5454 A mission to proclaim the gospel....

August 2, 1952: Book 60

And it is My will that My gospel shall be spread throughout the world, for humanity has no knowledge of what it should be doing in order to become blessed. No doubt, they know My teaching superficially and you will not pass on anything new to people, yet that which is still dead within them, which were only words without meaning and spirit, is to come alive. You ought to enliven people with My Word which comes from above, you ought to inform them of My working which is the result of a living faith, of a life of unselfish neighborly love and the most intimate union with the One you want to proclaim to them. You should teach them that not everything they would like to dismiss and banish into the realm of fantasy and legend, is to be rejected, that profound truth was only disfigured by human will and that you bring this truth back to them in its purest form. For there are seekers amongst the masses of people, and to these you are bringing precious gifts which they appreciate well and are happy to find.... And since it is My will that you proclaim My gospel, I Myself will promote your activity in every way.... I will show hungry souls the path to you, anyone who desires light will see it shine and enter its ray, and I will guide your thoughts so that they will always want what is right when they do spiritual work and thus serve Me. You just feel yourselves like beings with inferior labour power and yet, even the smallest achievement can be of greatest blessing, a tiny stone can be started rolling and have a mighty effect, a single word of truth can draw ever greater circles and set in motion countless spiritual beings which intervene in people's thoughts, providing further enlightenment and thus can kindle light where it is still dark....

Carry the gospel into the world, speak where it is appropriate and know that I will always stand by your side if you are active for Me and My name. For the time is mowing towards the end. Therefore help redeeming all those who are of good will, for you who live in truth yourselves because you receive it directly from Me, are also able to spread it out, for anyone who wants to distribute must possess it himself, and therefore I will provide for you abundantly so that you can pass on My gift, for there is great hardship amongst people and you should be active constantly to remedy this hardship. And I will give you My blessing, and all the souls whom you lead out of spiritual darkness into the light of eternal life, will thank you for it as well....
