"The kingdom of heaven needs violence...."

Only he who uses force will enter the kingdom of heaven.... And so let it be said to you that two kinds of feelings are still fighting within you for supremacy; the desire for the world silences the inner voice at times, and you distance yourself from the lord through this desire. But on the other hand, your soul does not allow separation in the awareness of its belonging to God and soon seeks to lead you back again. If you then find it difficult to establish the connection with the divine saviour, this should always be a warning sign for you, for then you will have to use force in order to return to the spiritual sphere, whereas otherwise this is your soul's actual abode. And thus the deviation onto the path of worldly pleasures is always a danger for the soul, which suffers unspeakably from the separation from the heavenly father and fears a flattening of your feelings. Therefore, people who cannot renounce the world and its pleasures can never stand in knowledge, for these will always destroy all incipient illumination and the light cannot flare up and spread a bright glow where the splendour of the world overrides this light of the soul.... Man cannot seriously concern himself with that which is the sole portion of the soul if his greater concern is for the well-being and enjoyment of the body. All worldly pleasures should only offer man the opportunity to test and strengthen his resistance, but if the body's desire is given in, the earthly child must be offered an even greater test of resistance. Consider this very well when the world lures you and wants to make you incapable of your spiritual experience. Again and again such temptations must come to you so that you do not become careless and indifferent to the detriment of your soul. Every worldly joy, no matter how small, is a loss in the spiritual realm, for to the same extent as you pay homage to the former you fall under the spell of matter, which again blocks your path to the pure spiritual, for one cannot exist alongside the other, one is always achieved at the expense of the other, and therefore always choose the right.... choose the joys of the soul, the spiritual connection with the lord, and leave the stale earthly enjoyment, which cannot bring your soul the slightest advantage. For both the one and the other will become stronger in themselves through the fulfilment of desire.... He who strives for worldly pleasures will desire them to an ever greater extent, and he who strives spiritually will likewise have an ever greater desire for them through satiation. Therefore make no concessions, but fight against the desire in you, which can never be of use to you but can be extremely harmful to the soul. The joy of the soul is considerably greater than the joys of the world can ever be for man. And overcoming oneself results in the most beautiful success.... radiant light in which the soul bathes itself and which spreads a bright glow on the dark path of earthly life....

"O Reino dos Céus precisa de violência...."

Somente aquele que usa a violência entrará no Reino dos Céus.... E assim deve ser-vos dito que dois sentimentos diferentes ainda lutam dentro de vós pela supremacia; o desejo pelo mundo às vezes silencia a voz interior, e vós vos distanciais do Senhor através desse desejo. Mas, por outro lado, a vossa alma não permite a separação na consciência da sua pertença a Deus e logo procura guiar-vos de novo. Se então você achar difícil estabelecer a ligação com o Salvador divino, isso deve ser sempre um sinal de aviso para você, porque então você terá que usar a força para retornar à esfera espiritual, enquanto que de outra maneira esta é a morada real da sua alma. E assim o desvio para o caminho dos prazeres mundanos é sempre um perigo para a alma, que sofre indescritívelmente com a separação do Pai celeste e teme um achatamento do vosso sentimento. Portanto, as pessoas nunca podem ficar no conhecimento que não pode renunciar ao mundo e seus prazeres, pois estes destruirão sempre toda a iluminação incipiente, e a luz não pode se acender e espalhar brilho onde o glamour do mundo se sobrepõe a esta luz da alma.... O homem não pode preocupar-se seriamente com aquilo que só a alma tem, se a sua maior preocupação é com o bem-estar e o gozo do corpo. Todos os prazeres mundanos só devem oferecer ao ser humano oportunidades para testar e fortalecer sua resistência, mas se o desejo do corpo for satisfeito, deve ser oferecido à criança terrena um teste ainda maior de resistência. Considere isto muito bem quando o mundo o atrai e quer torná-lo incapaz da sua experiência espiritual. Tais aliciamentos devem ser enviados a vós de novo e de novo para que não vos torneis descuidados e indiferentes em detrimento da vossa alma. Cada prazer mundano, por menor que seja, é uma perda na esfera espiritual, pois na mesma medida em que se presta homenagem ao primeiro, cai-se sob o feitiço da matéria, que mais uma vez bloqueia o caminho para o puramente espiritual, pois um não pode existir ao lado do outro, um é sempre alcançado à custa do outro e, por isso, escolhe sempre o direito.... escolher as alegrias da alma, a união espiritual com o Senhor, e deixar o prazer terreno vencido, que não pode trazer a mínima vantagem à sua alma. Pois tanto um como o outro se tornarão mais fortes em si mesmos através da realização do desejo.... Qualquer um que se esforça pelos prazeres mundanos desejá-los-á cada vez mais, e a pessoa que se esforça espiritualmente também os desejará cada vez mais através da saciedade. Portanto, não faça nenhuma concessão, mas lute contra o desejo dentro de você, que nunca pode ser útil para você, mas extremamente prejudicial para a alma. A alegria da alma é consideravelmente maior do que os prazeres do mundo jamais podem ser para o ser humano. E superar a si mesmo resulta no mais belo sucesso.... luz radiante na qual a alma se banha e que espalha luz brilhante sobre o caminho escuro da vida terrestre....
