Der rechte Seelenarzt....

Ein jeder Kranke braucht heilende Medizin, will er gesunden und seinen Körper wieder frisch und kräftig werden lassen, um seine Pflichten auf Erden erfüllen zu können.... Und so auch bedarf die kranke Seele eine heilsame Medizin, die ihr zur Kraft verhilft, um gleichfalls die Aufgabe erfüllen zu können, die ihr für das Erdenleben gestellt ist. Sie ist krank und schwach, wenn sie das Leben als Mensch beginnt, und sie hat einen Aufstieg vor sich, für den sie Kraft benötigt. (8.3.1957) Ihr muß darum Heilung gebracht werden, sie muß sich einem Arzt und Helfer anvertrauen, der ihre Krankheiten kennt, der ihr nun die rechte Medizin verabreicht, durch die sie gesunden kann. Sie muß eine kräftige Nahrung genießen, um auch an Kraft zuzunehmen und nun auch den Aufstieg zur Höhe zurücklegen zu können. Und es gibt nur einen Arzt, Der ihr wahrhaft helfen kann, Der alle ihre Leiden und Schwächen kennt und Der für alle{s} die rechte Medizin bereithält: Es ist Jesus Christus, der Heiland und Erlöser von Sünde und Tod.... Und es gibt nur eine heilende Nahrung, die Er der kranken Seele verabreicht: Sein Wort, das allein die Seele in den Zustand versetzt, daß sie kraftvoll nun den Weg zur Höhe gehen kann, das sie das Ziel erreichen läßt, zwecks dessen sie sich auf der Erde verkörpern durfte. Denn dieses Wort ist das Brot, das vom Himmel kommt, das die göttliche Liebe austeilet mit segnender Hand, das wahrlich jede kranke Seele gesunden lässet, wenn es dankend aus der Hand Jesu Christi.... des Schöpfers und Vaters von Ewigkeit.... entgegengenommen wird, wenn die Seele sich labet daran, wenn sie in Wahrheit Fleisch und Blut genießet, das Wort, das als Gnadenstrom Gottes unentwegt fließet und jedem zugänglich ist, der Hunger und Durst empfindet, der krank und schwach ist und Brot und Wein benötigt, um wieder zu Kraft zu kommen.... Sein Wort ist die rechte Medizin für die kranke Seele, und es ist der Kraftborn für die gesunde, aber noch schwache Seele, denn wie auch die Seele des Menschen auf Erden beschaffen ist.... sie benötigt ständig Speise und Trank, sie wird niemals Nahrung entbehren können, weil sie ausreifen soll im Erdenleben und dazu immer der Kraft bedarf, die allein ihr durch das Wort Gottes zuströmen kann. Und ist sich ein Mensch seiner Schwäche bewußt, erkennt er es, daß seine Seele noch krank ist und eines Arztes bedarf, dann wird er sich auch an den Einen wenden, Der ihm sichere Garantie bietet, daß ihm geholfen wird.... Er wird sich Jesus Christus anvertrauen und um Gesundung bitten, er wird Ihm seine Schwäche und Mangelhaftigkeit eingestehen und sich an Ihn anlehnen, denn er weiß, daß er bei Ihm eine Stütze findet, daß Jesus Christus als Seelenarzt auch bereit ist, ihm zu geben, was seine Seele braucht.... Er weiß es, daß Seine heilende Hand sich nur auszustrecken braucht, auf daß er gesunde und daß Er auch weiterhin ihr die rechte Nahrung verabreichen wird. Und er wird Sein Wort entgegennehmen, er wird aus Seinem Wort immer wieder Kraft schöpfen und bald auch die Wirkung des göttlichen Wortes an sich selbst erfahren.... Denn eine göttliche Gabe bleibt nicht wirkungslos. Wer aber die Krankheiten seiner Seele nicht erkennt, der führt ihr auch nicht die rechte Medizin zu, und sie wird schwach und elend bleiben, sie wird den Aufstieg zur Höhe nicht bewältigen, und sie wird zudem auch ohne Nahrung sein, denn die rechte Seelennahrung ist nur das Wort Gottes. Und so kann es sein, daß eine Seele bei Beendigung ihres Erdenlebens noch genau so dürftig und schwach ist, wie sie die Erde betreten hat.... Denn sie kann wohl dürftig und völlig kraftlos sein, aber sie kann nicht vergehen.... Und in diesem Zustand muß sie nun auch das geistige Reich betreten, wo sie ihre Unzulänglichkeit bitter empfinden wird. Immer aber tritt der Heiland der Kranken und Schwachen an die Menschen heran, immer wieder bietet Er Sich Selbst an, ihnen zur Gesundung zu verhelfen, immer wieder lässet Er den Kraftstrom zur Erde fließen, an dem sich alle kranken Seelen Kraft holen könnten.... Und wahrlich, es wird die Krankheit und Schwäche von jeder Seele genommen, die sich dem Retter und Heiland Jesus Christus anvertraut. Und die Reue derer wird bitter sein, die an Ihm vorübergegangen sind und niemals Seine ärztliche Hilfe in Anspruch nahmen, denn sie werden krank und schwach bleiben und also auch so in das jenseitige Reich eingehen....

The right soul doctor....

Every sick person needs healing medicine if he wants to recover and let his body become fresh and strong again in order to be able to fulfil his duties on earth.... And thus the sick soul also requires healing medicine which helps it to gain strength in order to likewise be able to fulfil the task it has been given for earthly life. It is sick and weak when it begins life as a human being, and it has an ascent ahead of it for which it needs strength. (8.3.1957) Therefore healing must be brought to it, it must entrust itself to a doctor and helper who knows its illnesses, who now administers the right medicine through which it can recover. It must enjoy strong nourishment in order to also gain strength and now also be able to cover the ascent to the heights. And there is only one doctor who can truly help it, who knows all its sufferings and weaknesses and who has the right medicine ready for all: It is Jesus Christ, the saviour and redeemer from sin and death.... And there is only one healing nourishment which He administers to the sick soul: His word, which alone puts the soul into the state that it can now powerfully walk the path upwards, which lets it reach the aim for the purpose of which it was allowed to embody itself on earth. For this word is the bread which comes from heaven, which divine love distributes with a hand of blessing, which truly lets every sick soul recover when it is gratefully received from the hand of Jesus Christ.... the creator and father of eternity.... when the soul refreshes itself with it, when it truly enjoys flesh and blood, the word, which flows constantly as God's flow of grace and is accessible to everyone who feels hunger and thirst, who is sick and weak and needs bread and wine in order to regain strength.... His word is the right medicine for the sick soul, and it is the source of strength for the healthy but still weak soul, for just as the human soul on earth is made up.... it constantly needs food and drink, it will never be able to do without nourishment because it shall mature in earthly life and for this it always requires strength which alone can flow to it through the word of God. And if a person is aware of his weakness, if he recognizes that his soul is still sick and in need of a doctor, then he will also turn to the one Who offers him a certain guarantee that he will be helped.... He will entrust himself to Jesus Christ and appeal for recovery, he will admit his weakness and inadequacy to Him and lean on Him, for he knows that he will find support with Him, that Jesus Christ as a physician of the soul is also willing to give him what his soul needs.... He knows that His healing hand only needs to stretch out so that he will become healthy and that He will continue to administer the right nourishment to it. And he will accept His word, he will draw strength from His word again and again and soon also experience the effect of the divine word on himself.... For a divine gift does not remain ineffective. But anyone who does not recognize his soul's illnesses will not supply it with the right medicine either, and it will remain weak and miserable, it will not be able to manage the ascent upwards, and furthermore it will also be without nourishment, for the right nourishment for the soul is only the word of God. And thus it can be that a soul, at the end of its earthly life, is still just as meagre and weak as it entered earth.... For it can indeed be meagre and completely powerless but it cannot pass away.... And in this state it must now also enter the spiritual kingdom where it will bitterly feel its inadequacy. But again and again the saviour of the sick and weak approaches people, again and again He offers Himself to help them recover, again and again He lets the flow of strength to earth from which all sick souls could draw strength.... And truly, the sickness and weakness will be taken away from every soul which entrusts itself to the saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ. And the remorse of those will be bitter who passed Him by and never made use of His medical help, for they will remain sick and weak and thus also enter the kingdom of the beyond in this way....
