Faithlessness.... obstacle....

Nothing is more detrimental to people than a perpetual persistence in faithlessness. Not only do they lack the strength to be spiritually active but they are also deprived of the opportunity to strive for spiritual realization at all. How should this endeavour be awakened in such people if they only concern themselves with purely worldly things, if they have no faith whatsoever in a mission, which is the real purpose of their life on earth. Only everything tangible, visible and explainable with their intellect has any influence on these people.... but everything else, the inner life, spiritual thoughts and a possible continuation of life after death.... they indifferently reject as fantasies, and so all that remains for them is an extremely empty life, which is completely filled with the pleasures of the world, with all kinds of desires and vices, and thus allows no further thoughts to arise in them. However, by God's wise decree, every living being is embodied in one form until the soul of the being is ripe for a new mould.... for further development in another shell. What is the life task of every smallest creature must of necessity also be the task of the highest living being on earth.... the human being, and earthly activity can never suffice to secure a certain degree of maturity for it.... This earthly activity only benefits the body, which passes away in a short time on earth.... but not the soul that inhabits this body. How can the soul ever develop to higher maturity if it is not offered the slightest spiritual nourishment.... if the human being does not endeavour to help it to free itself from its burdensome shell, matter and its chains. The soul of a person who does not make this endeavour will remain on a low level, it will suffer unspeakably if it is not helped in earthly life and will have to bear an extremely difficult fate in the beyond. And all this only because the human being lacks the belief that he himself must take responsibility for everything he does or fails to do in earthly life. It is up to the human being to do or not to do what he wants, since he was given free will. But such an unrecognized and unused earthly life will never dissolve into nothingness, rather, after its earthly demise the soul will recognize the injustice in all its gravity and bitterly regret the useless past lifetime and try to climb one step after the other in arduous struggles and battles, once it has become aware of the eternal deity.... And so you know that faith is necessary and can never ever be replaced by wisdom and the intellectual will to recognize creation.... A childlike faith combined with the most heartfelt love for the saviour alone can lead you to eternal bliss, but without it you remain dead creatures, even if you move in the midst of the world's hustle and bustle.... You are poor in spirit and can never partake of the blessings that a firm faith can give you.... but you will walk in darkness until you desire light of your own free will and believingly accept it. Only then will you be able to fulfil the purpose of your embodiment....

Incredulidad.... Obstáculo....

Nada hay nada más perjudicial para los humanos que la persistencia perpetua en la incredulidad. No solo que carecen de fuerza para ser espiritualmente activos, sino que también se ven privados de la oportunidad de luchar por el conocimiento espiritual. ¿Cómo debería despertarse este afán en tales hombres cuando sólo se ocupan de cosas puramente mundanas, cuando no tienen fe alguna en una misión, que es el verdadero propósito de su vida en la tierra?

Solo todo lo que es tangible, visible y que puede ser explicado con su entendimiento tiene alguno influencia en estos hombres.... pero todo lo demás, la vida interior, bienes espirituales y una posible vida después de la muerte corporal.... simplemente lo rechazan indiferentemente como fantasías, y así solo les queda una vida extremadamente vacía, que está completamente llena de placeres del mundo, de deseos y vicios de todo tipo y por lo tanto no surgen más pensamientos en ellos. Pero ahora, a través del sabio decreto de Dios, cada ser viviente está encarnado en una forma, hasta que el alma del ser esté lista para una remodelación.... para un mayor desarrollo en un caparazón diferente.

Lo que es la tarea de la vida de cada criatura más pequeña necesariamente debe ser también la tarea de la criatura suprema en la tierra.... el ser humano, y la actividad terrenal nunca puede ser suficiente para asegurar este cierto grado de madurez.... Esta actividad terrenal sólo sirve al cuerpo que expira en poco tiempo en la tierra.... pero no al alma que habita en este cuerpo. ¿Cómo se supone que el alma llegue a desarrollarse hasta una madurez superior si no se le ofrece el más mínimo alimento espiritual.... si la persona no se esfuerza por ayudarla a salir del caparazón que la agobia, de librarla de la materia y sus cadenas?

El alma de una persona que no tiene este esfuerzo permanece en un nivel bajo, sufre indescriptiblemente si no le llega ayuda mientras aún está en la tierra, y tiene que soportar un destino extremadamente difícil en el más allá. Y todo eso sólo porque el ser humano carece de la creencia de que tiene que responder por todo lo que hace o deja de hacer en la vida terrenal. Depende del hombre hacer o no hacer lo que quiera, ya que se le ha dado el libre albedrío. Pero tal vida en la tierra no reconocida y no utilizada nunca se disolverá en la nada, sino que el alma reconocerá la injusticia en toda su severidad después de la muerte terrenal y lamentará amargamente el tiempo inútil de la vida pasada, y ahora, en una laboriosa lucha y pelea, intentar de subir un peldaño tras otro, si ha tomado conciencia de la Deidad eterna en primer lugar....

Y así sabéis que la fe es necesaria y nunca puede ser sustituida por la sabiduría y la voluntad intelectual de reconocer la creación.... Una fe infantil combinada con el amor más profundo por el Salvador sólo puede llevaros a la felicidad eterna, pero sin esta os quedáis criaturas muertas, aunque os movéis en medio del ajetreo y el bullicio del mundo.... Sois pobres en espíritu y nunca podréis participar de las bendiciones que os puede dar una fe firme.... pero caminaréis en la oscuridad hasta que exigís la luz por vuestra propia voluntad y la aceptáis con fe. Sólo entonces podréis cumplir con la determinación que es el significado de vuestra encarnación....
