Countervailing powers uninvolved in natural events....

The course of the world is conditioned by an eternally constant lawfulness, and therefore one or the other world, i.e. the individual world bodies, cannot arbitrarily subordinate themselves to other laws which would be contrary to those of the eternal deity.... It is therefore also impossible that the forces from the underworld could participate in any way in the governance of creation or express their power in such a way that the effects of this would be recognizable as contrary to the divine will. It would be absurd, for example, to assume that God could hand over His creations to forces other than those serving Him so that they could influence the creations in a destructive or degrading way; and it would be even less conceivable that these forces could elevate themselves to ruling opponents of the eternal deity, directing the entire creation, for everything in the universe is subject to divine will without exception.... And the opposing force is only permitted to test its power on the soul embodied in the human being.... just as, on the one hand, it can weaken human will and resistance to the utmost, but can also cause it to put up the greatest resistance and thus also stimulate the human soul to the highest activity. But the power of the adversary by no means goes beyond this. And if one now wanted to believe that forces opposing God could express themselves in creation, this is a huge error.... The course of the world will remain the same for eternities, and all celestial bodies, all suns, all world bodies will move in the order predetermined for them since eternity, and every change will still be based on the wise plan of the creator, which has likewise been determined since eternity. And this should now also explain that the creator of all things is also now at work, that such great changes will affect one of His works of creation, the earth, which could easily lead the ignorant to assume that here the opposing power.... evil in the spiritual world.... is unleashing its immense powers to run riot and cause confusion among people.... The demons are certainly at work, but not directly.... in the transformation of the earth's surface.... but they have exerted their influence on the human soul and so completely weakened its will to resist and forced its will upon itself that the deity now wants to put an end to this activity and thus wants to prove Its perfection of power, which extends across all areas, to humanity in order to turn its mind towards Itself, since it is not possible otherwise, the human being's free will shall remain untouched and yet the soul, which has already become too deeply entangled in the enemy's nets, shall be offered help in its dreadful situation. And that is why mankind's thinking should concern itself a little more with the origin of all creations. Anyone who looks at everything that has been created and is able to regocnize the will to love which motivated the creator of all things to bring everything into being will also regocnize the wisdom which guides and directs everything that has been created.... And thus he will also regocnize the hand of the divine creator in all events which have their origin in the workings of nature.... And he will realize that everything has to come about and happen this way because God, the creator of heaven and earth, cannot do anything that has not been considered extremely wisely since eternity....

Contrapoderes no son involucrados en los procesos de la naturaleza...

El curso del mundo está condicionado por leyes eternamente constantes, y un mundo u otro, es decir, los cuerpos celestes individuales, no pueden subordinarse arbitrariamente a otras leyes que serían contrarias a las de la Divinidad Eterna... Por lo tanto, es también imposible que las fuerzas del inframundo pudieran participar de alguna manera en el gobierno de la creación o expresar su poder de tal manera que los efectos del mismo se vieran contrarios a la voluntad divina.

Sería absurdo, por ejemplo, suponer que Dios pudiera dejar Sus creaciones a fuerzas distintas a las que Le sirven para que tales influyan en las creaciones de forma destructiva o degradante; y sería aún menos concebible que estas fuerzas pudieran elevarse a ser los opositores gobernantes de la eterna Divinidad que dirigirían toda la creación, porque todo el universo está sujeto a la voluntad divina sin excepción... y la fuerza contraria sólo está permitida para probar su poder sobre el alma encarnada en el ser humano... así como puede por un lado debilitar la voluntad humana y la resistencia al extremo, pero también puede impulsar ésta a la más alta resistencia y por lo tanto también estimular el alma humana a la más alta actividad. Pero la fuerza del oponente no va más allá de esto.

Y si uno ahora quisiera creer que fuerzas opuestas a Dios podrían expresarse en la creación, esto es un gran error... El curso de los mundos seguirá siendo siempre el mismo por las eternidades, y todas las estrellas, todos los soles, y todos los cuerpos celestes se moverán en el orden predeterminado para ellos desde la eternidad, y cada cambio continuará teniendo como base el sabio plan del Creador, que también ha sido determinado desde la eternidad. Y eso ahora debería explicar que el creador de todas las cosas también está obrando ahora, sin importar cuando grandes cambios afectarán a una de Sus obras de creación, la tierra, lo que fácilmente podría llevar a los ignorantes a suponer que el contrapoder... el mal en el mundo espiritual... está desarrollando sus tremendos poderes para desahogarse y causar confusión entre los humanos...

Los demonios ciertamente está obrando, pero no directamente... en la remodelación de la superficie de la tierra... sino que han afirmado su influencia en el alma humana y debilitado completamente la voluntad de resistir y forzaron su voluntad bajo ellos mismos, que ahora la Divinidad quiere poner fin a esta obra y por eso quiere demostrar Su poder, que se extiende sobre todas las áreas, a la humanidad para volver su mente hacia Sí Mismo, ya que no es posible de otra manera, si el libre albedrío del hombre debe permanecer intacto y, sin embargo, al alma que ya se ha enredado demasiado profundamente en las redes del enemigo se le puede ofrecer ayuda en su terrible situación.

Y por lo tanto, el pensamiento de la humanidad debería ocuparse un poco más del origen de todas las creaciones. Quien mira todo lo creado y es capaz de reconocer la voluntad de amor que movió al Creador de todas las cosas para dejar que todo sugiera, reconocerá también la sabiduría que dirige y guía todo lo creado... Y así también él reconocerá la mano del divino Creador en todos los acontecimientos que tienen su origen en el funcionamiento de la naturaleza... Y verá que todo debe venir y suceder de esta manera, porque Dios, el Creador del cielo y de la tierra, que no puede hacer nada que ha sido considerado sumamente sabio desde la eternidad...
