sem uma exigência significaria promover à força o desenvolvimento superior do ser espiritual, e isso está completamente fora de questão de acordo com a lei divina, pois tal curso de desenvolvimento nunca poderia produzir seres semelhantes a Deus. O ser pode alcançar o mais alto através de sua vontade, porém, sem deixar que isso se torne ativo todo o progresso é impossível. Consequentemente, a vontade humana deve ser sempre influenciada a voltar-se para Deus, a submeter-se a Ele e assim desejar também força para o bem-estar espiritual. Mas o estado espiritual das pessoas é sem luz, elas não vêem a necessidade de ajuda da Deidade eterna, elas constantemente pensam apenas nas necessidades terrenas e rejeitam toda admoestação espiritual. Eles estão tão distantes de Deus e não querem reconhecê-lo nas proximidades e ainda pensam que estão muito mais avançados em seu conhecimento porque acreditam ser livres e livres, ao passo que querem falar a pessoa espiritualmente esforçada em restrições e fardos. E é assim também que a geração mais jovem é criada, para que ela acredite ser poderosa e forte e capaz de esculpir sua vida terrena de acordo com um plano bem pensado. E falta-lhes o suprimento de força de Deus, porque não o desejam. Mas se chegar o dia que ensina à humanidade o contrário, uma miséria e uma ansiedade sem limites recairão sobre as pessoas que reconhecem o seu próprio poder como vazio e estão expostas a forças às quais não podem fazer frente. Então o ser humano terá de decidir perecer ou estender as mãos implorando-lhe, a quem até agora julgou mal, para que o ajude e lhe deixe a vida terrena com o propósito de um desenvolvimento mais elevado da alma, cujo grau de maturidade é muito baixo. Mas bendito aquele que reconhece isto nas horas de maior necessidade, Deus o ajudará e o salvará....
