5959 "I know Mine...."

May 16, 1954: Book 64

I know My own and My own know Me.... My own also know that I am close to them, so close that they can hear My voice if they listen within.... And they also believe that I speak to them because My presence, which they feel, gives them this certainty. They have overcome the separation through their faith and love, for without love and faith they cannot belong to My own, and without love and faith I cannot be present to them such that they are aware of it. My presence is felt to be pleasing.... because no-one goes away empty-handed who lets Me stay with him, who has accepted Me into his heart, who is Mine.... And My gifts are truly delicious, which I distribute when I have taken abode in a human heart, and no-one shall miss them once he has received them.... My gifts are strength and light and grace.... I share unmeasured strength from the heart that has become Mine through its will and love.... I give light by enlightening his thoughts and thus he can mature in knowledge, and I shower him with graces without measure.... I help him wherever he is still in a state of weakness, so that he may reach his aim.... the deification of his soul.... reach. I Myself address him as a sign of My presence, for My word contains light and strength and is the most valuable gift of grace for My living creations, so that they will become My children. And anyone who receives My word.... who feels himself addressed by My word, no matter how and where it is offered to him.... belongs to My own, for he recognizes My voice and follows it in a feeling of bliss to know himself so united with the father that he is honoured by My address, that he is allowed to hear My voice which sounds full of love in order to let you all become My children.... Whether it touches you, whether you feel connected to Me through My word, that alone reveals whether you belong to My own. But I will approach everyone and speak to him so that no-one can say that he has not been touched by My love and grace.... I knock at every heart's door and desire entrance.... but whether he opens it to Me is solely determined by his free will, which I bless if he turns to Me, if he desires that I enter him and satisfy his desire.... Then he will allow My presence, then he will want to belong to My own, and then he will also recognize Who addresses him when My word is offered to him.... And then he need never fear that I will abandon him who has once found the path to Me....

Amen
