Demons.... temptations.... love to matter....

The demons lie in wait for every weak moment and seize the weak-willed soul to bring it down. The human being's struggle is in vain until he commends himself to the father in heaven, and blessed is he who takes refuge in Him in such distress, for he truly needs divine help. The hostile power has unbelievable power over a weak human heart and often uses such means which require fierce resistance, which the human being in his weakness cannot muster on his own. Yet divine love is always ready for the earthly child if only you think of it.... The soul constantly seeks to defeat itself, yet earthly possessions tempt it with all their might and the adversary tempts the earthly child in every conceivable way, and yet the inclination towards matter is to be completely overcome.... all desire for it is to be discarded and only spiritual possession is to be striven for instead, and yet again and again the human being falls into the enemy's hands if even the slightest love of possession makes him strive for it, for then his power is all the greater the more the human being allows himself to become a slave to his earthly possessions. And once he has recognized the weakness that causes man to fall, he will not cease with temptations of this kind. And again we want to call out to you: Watch and pray so that you don't fall into temptation.... Because the enemy tries to bring about the apostasy from God with cunning and he always uses the weakest moments in man’s life for this purpose and then has the strongest influence on the soul, which certainly recognizes the temptation as such in itself and yet a certain timidity drives it to comply with the desire of the enemy's power and thus still clings to matter again instead of declaring war on it. And thus the slightest cause can lead to spiritual decline, and a pure heart can be defiled if God's help is not claimed, but an earthly child desiring God's help and thus living in light and grace will successfully face every challenge, for its request for deliverance from the adversary's power will soon be granted and matter will appear ever more distant to it, and the inclination towards it will be completely overcome....

Demônios.... Temptations.... Amor à matéria....

Os demónios aguardam cada momento de fraqueza e agarram a alma fraca para a deitar abaixo. A luta do ser humano é em vão até que ele se recomende ao Pai no céu, e bendito é aquele que se refugia nEle em tal aflição, pois ele realmente precisa da ajuda divina. O poder hostil tem um poder inacreditável sobre um coração humano fraco e muitas vezes usa tais meios que requerem uma resistência feroz, que o ser humano na sua fraqueza não pode reunir por si só. No entanto, o amor divino está sempre pronto para a criança terrena, se pensarmos apenas nele.... A alma procura constantemente derrotar a si mesma, mas os bens terrenos a tentam com todas as suas forças, e o adversário tenta a criança terrena de todas as maneiras concebíveis, mas a inclinação para a matéria deve ser completamente superada.... Todo o desejo por ele deve ser despojado e apenas os bens espirituais devem ser despojados, e mesmo assim o ser humano cairá nas mãos do inimigo vezes sem conta, se mesmo o menor amor pelos bens o fizer lutar por eles, pois então o seu poder será tanto maior quanto mais o ser humano se permitir tornar-se escravo dos seus bens terrenos. E uma vez reconhecida a fraqueza que faz cair o homem, ele não cessará com tentações desse tipo. E mais uma vez queremos chamar-te: Observa e reza, para que não caias em tentação.... Pois o inimigo tenta usar a astúcia para causar a apostasia de Deus e usa sempre os momentos mais fracos da vida de uma pessoa para fazê-lo e depois tem a mais forte influência sobre a alma, que certamente reconhece a tentação como tal e ainda assim uma certa timidez a impulsiona a cumprir com o desejo do poder do inimigo e assim ainda se apega à matéria novamente em vez de declarar guerra a ela. E assim a mais leve causa pode levar ao declínio espiritual, e um coração puro pode ser contaminado se a ajuda de Deus não for reclamada, mas uma criança terrena desejando a ajuda de Deus e vivendo assim em luz e graça enfrentará com sucesso todos os desafios, pois seu pedido de libertação do poder do adversário logo será atendido e a matéria parecerá cada vez mais distante, e a inclinação para ela será completamente superada....
