Entering the afterlife.... influence of the beings of light....

The gate to eternity should not frighten anyone, that is God's will.... But man's will all too often takes a different path and makes his entry into the hereafter an hour of deepest anxiety and abandonment instead of an hour of blissful joy. And yet God's goodness has shown him the right path countless times in his earthly life. But because the will of man may not be touched, the father in heaven only ever restricts Himself to indications of all kinds, but not that man must necessarily take a path that leads safely to the goal. And so the human being can organize the hour of separation from the bodily shell according to his own will for joy or for suffering, and he will not be eternally hindered in his will. What effort and endeavour it costs on the part of the beings of light who look after every human being to constantly guide the earthly child onto the right path.... if it does not consciously pursue its high goal.... can be seen from the fact that these beings constantly surround the earth and constantly let their spiritual strength flow to the earthly beings. If people would willingly surrender to every impulse of the heart it would be easy for the beings caring for them to shape people to highest perfection; yet how rarely does an earthly child live in the clear realization that it should only live on earth for its perfection, and how rarely does this result in a complete integration into divine will.... People are far more likely to struggle with the thoughts that want to impose themselves on them, which want to influence people in that direction.... What they should do in order to live in a God-pleasing way mostly does not appeal to them; they do not think of the end of their body and the therefore imperfect state of their soul but only of the body and its well-being, and it is therefore incredibly difficult for the beings of light to exert any influence on such earthly children, and thus the help which can be offered to them is very little, although it is available to them unmeasured.... But man believes that he does not need such help because he believes himself to be strong enough to carve out his own life and does not really think about the actual purpose of life. Behold, this is the great mistake of mankind, that it trusts its own strength too much.... and is therefore proud and arrogant.... True faith must be manifested through humility. The less a person trusts himself, the more he desires help.... And it is truly the right help to hope for from the beings standing in the light.... The earthly child has to struggle unbelievably and its strength would weaken prematurely if spiritual help were not always ready for it.... And this spiritual help also warns against too quick a judgement if it appears as if the lord chooses spiritually pre-trained people for His work on earth, i.e. people who are well-instructed by perfect beings. This view could confirm people in their opinion that God's will assigns this or that office to a person and that it is therefore irrelevant how far a person's spiritual maturity is.... Oh no, every human being must struggle with all his strength.... firstly for knowledge.... and this struggle is particularly difficult and should therefore be emphasized.... and then to make his will compliant and to submit to the divine will without resistance. Only he who offers his will to the lord will be chosen for an office which is of very special importance.... But every person's struggle should lead to the fact that the human being should hand himself over to his spiritual helpers and thus allow himself to be guided by them onto the right path which leads through the gate to eternity, thus to heavenly bliss with utmost certainty.... and you will not need to shy away from the hour of death but it will only mean a release from the physical shell for you....

저세상의 진입. 빛의 존재의 영향.

영원의 문을 어느 누구도 두려워하지 않게 되는 일이 하나님의 뜻이다. 그러나 인간의 의지가 단지 너무 자주 다른 길을 택하고, 저세상으로 들어가는 시간을 가장 축복된 기쁨의 시간이 되게 하는 대신에, 깊은 염려와 버림받는 시간이 되게 한다. 하나님의 선함이 인간의 이 땅의 삶에서 셀 수 없게 많이 올바른 길을 그에게 보여주었다. 그러나 사람의 의지에 개입을 해서는 안되기 때문에, 하늘의 아버지는 단지 온갖 종류의 가르침을 주는 일로 제한하여, 사람이 반드시 안전하게 목표에 도달하는 길을 가야만 하게 만들지 않는다. 그러므로 인간이 자신의 의지에 따라 몸의 겉형체로부터 분리되는 시간을 기쁨이 되게 하거나, 고통이 되게 만들 수 있다. 그의 의지는 영원히 방해를 받지 않을 것이다.

모든 각각의 사람을 돌보는 빛의 존재들이 이 땅의 자녀가 의식적으로 높은 목표를 추구하지 않으면, 자녀를 항상 올바른 길로 인도하기 위해 이제 어떤 노력과 수고를 해야 하는 가는 빛의 존재들이 끊임없이 이 땅을 둘러싸고 있고, 그들의 영의 힘을 계속해서 이 땅의 존재에게 흘려주는 일을 통해 알 수 있다. 사람들이 심장의 모든 움직임을 자원하여 따르면, 그런 사람들을 돌보는 영의 존재들이 그들을 최고의 온전함에 도달하게 하는 일은 쉬운 일이 될 것이다. 그러나 이 땅의 자녀가 이 땅의 삶을 단지 자신이 온전하게 되기 위해 살아야 한다는 분명한 깨달음을 가지고 사는 경우가 얼마나 희귀한 일인가! 이로써 얼마나 적게 하나님의 뜻에 완전히 순복하는 일이 일어나는가!

사람들은 오히려 그들을 그런 방향으로 향하도록 영양을 미치는, 그들 안으로 들어가기 원하는 생각에 대항하여 싸운다. 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 삶을 살기 위해 그들이 해야 하는 일은 대개 그들의 마음에 들지 않는다. 그들은 그들의 육신의 죽음을 생각하지 않는다. 즉 혼의 불완전한 상태에 대해 생각하지 않고, 단지 육체와 육체의 행복을 생각한다. 그러므로 빛의 존재가 그런 이 땅의 자녀에게 어떤 영향을 미치는 일은 믿을 수 없을 정도로 어렵다. 그러므로 비록 그들에게 줄 도움이 측정할 수 없을 정도로 많지만, 그들에게 제공될 수 있는 도움은 적다.

그러나 사람은 그런 도움이 필요하지 않는다고 믿는다. 왜냐하면 그가 자신이 자신의 삶을 개척할 만큼 강하다고 믿고, 삶의 진정한 목적에 대해 올바르게 생각하지 않기 때문이다. 보라, 인류가 자신들의 힘을 너무 많이 신뢰하는 일이 인류의 큰 실수이다. 그러므로 그들은 거만하고 교만하다. 올바른 믿음은 겸손한 성품을 통해 나타나야만 한다. 사람이 자신을 더 적제 신뢰할수록, 그는 도움을 더 간절하게 원한다. 빛 안에 거하는 존재는 진실로 올바른 도움을 기대할 수 있다.

이 땅의 자녀는 엄청나게 투쟁해야만 한다. 영적인 도움이 언제라도 그를 위해 준비되지 않았다면, 그의 힘은 일찍이 약해졌을 것이다. 이런 영적인 도움이, 마치 주님이 이 땅에서 자신의 사역을 위해 미리 영적인 양육을 받은, 다시 말해 온전한 존재로부터 잘 교육받은 사람들을 선택하는 것처럼 보일 때, 너무 빠른 판단을 하는 일에 대해 경고한다. 이런 견해는 하나님의 뜻이 이런 직분 또는 저런 직분을 사람들에게 할당하고, 따라서 사람이 영적으로 얼마나 성숙했는 지는 상관이 없다는 사람들의 관점을 강하게 만들 수 있다.

오, 그렇지 않는다. 모든 사람은 그의 모든 힘을 다해 언젠가 깨달음을 얻기 위해 투쟁해야만 한다. 이런 투쟁은 특별히 어렵다. 그러므로 강조되어야 한다. 그런 후 자신의 의지를 복종시키고, 저항 없이 하나님의 의지에 순복하기 위해 투쟁해야만 한다. 자신의 뜻을 주님의 뜻 위해 희생하는 사람은 특히 중요한 직분을 받는다. 그러나 모든 인간이 투쟁하는 일은 사람이 자신을 자신의 영적인 조력자들에게 맡기고, 이로써 그들에 의해 영원으로 이어지는 문을 통과하는 올바른 길로 인도받고, 즉 확실하게 하늘의 행복으로 인도받는 일이 되어야 한다. 너희는 죽음의 순간에 놀라 뒤로 물러설 필요가 없게 될 것이고, 죽음의 순간이 너희에게는 단지 육체의 겉형체로부터 해방을 의미하게 될 것이다.
