Completion of spiritual.... maturity state.... protection....

Everything spiritual must complete itself.... It must, so to speak, be brought to the highest development and grow to a degree of maturity in which it is worthy to unite with the eternal deity. In order to understand this, the human being must have already reached a certain spiritual level.... he must have penetrated spiritual truths and must have learned to understand the human being's development, his task and his aim to such an extent that he now begins to sense what God has destined His creatures to do from eternity. He will now want to give the spiritual substance within him maturity with full zeal and of his own accord; he will work constantly on himself in order to place his spirit into that state of perfection.... But he will now also have to struggle with increased resistance, because precisely the existence of such a struggle is extraordinarily beneficial for the soul. Victory over temptations of all kinds, asserting oneself in all temptations and last but not least surrendering to all trials is an ascent from step to step in order to reach perfection. And the soul has to fight this battle all on its own, no other spiritual being can ever relieve it of the task or fulfil it for it, but it can only ever help with assistance if this assistance is consciously requested. Thus no soul can achieve a degree of maturity through protection which it does not deserve; instead, it must be fully active and completely fulfil the task set for it if it is then also to receive the reward which is set for such striving.... eternal beatitude in union with the divine father. Thus the spiritual entity in the human being, the soul, has certainly been burdened with the greatest responsibility but it also has to expect the greatest reward.... it has to do all the work in order to receive unspeakably glorious things in return, and it is undoubtedly exposed to great dangers in earthly life, yet the bestowals of grace help to reduce and overcome these dangers so that the soul can very well fulfil the task given to it, if it is of serious will and able to imagine the incomparable beatitude.... but otherwise it is offered no opportunity to enter the eternal kingdom of peace, and it is the father’s eternal decision that He wants to form His living creations into God-like beings which shall one day rule the universe with Him and in His will and continuously enjoy the highest beatitude....

영적 완성. 성숙 상태. 보호.

모든 영적인 존재는 완성에 도달해야만 한다. 말하자면, 모든 존재는 가장 높은 수준으로 성장해야만 하고, 영원한 신성과 연합하기에 합당한 수준까지 성장해야만 한다. 이를 이해하려면 사람은 이미 특정한 영적 수준에 도달해야만 하고, 영적 진리 안으로 들어가야만 하고, 이미 인간이 되기까지의 과정과 그의 임무와 그의 목표를 이해하는 법을 배워서, 그가 이제 왜 하나님이 영원부터 자신의 피조물에게 정해졌는지 짐작하기 시작해야 한다.

그는 이제 모든 열심히 자신이 동인이 되어 자신 안의 영적인 존재가 성장하게 만들기를 원하게 될 것이다. 그는 자신의 영을 완벽의 상태로 만들기 위해 끊임없이 노력할 것이다. 그러나 그는 이제 또한 증가한 저항에 대항하여 싸워야만 하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그런 싸움에서 승리하는 일이 바로 혼을 특별하게 지원하기 때문이다. 모든 종류의 공격을 향한 승리와 모든 유혹에서 자신을 관철하는 일과, 마지막으로 모든 시험에 순복하는 일이 단계 단계 완성에 도달하기 위한 발판이다.

혼은 이 싸움을 스스로 싸워야만 한다. 다른 영의 존재가 결코 이 과제를 대신 수행하거나 성취시켜줄 수 없고, 단지 도움을 의식적으로 요청할 때 지원받는 도움을 받을 수 있다. 하다. 그러므로 어떤 혼도 후원을 통해 자신에게 합당하지 않는 성숙의 정도에 도달할 수 없다. 혼은 오히려 열심히 일해야 하고, 혼에 주어진 과제를 남김없이 수행해야만 한다. 그러면 혼은 그러한 노력에 대해 정해진, 하나님의 아버지와 연합이 된 가운데 영원한 축복을 누리는 보상을 받게 될 것이다.

그러므로 사람 안의 영적 존재인 혼은 실제 가장 큰 책임의 짐을 지고 있다. 그러나 혼은 또한 가장 큰 보상을 기대할 수 있다. 말로 표현할 수 없게 영광스러운 것을 받기 위해 혼은 모든 일을 해야만 한다. 이 땅의 삶은 의심할 여지 없이 큰 위험에 노출되어있다. 그러나 은혜의 공급으로 이러한 위험을 줄이고, 극복하는 일에 도움을 받기 때문에, 혼의 의지가 진지하고, 비교할 수 없는 축복을 상상할 수 있다면, 혼이 자신에게 주어진 과제를 아주 잘 성취할 수 있다. 그러나 그렇지 않으면 혼에 영원한 평화의 나라에 들어갈 가능성이 제공되지 않는다. 영원 전부터 하나님의 결심은 자신의 피조물을 하나님과 같은 존재로 만들기 원하는 일이고, 존재들이 자신과 함께 자기 뜻대로 우주를 다스리고, 계속하여 최고의 행복을 누리게 하는 일이다.
