Humility of spirit.... arrogance....

Practizing humility of spirit means a noticeable progress of the soul.... You humans often don't realize how easily and quickly you fall into the trap of becoming spiritually arrogant, i.e., you don't resist the thoughts which make you arrogant and make you believe that you are infallible in the spiritual field.... Behold, a small hint is often enough that you already feel called to offer your knowledge even though you yourselves have not yet penetrated all truth.... And you eagerly defend your opinion, you only accept your opinion and are thus completely convinced of the truthfulness of your words.... and yet you are wrong.... And this is only because you have lost your childlike humility and can therefore be called spiritually arrogant. You are indeed taught by God and God protects His servants on earth from conscious deception.... and these servants of His also have the best will to give back to people what they were taught, yet they often find themselves in situations in life which demand a certain superiority.... and in order to motivate them, he gives himself knowledge that has not yet been imparted to him.... he draws on intellectual knowledge but never consults his heart.... he therefore does not wait for the working of the spirit in him, but anticipates it.... He exalts himself where he should remain in all humility until the divine spirit descends upon him. This is only an indication of the great danger that can threaten a servant of God if he is not very serious about communicating the pure truth.... about communicating the pure word of God.... As long as really true love of one's neighbour dominates a person, it will be impossible for deep humility to slip away and arrogance to express itself instead, because true love does not seek its own honour and advantage.... it simply shows love to people, it gives, and that without any restriction, and it will also always and constantly remain in humility, for it has no desire for recognition at all and only ever gives to its fellow human beings without claiming to be considered wise and knowledgeable itself. The loving person is completely satisfied with the success he achieves for the other person's soul, he has no other endeavour than to remove the darkness of his fellow human being's spirit and otherwise remains what he was until now.... an industrious, modest servant of God, who in deepest humility receives the gifts from the father's hand and willingly passes them on at all times.... For all divine grace is rooted in the deepest humility.... however, spiritual arrogance means spiritual stagnation, and therefore the lord warns you, His servants on earth, that you may fulfil your task and work for blessing as long as you dwell on earth....

Demut des Geistes.... Überheblichkeit....

Sich in Demut des Geistes zu üben bedeutet einen merklichen Fortschritt der Seele.... Ihr Menschen wisset oft nicht, wie leicht und schnell ihr in den Fehler verfallet, geistig überheblich zu werden, d.h., ihr wehret nicht den Gedanken, die euch selbst hochmütig machen und euch glauben lassen, daß ihr auf geistigem Gebiet unfehlbar seid.... Sehet, oft genügt ein kleiner Hinweis, daß ihr euch auch schon berufen fühlt, euer Wissen anzubringen, obwohl ihr selbst noch nicht eingedrungen seid in alle Wahrheit.... Und ihr vertretet eifrig eure Anschauung, ihr lasset nur eure Meinung gelten und seid so völlig überzeugt von der Wahrhaftigkeit eurer Worte.... und ihr irret doch.... Und dies allein darum, weil ihr die kindliche Demut verloren habt und ihr also geistig überheblich genannt werden könnt. Ihr seid wohl von Gott gelehrt, und Gott schützet Seine Diener auf Erden vor bewußter Irreführung.... und diese Seine Diener haben auch das beste Wollen, den Menschen wiederzugeben, was ihnen gelehrt wurde, doch oft kommen sie in Lebenslagen, die eine gewisse Überlegenheit fordern.... und um diese zu motivieren, legt er sich selbst ein Wissen zu, das ihm noch nicht vermittelt wurde.... er schöpfet aus dem Verstandeswissen, zieht aber nimmermehr das Herz zu Rate.... er wartet also nicht das Wirken des Geistes in ihm ab, sondern greift ihm zuvor.... Er erhöht sich selbst, wo er in aller Demut verharren sollte, bis der göttliche Geist sich auf ihn herniedersenkt. Es ist dies nur ein Hinweis auf die große Gefahr, die einem Diener Gottes drohen kann, so es ihm nicht sehr ernst ist um die Vermittlung der reinen Wahrheit.... um die Vermittlung des reinen Wortes Gottes.... Solange wirklich wahre Nächstenliebe den Menschen beherrscht, wird es unmöglich sein, daß die tiefe Demut entweicht und statt dessen die Überheblichkeit sich äußert, denn wahre Liebe suchet nicht eigene Ehre und eigenen Vorteil.... sie bringt dem Menschen eben Liebe entgegen, sie gibt, und das ohne jede Einschränkung, und sie wird auch stets und ständig in der Demut verharren, denn sie hat gar keinen Drang nach Anerkennung und gibt nur immer den Mitmenschen, ohne selbst für sich Anspruch zu erheben, als weise und wissend zu gelten. Dem liebenden Menschen genügt vollauf der Erfolg, den er für des anderen Seele erreicht, er hat kein anderes Bestreben, als die Finsternis des Geistes des Mitmenschen zu beheben, und bleibt sonst weiter, was er bisher war.... ein emsiger, bescheidener Diener Gottes, der in tiefster Demut die Gaben aus des Vaters Hand in Empfang nimmt und jederzeit willig weitergibt.... Denn alle göttliche Gnade wurzelt in tiefster Demut.... jedoch geistige Überheblichkeit bedeutet geistigen Stillstand, und darum warnet der Herr euch, Seine Diener auf Erden, auf daß ihr eure Aufgabe erfüllet und zum Segen wirket, solange ihr auf Erden weilt....
