Serve.... love.... task....

An alert mind will be given to those who devote themselves to the lord at all times. Just as a dewy meadow waters all its grasses, stalks and flowers, so the heart will also be blessed with divine grace so that it can constantly draw the will to live from it, and it will also never need to fear that it could ever lack strength, for where the lord wants to train willing servants for His teaching ministry, He also provides them with the necessary strength at all times.... By the task the lord gives you, you will recognize His degree of love. You have already received many a proof of love and must thank the lord for this love with ever more selfless devotion, and then the mystery of love will also become clear to you.... then you will only ever have one path that leads to God.... to serve Him with all your strength and will.... If you make this your concern, you will soon be so united with your saviour that everything in you will have become love.... And then you will recognize everything with your heart.... You give love and kindness everywhere and receive the saviour's love in return, and your work for the lord will become ever more zealous. For He Himself spurs you on to do so by placing warm feelings and a desire for labour of love in your heart. Whoever gives love will receive love twice over. He who serves the lord will be exalted and one day reign over many.... and whoever desires to see the lord will be recognized by the lord, but first you must free your soul from its oppressive covering.... You must make your heart worthy to receive the lord, only then can He make you happy, but then you will glow with love, and your endeavour will henceforth be a more diligent one to live to please the lord, to serve Him in all reverence and to love and worship Him with all your heart as the highest and most perfect being, as the divine creator of heaven and earth....

봉사... 사랑... 의무...

항상 자신을 주님께 드리는 사람들에게 깨어 있는 마음이 주어진다. 신선한 초원이 풀과 풀줄기와 꽃에 물을 주는 것처럼 심장도 하나님의 은혜로 상쾌해져 이로써 끊임없이 살아갈 의지를 끌어낼 수 있고 힘이 부족할까 봐 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐하면 주님께서 너희의 가르치는 직분을 위해 기꺼이 종들을 훈련시키길 원하는 곳에서 언제나 종들에게 필요한 힘을 주기 때문이다.

너는 주님이 너에게 준 과제에서 주님의 사랑의 정도를 깨닫게 될 것이다. 너는 이미 여러가지 사랑의 증거를 받았고 가장 사심 없는 헌신으로 이 사랑에 대해 주님께 감사해야만 한다. 그러면 사랑의 비밀이 너에게 선명해질 것이다. 그러면 너는 항상 하나님께 인도하는 단 하나의 길에 머물 것이다. 너의 모든 힘과 너의 의지로 그를 섬기는 일에 관심을 가져라. 그러면 너는 곧 너의 구세주와 깊게 연결이 되어 너희 안의 모든 것이 사랑이 될 것이다.

그러면 너는 심장으로 모든 것을 깨닫게 될 것이다. 너는 어디서나 사랑과 친절을 베풀고, 그 대신에 구세주의 사랑을 받고, 주님을 위한 너의 일을 항상 더 열심히 하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 주님 자신이 너의 심장 안에 따뜻한 감정과 사랑을 행하려는 열망을 넣어주면서 그렇게 행하도록 너를 격려하기 때문이다. 사랑을 주는 사람은 사랑을 두배로 받을 것이다. 주님을 섬기는 사람은 높임을 받고 언젠가는 많은 사람들을 다스릴 것이다. 주님을 보기를 갈망하는 사람에게 주님은 자신을 깨닫게 해준다.

그러나 너희는 먼저 혼을 짓누르고 있는 겉형체로부터 혼을 해방시켜야만 한다. 너희는 주님을 영접하기 위해 너희 심장을 합당하게 만들어야만 한다. 그러면 주님이 너희를 행복하게 할 수 있다. 그러나 그러면 너희는 사랑으로 불타오를 것이다. 너희가 앞으로 추구하는 일은 더욱 부지런하게 주님을 기쁘게 하는 삶을 살고, 모든 경외심으로 그를 섬기고, 온 심장을 다해 가장 높고 완전한 존재로서, 창조주 하나님으로서 그를 사랑하고 경배하는 일이 될 것이다.
