Knowledge of the spiritual necessary.... consciously working towards perfection....

The course on earth requires a certain knowledge of the spiritual, for this stimulates his endeavour without forcing the human being to ennoble himself. Ignorance of it does not exclude that man also develops spiritually higher, only then the being must have extraordinary desire for God and be extraordinarily lovingly active. Both must lie dormant deep within him, i.e. the being in him must already be aware of its origin from God and, without any knowledge of the divine essence, unconsciously unite itself with God through deepest love and therefore cannot help but be good. But this already presupposes a rather high degree of maturity which is extremely rare in an earthly being. This is why people who lack all knowledge of the spiritual will usually be at a lower level; they will only ever regard their earthly existence as an end but not as a means to an end. Only the knowledge of the spiritual changes their view, and only then do they live consciously on earth.... aware of their task and also aware of the consequences of a right or wrong life on earth. He makes a distinction between right and wrong earthly life and this is the beginning of the striving for ascent....

These are often grave thoughts which can make a seriously striving earthly child waver if they are not dispelled from the spiritual side and a clear answer is given to the person. On the one hand, man believes himself to be free from guilt, and on the other hand, the feeling of unworthiness weighs him down, so he also regocnizes a certain guilt. Both the former and the latter are now an obstacle to the right realization.... For he who feels himself blameless does not utilize the opportunities offered to his soul.... he does not feel needy, therefore he does not accept what is offered to him.... And the feeling of unworthiness again makes him sometimes despondent and timid.... He does not dare to desire what is available to him in abundance. And so these reservations must first be dispelled. The earthly child must certainly regocnize his still low spiritual state, however, the spiritual working, which is made visible to him through spiritual teachings, must also take away his own despondency, he must now also make use of the spiritual strength and do everything to become worthy of this grace, which is the working of spiritual forces in the beyond for him. If he opens his heart to those teachings which inform him of spiritual working he will also immediately feel the strength and help of those beings and consciously accept them.... Yet this strength can hardly be conveyed to someone who is completely ignorant because he does not open himself and thus does not want to receive it. And everything divine has to be desired because receiving it without desire would judge the being and lead it to a state of maturity which is not the result of its free will.... But in order to desire something, the human being must have knowledge of it and then be free to ask for it or to reject it. This is why the concern of all beings in the beyond is to initiate the completely ignorant human being into everything spiritual, only then can he consciously work on himself and his perfection....

Es necesario el conocimiento de lo espiritual.... Trabajar conscientemente hacia la perfección....

El curso de la tierra requiere un cierto conocimiento de lo espiritual, porque esto estimulo su esfuerzo sin obligar al hombre a refinarse. El desconocimiento de esto no impide que el ser humano se desarrolle espiritualmente más alto, pero entonces el ser debe tener un deseo extraordinario hacia Dios y participar en actividades excepcionalmente amorosas. Ambos deben permanecer dormidos dentro de él, es decir, la esencia dentro de él ya debe ser consciente de su origen en Dios y, sin ningún conocimiento del Ser divino conectarse inconscientemente con Dios a través del amor más profundo y por lo tanto no puede hacer otra cosa que ser bueno.

Pero esto ya requiere un nivel de madurez bastante alto, lo cual es extremadamente raro en un ser terrenal. Por lo tanto, las personas que carecen de cualquier conocimiento de lo espiritual generalmente estarán en un nivel bajo; Siempre verán su existencia como un fin, no como un medio para lograr un fin. Sólo el conocimiento de lo espiritual cambia su visión, y sólo ahora viven conscientemente en la tierra.... conscientes de su tarea y también conscientes de las consecuencias de una vida vivida correcta o incorrecta en la tierra. Él hace una distinción entre una vida terrenal correcta e incorrecta y eso es el comienzo de la lucha por lo superior....

A menudo hay pensamientos serios que pueden hacer vacilar a un niño terrenal que se esfuerza seriamente si no se dispersan desde el lado espiritual y el ser humano recibe una respuesta clara. Por un lado, el hombre cree que está libre de culpa y, por otro, el sentimiento de la indignidad le agobia, por lo que también reconoce cierta culpa. Tanto lo primero como lo último son obstáculos para el conocimiento correcto.... Porque quien se siente libre de culpa no aprovecha las oportunidades que se le ofrecen a su alma.... no se siente necesitado, por eso no acepta lo que se le ofrece a él....

Y el sentimiento de indignidad lo vuelve a veces desanimado y tímido.... No se atreve a desear lo que tiene a su alcance en abundancia. Por eso, primero hay que disipar esas preocupaciones. El niño terrenal ciertamente debe reconocer su estado de ánimo aún bajo, pero el trabajo espiritual, que se aclara a través de las enseñanzas espirituales, también debe quitarle su propio desánimo; ahora también debe hacer uso de su fuerza espiritual y hacer todo lo posible para hacerse digno de esta gracia, que es obra de fuerzas espirituales del otro mundo para él. Si abre su corazón a aquellas enseñanzas que le proveen información sobre el trabajo espiritual, inmediatamente siente la fuerza y la ayuda de esos seres, y las acepta conscientemente....

Pero esta fuerza difícilmente puede concederse a alguien que es completamente ignorante porque no se abre, es decir, no quiere recibir. Y todo lo divino debe ser deseado porque recurrir a ello sin deseo juzgaría al ser y lo conduciría a un estado de madurez que no es el resultado de su libre albedrío.... Pero para desear algo, el hombre debe tener conocimiento al respecto y luego ser libre de pedirlo o despreciarlo. Por eso la preocupación de todos los seres del más allá es iniciar al hombre completamente ignorante en todo lo espiritual, sólo entonces podrá trabajar conscientemente en sí mismo y su perfección.
